I also liked the ruins and would have loved to see more. But I think sets of living Aztecs with the accompanying sacrifices etc is a little brutal for Lego. God Bless, Nathan

As I'm one of those dwindling few who would like the castle theme to be cleansed of fantasy, I am definately going to have to vote against it in Pirate. One of my fav aspects of the Pirate line was how real it was. (With the obvious limitation of pirate vices to playable standards.) God Bless, Nathan

I was being polite, TT. ;) Of course someone can use it without permission, but usually then they credit it to the person. For instance, this thread on Classic-Castle, regarding the penguins (another small creation I thought would serve as a good example). Again, they could simply not do that as well... but then I'd hope that they'd feel just a little bit bad inside. ;) All I was doing was making it fair game. Nice MOC! Which brings up an interesting Q: I was using the Doc Ock hand in a similar way but never took pics...do I credit a later, but public, idea? (I probably would, but just a thought.) God Bless, Nathan

A nice custom! I like it all except the fire piece... Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan

I am afraid I don't find that as impressive as many castle MOCs, still nice though. God Bless, Nathan

Hmm, the net tends to not facilitate my manner of banter. I meant I don't care for the power rangers but like pirates, both of which are subinterests of castle... God Bless, Nathan

Same, though I have been caught in the position of commeting on a set I don't own (I rarely do that). I have a funny selfish story about this one... I was at my Grandma's when the whole clan was having a get together (I rarely see my gps) and I was getting more pop from the storage room whan I came across this set. As it was thanksgiving I said "that's gotta be for me, who else is a Lego maniac in the fam?" Needless to say my cousin got it... To tie it back in...For my bday he gave me his lego. It had 1/2 this hull in it... and one green door as I've mentioned elsewhere! God Bless, Nathan

I recently ordered from Lego for the purpose of getting some of the free gold bricks... When I recieved my order the gold bricks appeared on the packing list but not in the box. "No prob" I thought I'll just contact Lego. The reply I got said that while " The success of any company depends greatly on the product loyalty of people just like you. That is why it is always a source of great concern when we hear from a consumer indicating disappointment in any aspect of our Company. I have forwarded documentation of your comments to our Promotional Team for their review" they couldn't send me a replacement set of gold bricks. I find this a bit odd. I respect "while supplies last" but if on entering your order (and paying) you are told you will recieve one (I would have cancelled the order otherwise) and it appears on the packing list, aren't you entitled to a little more than "I have forwarded documentation of your comments to our Promotional Team for their review" ?! While I have been angry about the colour change, and decreasing brick quality I have always respected Lego's needs, but I have never dealt with a company that does this! Nathan (a heavy and now disgruntled Lego consumer, see below)

I just put castle ahead...you wouldn't think I would be a castle fan would you! :-D Ultimately Pirate is my 2nd fav theme and the gap between 2nd and the rest is like the premiership... But Castle just has so much more... depth, range, building styles, MOCs,Originality, etc.. God Bless, Nathan

Because castle lovers are friendly and polite and occassionally enjoy looking at sub themes :-D God Bless, Nathan

That seems fair enough to me. I do think it is the best of the smaller ships but the Cross Bone Clipper gets my vote due to favouritism. Nothing like bias eh? God Bless, Nathan :)
