  1. Of a prosperous Royal Knight city. (shakes head) God Bless, Nathan
  2. It was actually first built as a test to see how far my log bricks would go. That's why the burps and waterfall are included- to stretch out the walls. It contains my 2 Legoredos and the misc log pieces from 1 of each of the other western sets. They go surprisingly far. God Bless, Nathan
  3. Report this to LEGO at once! Make them understand! They don't. Though I've sent a 'few' comments. One of these days I'll be on my way to visit Phes in Aussie and get upgraded by fluke. As I settle into my new wider seat I'll realize the executive next to me has a little lego logo on his briefcase. Then for the rest of the long haul flight he will rergret they changed the colours, and by the time we land orders will be being sent for old grey plastic- if only to guard against sitting next to me on the way back... God Bless, Nathan
  4. A threat I look forward to!* God Bless, Nathan *That must make you a diplomat :-D . Perhaps one of the armarda's...
  5. Welcome, to the actual Vader. I guess that clears that up :-D . Feel free to expand into castle MOCs, even Pirate at a pinch*. *I feel as if I'm drowning in sharp Bionicle pieces of late :-D God Bless, Nathan
  6. Nice find! Thanks! And great use of the "..." in both cases, it is almost like you planned that!:-D God Bless, Nathan
  7. Basic mathematics: 12 / 20 * 100 = 60 Divide the top into the bottom and times it by a hundred. Yes, but shouldn't the bottom be the total # of votes (30) otherwise pirate would in fact be winning (60%). 12/30 * 100 = 40 ? God Bless, Nathan EDIT: Dreamweb beat me to the this.
  8. Alas there are no Australian eBay sellers with such raised base plates... As for eBay... Here's a recent one that went for over US$27.... Example 1 Another for around US$20... Example 2 Anybody wanting to make a fortune out of Pirate LEGO needs to sell their stuff to Australians who will pay ridiculously high prices for it... The 2nd design goes for a lot as it came in such an expensive useless set. The 1st one actally gets annoying if you don't have enough of the flat matching one. God Bless, Nathan
  9. This is what has always bothered me most about 4+. The ability to make your own characters is a huge part of Lego (I grew up on it) which is being lost ot modern lego builders through movies and 1 piece figs. God Bless, Nathan
  10. It is the wrong tone for stone or rock, which rules it out of my two fav areas (Castle and Pirate) so I can't see myself ever liking it. I also don't buy new sets that feature it in abundance (I subtract it from the piece count when considering purchases) so it is always just an annoyance which I don't have enough to build with and wouldn't want to anyway. God Bless, Nathan
  11. This is the longest official explanation I've come across (Thanks Peeron) but the cart with smuggling hatch and hideout more or less speak for themselves. Also the fact that they are always included in a similar way to pirates (either 1 in a jail or a set based around a hideout...) eg. see this pic. God Bless, Nathan
  12. No, a town hall... God Bless, Nathan
  13. They were all good... God Bless, Nathan
  14. That pirate! While complimenting himself he has slyly stolen my over-used "..."s :-D :-D ;) God Bless, Nathan
  15. I often think of figs as descending from other characters I've held in other lines. This probably has a lot to do with me liking the same few faces... The clearest evidence that Lego backs this theory are the Wolf Packs and Pirates. Similar habits, faces, and methods, but who taught them to sail?! :) God Bless, Nathan
  16. Nice MOC! I like your custom trees better than your custom cannon (which is also good)! Barrels are far too valuable a commodity for me to try this solution in a MOC though... I also like the various shades of the sea, very nice! Do you have other pirate MOCs? God Bless, Nathan
  17. I've often wondered the same thing. I think it would if it you stacked high enough and then tried to connect to an unpainted stack. God Bless, Nathan
  18. Why Thank You! God Bless, Nathan
  19. You'll see a large amount (by my meager standards) of tan in my next MOC. God Bless, Nathan
  20. You have to realize that the WPs are the pirates of the Castle theme. Lego even used the same faces to emphasize this fact. I actually see a cross over to your descendants thread... God Bless, Nathan
  21. sound(')s intimidating... God Bless, Nathan
  22. I wouldn't know how to respond to a great new castle theme. If it remained in bley it would almost be more aggrivating than the current stuff... (a slight off set being the thought of kids enjoying castle again, but still, bley...) God Bless, Nathan
  23. How do you figure that? Just curious. God Bless, Nathan
  24. YES! It is terrible (from a pirate/castle perspective, it may be all right for a cement based town...) And I agree with all the evidence listed above. God Bless, Nathan
