New 2005/6 Bionicle Lego system sets
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Cyclonis's topic in LEGO Action Figures
This effect is the same with all sstickers. Since the stickers have a high gloss coating, light reflects off the stickers more than the bricks themselves, causing the optical illusion of different colors between the stickers and the bricks. -
CLUES: The Beginning
Mr. Lego-builder replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yes! Let's go downstairs! Be careful though. If something happens to the ladder, we might be stuck down here... -
Great news! However, I'm still confused about some aspects of this: 1. How many pieces can a set have? 2. How many pieces of each element can be in each set? 3. How long will the process take, since the pieces might be varied?

Let's look in the cupboards, in the oven, and lift up the lids of the pots/pans and look inside! There must be some clues here! -
Even though it is a Target exclusive, there is a chance that not all stores will stock it... :|

Judges aren't always the smartest people, eh? -
Yes...I was suspicious from the beginning. As they say, talk is cheap. We need physical evidence.

Double T and everybody else: Did anyone actually call LEGO Direct to confirm whether it is a rumor or not?

Mac's Bricks about to start selling
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Darth_Ewok's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
You should really ask...but on the other hand, I have a question...what kind of sticker paper are you using? Most people use water-slide paper for the best results looking like a LEGO produced printout. However, it does require alot more work and is a little more expensive. But in the end the quality will be much better and the life of the stickers will last longer. See them here. The Krylon acrylic spray mentioned is not absolutly nessecary, but it will make the sticker nice and glossy and it will also prolong its life. -

Are you sure we should start randomly drinking liquor? :D :P I mean, you are literally "stealing" the drinks/food...wouldn't this make Mr. Crowley angrier? Just a thought... 8-| -
Lego wins lawsuit in the Netherlands !!
Mr. Lego-builder replied to xwingyoda's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Great news! Just for a thought...LEGO is winning in most court cases, except for in the U.S. and Canada...why is this? Are the laws that different? I mean, I can understand why LEGO couldn't win in Canada, but why not in the U.S.? -
Chek out this e-bay seller!
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Lost Viking's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Oh, gosh...how horrible. For high prices I would expect superb quality...but not in this case. Do you know if the special coating will help protect it from scrathes? P.S. I can't wait to see the evidence. ;) -
CLUES: The Beginning
Mr. Lego-builder replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Here are the issues that I want dealt with: 1) Are there any marking/s or any significant symbol/s (telling us where it was made, etc.) on the revolver? 2) Brickster, you stated that the revolver hasn't been used for some time. How long exactly do you mean? 3) The dated letter seems rather recent (a little more than a year). So, my question is: When did Mr. Crowley get murdered? 4) Are the two (the letter and the pistol) related in any way? Can someone in the group can provide an answer? 5) Put the revolver back or take it with us (for futher examination/clues)? IMO, we should search/examine the ground floor before going upstairs. What do the doors on the West lead to, Brickster? It would be less confusing if we had a map... -

Very good minifigure customs...I wonder why he won't take Paypal though. He says quote: What is wrong with Paypal? -

What is the scariest thing that has happened?
Mr. Lego-builder replied to Darth_Ewok's topic in Community
Sure...here is one for starters that I made up that was adapted from the original...it isn't really a ghost story nor scary either, but you might like it... :oo :oo :oo Once there was a girl named Lisa. She was like all the other girls except for one thing. She always wore a ribbon around her neck. Later, in her life, she found her love. A boy named Fred was in her class. Fred liked Lisa and Lisa liked Fred. Now, one day, curious Fred asked Lisa, "Why do you wear that ribbon all the time?" "I cannot tell you," said Lisa. However, as time passed, Fred kept nagging on about her ribbon. "Why do you wear it," Fred always asked. "It is not important," Lisa would always respond. Soon, they got married. After the wedding Fred would still ask Lisa about the ribbon. But still, Lisa would keep quiet. "I will tell you when the right time comes," Lisa would say. Years and years passed. Soon they got old. And with age, Lisa would constantly become sick. One unlucky day, the doctor told them of unfortunate news. Lisa was dying. Lisa, in her now weak, hoarse voice called Fred to her side. "What is it?" Fred sobbed. "Now I can tell you about the green ribbon." Lisa said,"Untie it an dyou will see why I couldn't tell you before." Slowly and gently, Fred untied the ribbon...and LISA'S HEAD FELL OFF. --Story adapted from an European folk tale in which a red thread was worn around a person's neck. The thread marks the place where the head was cut off, then later reattached. :oo :oo :oo -

Mr. Lego-builder replied to Darth_Ewok's topic in Community
Well, there are always knocking sounds in my bedroom at night...and only at night. It doesn't really scare me, but I wonder why it happens... EDIT: I also heard that when people's souls/spirits are stressed, ghosts are actually there to release that anxiety. I have heard alot of other ghost stories too... -

Maybe the theif was the murderer. Murdering just to get a Viking's armor? That's brutal! *devil* This leads me to believe that the thief had to be a Viking fanatic. And you know who that might be... 8-| -
Me neither. But I think it is better if we didn't see it...
