Don't get me wrong... I don't like any gaming consoles of any kind (I'm just merely providing, or in this case conveying infomation, since I read somewhere that at E3 this year, the people behind Xbox said the predicted release date was indeed the 2005 holiday season; along with some new games, no word on the quality of these though). I do, however believe in my trusty computer, but you can't really call that a gaming console, can you? Besides, this argument is really steaming up, and I don't want to be part of it. Sorry.

Sadly, Boody Jay, your money will have to wait until the predicted 2006 release of the PS3, while those Xbox 360 fans will have their dream console by the holiday season of this year.

:'( I really wished there would be a hospital set. :'( Well, thanks for the information anyways. ;) And even though there's no hospital this year, there is still hope for the upcoming years. :) *crosses fingers* And since this is solved, moderators, you can lock this topic if you would like. And thanks to all those who posted in respnse to this. ;)

I just noticed the font page with the new set. Thanks for posting it there, Jipay. ;) I hope now we'll start getting some more information on this mysterious new set. :) --------- NOTE --------- If you are the owner of the Brickshelf folder with the new set, and you are reading this, we would love to hear from you! I know I would. :) ;)

You said it, takuto20! Lucky you! Sadly, that older red and white hospital was the best hospital LEGO released, but I wasn't even born back in 1987 when it was released. I was born 3 years later. And if that wasn't bad enough I didn't get into LEGO when I was about 4 or 5 years old. Unfortunatly, it was way too late by then. (About 7 years had passed after it was released.)

Where is the LEGO Logo on...?
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Mister Phes's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I don't think the car wash brush has any LEGO logo, because, guess what (this is most surprising): None of the LEGO Technic wheel axles (nor any similiar parts) have any LEGO logo... Example:Common LEGO Technic axle -
The new kk2 sets on Ebay
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Christian's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
C dollars = Canadian dollars (And since the link was from www.ebay.ca, the "ca" stands for Canada's domain name in connecting to the internet.) Nice tactic there Mr. Phes... :-D I see you have much experience with Ebay buying... ;) -
Actually, I personally don't mind the black legs, since many male doctors wear black pants. (Or at least most do in the U.S.A., or are we just a wacko country?! *wacko* :P) P.S. Thanks for the discussion and feel free to keep it going, even though there might not be much news of it coming up soon, unfortunatly... :/ )

Are you sure it's the new grey? On LEGO's website the description for the grey polybags said that it was in the 2003 (old) grey color scheme, not the new grey (made starting in 2004). Don't believe me? Check it out... Set 10045 -- One part of the "set" BUT... The plates, I'm not really sure about the plates (set 10060). It said nothing in the discription on the plates wheather it was old or new grey, even though I'm persuming that it should be old grey as well because it is used with the building of the mouse (having most of its body being the bricks; which is in old grey)

Just to let you guys know, it is set number 7267 (name unknown). I have spent time checking Brickset and Lugnet, but they don't have any traces of it there. Any other suggestions on where I should look for info, which I desperately need right now (on this new minifigure)? I ALSO REALLY WANT (and need) A HOSPITAL!! *sing*
-
Has anybody seen this? Or know any information about it? Front: New Minifigure? Back: New Minifigure (Back View) **EDIT**: There are now new links to the pictures. If you saved the links as your favorites, update them with the new above links. ;) Seems like the Brickshelf file/folder was modified... >-| I think this could be a sign of some sets relating to medical things, for example an ambulance, or maybe even a hospital? I really wish there would be a hospital set because when the last hospital came out, in 1992 I believe, I wasn't into the whole LEGO thing yet and now I really need a hospital for my ever-growing city. REMEMBER...ANY INFO AT ALL, PLEASE POST!! THANKS! *satis*

The new kk2 sets on Ebay
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Christian's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Don't forget to let us in on your insights, Bloody Jay ;) And I'm thinking of getting one of those designer sets...seems interesting.... -
Wait...On the LEGO.com website, it said that only people who lived in the U.S.A (like me) could see it. So, did you guys see it? I did, but only about 10 or 15 minutes out of 2 hours were based on 6-year-old Brandon's room (the so-called "LEGO room") Any why a "Mouse Hole"? I have no clue. The family was Native American and there weren't any signs of mouse holes anywhere in the show. On the other hand, however, I was moved by the story behind this episode of the show. The single mother of two children (a son and a daughter; both very young) was killed in the war in Iraq. She promised her parents (which the children are staying with now) that when she returned, she would make them a new home. That never came true because she was the first woman killed in the Iraq war. Now the people behind the show want to show the family that they care and they build a brand-spanking new home in return for the mother's bravery in defending for the U.S.A. How beautiful... :')

