  1. Yes, it is shipped, that's why LEGO has "Maeserk Sealand" promotion sets. Maeserk works (has a parnership/contract) with LEGO to ship and transport our beloved toys around the globe...straight from the factory.
  2. Yes, I too have this truck, and yes, I really do agree that it is a nicely modeled truck built with techniques that most (A)dult (F)ans (O)f (L)EGO use. (I'm extremly happy to see this present, because not there are not many examples of this since a long time.) Do you mean the trailer (the huge lunky part) or the nice little cab itself? If you mean you have problems with the roof of the cab not closing, I have that problem also (but only when there is a minifigure inside). If you mean something else, then your theory might be correct, unless other people can help out. Begining to lose (or have lost) faith in the quality of LEGO parts? Hope this is not the case. :( If it is, THE END IS NEAR!! *devil*
  3. If I'm not mistaken, but is it "LOT OF FORESTMEN"? (it is, isn't it?) :P But i must compliment you on your clever puzzle, although it was too easy...
  4. Yes...this arkward decison is yet another mistake of the LEGO company, posing another question for them to answer, why waste money? LEGO is sometimes not very wise with their marketing strategies, are they?
  5. Well, I actually define <insert that tiresome argument> pieces as pieces (usually large) that LEGO uses in lower-aged sets which can be formed by other LEGO pieces. For example, one piece with wheel axis pieces with a car base that is molded as one, could be considered <insert that tiresome argument>, because you can use seperate wheel axis pieces and a seperate car base piece. I actually don't know when juniorization started, but it seems to be less present now...back to classical LEGO...slowly, bit by bit...
  6. I agree with you. It really is over-rated. The price is way too high (it was around 39.99 to 49.99 when it was realeased), being bad enough that it was partially produced by Microsoft...(reminding you of Bill Gates? :P ) But i can't agree with you that I hate it or it is actually "stupid" as you say, becuase I have never played it...but i reinforce you saying that LEGO shouldn't start making Halo toys, even though i confess that it might sell well in the various global markets.
  7. Not to intrude or anything with this argument on the price, but i say that the price is pretty reasonable. On the ILTCO website it said that the set was licensed by the official TTX company and LEGO needed to pay for that license, which unfortunatly caused LEGO to jack up the price...so, yes...we ALL feel "megablocked" now, don't we? :'( *devil*
  8. I have never actually played the game, although I have heard that the Halo series (Halo 1 and 2) are very popular. I'm pretty sure the game is a R(ole) P(laying) G(ame) and a 3rd person shooter (correct me if im wrong because this was from my friend's experience :| >-| ). I have see people's ages raging from teenagers to adults playing this game on the demo versions at the stores. By the way, I think the Halo 2 game is rated M (for Mature/for ages 17 or above), but many people dont follow these rules...and I don't really mind... :-D :P
  9. As i know of yet, there are no current BIONICLE pieces that are fully compatible with SYSTEM pieces, but knowing LEGO, even if they did release a new Pirates line, which is unlikely (sorry mister_phes), they would probably make new molds for the pieces so it will somewhat be compatible with traditional LEGO pieces. *wacko* *devil* But in this way it is also bad for the BIONICLE fans because if there were colors or pieces that it would be only partcially compatible for them...leading to a new argument *sigh* (yet again) :/
  10. i absolutely agree with you, mister_phes. Afterall, LEGO originated in Denmark and is now available to all parts of the world...and not mentioning being 6th place as America's most known brand names...
  11. :oD I've noticed that this topic havent been replied to since 29th of March! (And some of the replies are off topic! >:( ) Anyways, heres good news, take a look at this *satis* : Dump Truck Picture On Brickshelf What do you guys think? Too many *BIG* pieces for me >-| (notice the correctly predicted one gigantic piece for the back bucket. (p.s. sorry if this was posted before)
