CLUES: The Beginning
Mr. Lego-builder replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Or maybe the fake one was a replacement that took the place of a once real suit of Viking armor...could Mr. Crowley's mansion have had a visitor (a theif?) after his death? -

Does anyone know in what manner that it was confiscated it or perhaps the reason for the confiscation? Could this be a clue? -

Perhaps...historically correct Vikings didn't have horns. So one might be fake and the other authentic. Bloody Jay, can you futher comment? -
CLUES: The Beginning
Mr. Lego-builder replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sure. No problem. ;) However, I think we must keep moving. If we stay in one place, ominous things might happen. Darkness is lurking...ready to strike any moment. Should we examine our surroundings? Or should we report upstairs? Akkh already asked about the Viking armor. What is your response to this, Brickster? -

Please don't go further into trying to force open the doors. I suspect that it will only make the situation worse. Even though building inspectors of the LCCD were too terrified to have examined this building, I suspect that this place is unsafe. We should get going on this mystery. This rusty old place could come down any moment now. As for me, I think we should explore the 1st floor with a partner and report any findings back to Brickster. Each group set out to explore divided sections of the 1st floor of the mansion. Now only if we had a map... -
:) HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both! :) May your special day be filled with twice the happiness and twice the LEGO. ;)

Here's my vest. Sorry. It isn't much but it is the best I can do. Don't worry about me. I dress in layers. My blue sweater will keep me warm for now. *satis* -

Pete, I saw Sarg Kulo this past afternoon. He passed us as you were trying to find the key. Perhaps he forgot about the mystery? Pete, you should better keep track of your belongings, especially when it is something important like this. -
This thread is causing much controversy. And I do not have a opinion about this attitude or personality. Maybe he does have "poor family values" or "needs attention" or maybe it is just the way he acts that seems annoying, or perhaps we won't ever know. Not to start an argument, but in my opinion, in every forum there will be a member like vcvc. As long as there are not severe troubles caused by him/her, then it is usually fine by the admins at the boards. Mister Phes also mentioned BSBfan. Can anybody tell me who he was? I looked at his horrible posts, but I don't know why he was banned.

Yes. Thanks for the correction. I always hated doing statistics anyways. ;)

Don't worry, you would be fine. I know how you feel. It is nearly halfway around the world, yet, it feels somehow closer to home. Same feeling I had on September 11th. That unforgetable day. I'm sure everyone has heard of it.

PICS OF AIRPORT!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Lost Viking's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Please, Bloody Jay. Calm down. Please do not threaten to kill our members. Be nice now. ;) :D :P Now if we could only get pictures of the real City airport, that would be nice. (Nice joke though. Totally fooled me.) -
Then again, the price is my next worry. I really do hope that they would be reasonable.

Hello. Welcome to our community. Sorry for the late welcome. P.S. I also live in the U.S. (On the other side of the country, however.)

Why is LEGO so stingy with their mini-figures?
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Mister Phes's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hasbro has that specific license to produce SW figures. TLC doesn't have the lisence to make seperate figures. If LEGO tries to do it, Hasbro will start fighting back. It's not Lucasfilms that is to blame, it is the freaks at Hasbro. -
It seems to be back up again...

I hope they are adding something GOOD and WORTH-WHILE. I have never experienced troubles with LEGO.com before...
-
What are containers? I have a city also, and I might be interested in what you might be building. ;)
-
Thanks for the advice. Guess I'll start making a list of my wanted pieces too. I just hope that the prices won't be too high. ;) Thanks again.

You wouldn't belive how many stickers MegaBlok uses! They have stickers in almost every single set. They also use stickers on their minifigures. Also, MB stickers are of a poor quality. They are easily rubbed off and dissolve the moment they come in contact with water. Now aren't you glad that even though TLC uese stickers, they are at least of better quality?

Why is LEGO so stingy with their mini-figures?
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Mister Phes's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm sure you already know this, but there will be no Star Wars minifigure packs, that is for sure. LEGO is not allowed to make "sets" like this. -
What links have these errors? All the main links work for me. I wonder what is wrong... EDIT: I tried a while later. It is down. I got the same errors. I still wonder why...

EVERYONE, CALM DOWN. This is exciting news, and I agree it certainly is, however, please try to calm down. Deep breaths, deep breaths. In....out.... OK... Now, it seems to me that it is very interesting that LEGO Direct would announce this. They would rarely tell us anything about upcoming sets/promotions. Rutmar, may I ask why did you call LEGO Direct in the first place, and do you know why LEGO would announce such an event? I was just wondering, because it does sound too good to be true. AND... If this is true, how will LEGO put this online? There will be simply too much to list.

Mr. Lego-builder replied to languages's topic in Forum Information and Help
Good question. I'm curious in knowing too. I only got as high as "Advanced Member" before I got my title. But here is what I know so far: Newbie-->Quarter Member-->Half Member-->Member-->Advanced Member-->Respected Member EDIT: Right after I posted, Yoda explained it to me. ;) -
Does anyone have clear pictures of Vikings?
Mr. Lego-builder replied to legofreak's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This picture might help. (Taken from Brickshelf.)
