Your fire station is great! May I see close-ups of your rubber-band operated doors? Or even better, do you have intructions? I much appreciate it, since I need more garage door ideas instead of buying the pieces produced by LEGO off of Bricklink. Thanks. P.S. Your store also looks great! ;)

Thanks for the correction, Yoda. ;) I guess I was too excited at the time of the post that I overlooked the typo. :D

So where is your closest PAB, or LEGO Store, Bloody Jay? Does it have a good selection? Since I live in Massachusetts, there are two LEGO stores located within the state, but the nearest one is still about 50 miles away. However, the selection (including the PAB) is really...dear I say... bad! :o (It's not really a surprise though. |-/ >-| )

Interesting enough, that there are 203 pieces, for only 8 figures? I hope there are more figures or some vehicles... :/ Thanks for the front page, Bloody Jay!

It's true folks! The new 2005 Advent Calender with City Minifigures are now available! It is strange why it is already available in August.... *wacko* iBrickshop is the only vendor who has it right now. Get them while they are hot! See the item here! Enjoy and discuss! P.S. Personally, I'm going to buy at least two to boost my City's population! *satis* EDIT: Upon futher inspection of the site, it is a good site with a lot of older sets up for sale. Some with lower prices than Bricklink. ;)

Prateek, thanks for the news, but I have already posted the same link in the "Viking release time in the USA?" thread yesterday.

CLUES: The Beginning

Well, the chalkboard text looks like it is written in Latin...but over the summer I have almost half forgotten the meanings of these words. *wacko* So it'll take a while in order to translate the whole passage...Perhaps, Bloody Jay, since you also "know" Latin, please assist us. A special note however, they some of the words are written in English. And whoever wrote this admits in the last line that: "meus latin est non bonus" which translates to "my latin is not good." -

Interesting. Count me in! They all sound pretty nice I would like more information for each mystery, so I can make a more informed decision. So I'll vote sometime later. -
I guess we'll have to wait a month or two, but now everyone can visit the Vikings mini site. The commerical is interesting though. It only shows three of the five sets. :/

No laughing here. I'm just amazed that you did all of that! If I were you, my brain would have turned to mush before I even reach halfway! Nice Job! *satis*

|-D Well this sure is a surprise! But I still see no interior veiw...or is that still another surprise? :P :D

Surprise, eh? Okay then. I'm now working on a CG picture* of my SWAT truck. It should also be up by tomorrow. *I won't be able to provide a real photograph since I don't have a digital camera. I might get one at the end of this August, but who knows what might happen. *wacko*

Great job, both of you! And to let you in on a little secret, I just finished making a SWAT van a couple of minutes ago. Looks like everyone is into this SWAT craze! :D P.S. Do you have interior pictures of your model, Yoda? Mine so far is pretty plain. I need more inspiration!! :-D

Chating with me :D :P :-D Then I think I should chat with you sometime.... :-D :P

Very good! The design is really well done. Do you have by an chance the photo that you based this model on? I'd like to see where you get all of your inspiration from. ;)

Time to open these double doors to the library! -
should i buy the fire comand craft
Mr. Lego-builder replied to billybob's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Personally, I don't have the set, but my friend says that it is great. There are many details and features, including a sleeping area in the lower deck, and an opening back, though of course it doesn't really float. ;) The upper compartment has a control panel and steering wheel for a ship's wheel. The alternate models incuded are other not-as-good versions of arious firefighting boats. If you need/want it then by all means buy it. But if you want the best of the best, this boat could sure use some modifing. -
Just a reminder that I just mailed my part of the trade today. Hopefully, you should receive them in a week or two. ;)

Don't worry, I'm still 14! And I'm only one day younger, too... :o

I'm amazed! You actually drew that?! Wow. It is very good! I could never draw that well. My avatar is an edited picture taken by TLC.

Now that I see the full perspective, I can see that you might be doing a SWAT vig. You are a great inspiration. The more I think about it, I should also have a SWAT team for my City. ;)