The new kk2 sets on Ebay
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Christian's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I also just wanted to mention that as for now, Amazon.com in partnership with Toys 'R' Us.com is the best place to look for new, unreleased LEGO sets. So look there and you might find a surprise. ;) Besides, the above sets were on the amazon.com website about 1 or 2 weeks ago...you just have to loook more carefully... :) THANK GOD FOR AMAZON.COM!!! :-D -
The new kk2 sets on Ebay
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Christian's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Do you like them? For me, the model design is pretty much ok. And I don't know where he got them, but it is available on amazon.com. Let's have a look (no pics though): Battle Wagon (8874) King's Seige Tower (8875) Scorpion Prison Cave (8876) And last, but not least (in fact, it's the biggest set)... Valdek's Fortress (8877) I also wanted to note the jacked up prices on the Ebay items... :| -
Old grey is good, but LEGO won't be going back to old grey in the forseeable future. So better get those greys while you can. Besides, I pretty much used to the newer bleys now... And in my opinion, it's not "unexciting". Remember; LEGO started out as get basic bricks. And congrats on the new (or are they already used?) bricks.

Choose and answer, kindly if you please, from the following, Captain... ------------------------------------------------- 1. 8-| Make something? Like what?? (We are all waiting, so tell us! :) ) ------------------------------------------------- 2. Or do you want to keep it a surprise? ------------------------------------------------- 3. Or is that a lie? It is, isn't it?! I know a lie when I hear (or in this case, see) one! |-/

Hello! :) Welcome! :) Hope you'll enjoy it here! :) I know you will. :) You'll have fun. I promise...as long as you like LEGO and like to engage in (argumentive) conversation...go figure! |-/ :| P.S. As a newbie, don't be afraid to talk to the older members. (That way, you'll find it more enjoyable.) ;)

Show Lego Co your ideas! - New Official SW Buildin
Mr. Lego-builder replied to etcknight's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Gosh...this sounds like a nice contest and all, but I don't think (personally) will enter because: Number 1: I have small interest in Star Wars... Number 2: I don't think I really have the time, going to high school and all... And Number 3: I have a feeling that etcknight here is going to win with his entry. I mean, it's already widely talked (and praised) about in this forum alone. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Sidenote: Please, the YAY! thing might be funny for the first time around, but please, stop repeating YAY! over and over and over and over and over...you know what I mean. Just look at those two posts. *wacko* -

How does LEGO get transported around the world?
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Mister Phes's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Always glad to help out. ;) And you are right. There has been a LEGO Maersk released in 2004, but they sold out in a couple of weeks since LEGO only made about 1,000 of them to sell. Now, they are extra consious about that. They now have a limit (5 per customer) on their Shop At Home Website. -

How does LEGO get transported around the world?
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Mister Phes's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well, here is the LEGO version. And here is the real one: Ship #1 Ship #2 And there are many other versions too. Maersk has all different kinds of transportation vessels. -
Besides the name, what's the main difference between Town and City? Well, there was a <insert that tiresome argument> City line back in 1997 or so. The current "City" line is not that <insert that tiresome argument> and the Trucks are mostly 6 studs wide and cars were 4 studs wide, while the older, more classic "Town" sets have trucks and cars both at 4 studs wide. In my opinion, "City" is more realistic, because trucks are usually larger than cars, but on the other hand, the older "Town" sets have a much bigger selection of available sets, which includes town/city buildings (and unfortunatly, the current "City" line doesn't have buildings :'(. ) In my opinion, even though the "City" line doesn't have much yet, it still has great potential. ;)

Don't you mean old dark grey? I think LEGO still produces train tracks in old dark grey...Or am I wrong? Anyways, I recently ordered track (2 x curved and 4 x straight pieces) and it was in good old dark grey. On a sidenote, I also perfer the green roadplates better, because they look more suitible with calm, resedential areas. Besides, you can always use grey plates as sidewalks. On the other hand, the new roadplates (coming in July) have a better coloring, as the actual road is more appropriately matched with present-day colored road (a dark, dark grey to a light black; as on asphalt).
