I just went on their company website (to the Pyrates page) and in my opinion, it is still not LEGO quality. There's barely ANY tranditional plastic building blocks. However, there is much impressing detail without the traditional blocks, but this is not how contruction toys are supposed to be, as these highly customized hulls and parts are most of the time not compatible with other sets. This is a perfect example of what I mean by both aspects. Note that if you click the "Detailed View" button, you can clearly see that there is a light-up hull (reminds you of TLC's mistakes? |-/ ) and there are cannons that can fire a projectile that is similar to the rubber ones that TLC uses.

Oh...that's what you meant. I was thinking of something else...nevermind. ;) And no, I don't have a (one-buttoned) Macintosh mouse. They look nice though. :D

However they make it, it won't ever come close to what LEGO has to offer. (Or at least I hope not!) As we all do, I hate all of TLC's competitors no matter what they make.

Nah...this site is going along quite nicely. Besides, I don't think that the site is in any financial trouble, because it says that he doesn't want any money for the site. However, he does request that we send him any scans that we have of official LEGO models. See this quote on his FAQ page:

Funny that you would ask. Obviously, he's such a pirate fanatic (like his title implies). It's just like asking why you love to draw pictures on your computer, vcvc. ;)

Are you sure you should continue on like this, vcvc? Most of your posts are (space consuming) pictures only, and when there is text, there is broken English and for just one main idea, you use 2 or 3 posts. I know I shouldn't be so authoritative, and I'm only expressing my opinions, but please try to think before you post and limit the posting of your pictures. AND TRY TO USE THE EDIT BUTTON SOMETIMES. P.S. If you want to raise your post number, wait for the right time and then post. You might even earn more that way. ;) Sorry if I insulted you in any way, but I'm just trying to express how I feel about this... Thanks for understanding. And I think we would all appreciate it. ;)

Jipay, your little furry pets are so adorable! :-D

I also used to have a pet. A strange one though. It was a turtle. I had it for 2 years or so before it died of "unknown" causes. :'( My cousin has a cat. A kitten actually. And it's so cute sometimes. (But sometimes he's a little rough. >-| ...)

This might be a little late (and you can ignore it if you already have the moasic), but you can always use the Moasic Designer in MLCAD, if you have the software. You just import the picture, and the software does the rest. It is very similar to the one that TLC produces. You can set the depth, size, detail, etc... Best of all, it's free and is available anywhere. ;)

Frankly, I don't know if Kabaya (if that's what you mean) released any Viking "mini-sets" with their candies before, or at least that's what a search on Brickset says... |-/
