  1. First, thank you Hinckley for hosting this wonderful game. Congrats, Scummos. Several of you I had listed as scum, but I never had enough that I could lead a lynch with. Well done. I don't remember saying anything that could hint at me being the Vig, but my memory is terrible, so I could have very well done that. At least this time I never claimed to a scum via PM, like I've done every other game I've played. That's progress, of a sort. Def, I do feel bad that I backstabbed you by changing my vote, but I really didn't trust you. And after the Protector was outed, and Belinda was outed, I didn't see any reason to fear myself being outed as well. Turns out the scum already knew what I was, anyway. It was Mafia, and I felt it was the right thing to do. Too bad the town didn't follow me. And someone has to say it. We suck, Penises.
  2. 1. I've played 6 thus far 2. , or maybe 3. I've always liked the idea of an open game, and it will be interesting to see how everything plays out. Seems like there are an awful lot of things that can go on at night. It could make things very difficult to decipher in during the day, which hurts town more than scum. Speaking of Role Madness, has one ever been run here on EB? A game like that could be...interesting.
  3. 8089 - Hoth Wampa Cave (Star Wars) Hoth Wampa Cave.mpd Errors: Wampa uses unofficial parts No Stickered Parts Incorrect Helmet and goggles on Luke Skywalker Incorrect Head Print on the Rebel Pilot Many thanks to C3POwen, who provided the unofficial parts for the Wampa. The links to these .DAT files can be found in this quote
  4. You could always try this piece. It isn't in production any more, and the Dark Bluish Gray variant was only in two sets, but it is more than a half stud longer. So it should work. It'll cost you a pretty penny on Bricklink, though.
  5. Yes please. I can't wait to start playing around with it. Also, a question. Assuming you already have the model done in MLCad, SR 3D, etc., how long does it take from import to completed render? On average, as there are a lot of mitigating factors, obviously. I'm trying to get a feel for render times relative to POV-Ray, if that's possible.
  6. 9748 - Droid Development Kit - Model B - R2-D2 (Mindstorms/Star Wars) R2-D2 DDK.mpd Errors: Other than the hoses and flexible axles being a bit wonky, no errors. 9748 - Droid Development Kit - Model C - Jedi Knight Droid (Mindstorms/Star Wars) Jedi Knight Droid DDK.mpd Errors: The homemade links that open and close the jaws aren't quite in the right position, but other than that, it's golden. Great googily-moogily! We need to get that guy in here to teach us how to do that. It looks fantastic.
  7. Craters? Just because there are 127 sets left, doesn't make it craters. Actually, it'll keep me busy for a good, long time.
  8. 9748 - Droid Development Kit - Model A - L-3GO Trainer (Star Wars/Mindstorms) DDK - L-3GO Trainer.mpd No errors on this one, believe it or not. I'll get the other models (there are two more) up as soon as I can. If anyone is interested in how or why I chose the sets that I have, I am trying to fill in the gaps in the Star Wars sets, and I started with sets that I do not own. It was a shorter list than the ones I do own, and I also get a sense of what it's like to build them. I'll get to the other half eventually.
  9. 8010 - Darth Vader Darth Vader.mpd Errors: First, It should be obvious that the Helmet piece and Large Cloth Cape are missing. Darth isn't so menacing without them. There are some stickers that are missing. The Bionicle Bohrok Head Cover piece is missing. The Minifig Chain around his neck is there, but isn't laying correctly (due to the missing Bionicle Piece). The rubber bands (on the arms) are missing. For a change the hoses came out really well.
  10. 8011 - Jango Fett Jango Fett.mpd Errors: Missing Rubber Band (I could not for the life of me get LSynth to insert one for me. I've done them before, several times, so I'm not sure where the problem is.) 9L Technic Link is missing. Hoses could use some work, especially the ribbed ones on the arms.
  11. 8008 - Stormtrooper Stormtrooper.mpd Errors: Sticker is missing (it's even a STAMP ) Visors on the feet are not correct (they should be the Slizer/Throwbot visors) While they are there, the hoses are a bit lackluster. LSynth just didn't want to cooperate today.
  12. 10198 - Tantive IV Errors: Captain Antilles wrong Torso Print Captain Antilles wrong Head print Captain Antilles wrong helmet Printed 8 x 4 x 6 Cones not available Rebel Trooper wrong torso print Rebel Trooper wrong head print Rebel Trooper wrong helmet Tantive IV.mpd
  13. 8037 - Anakin's Y-Wing Starfighter Errors: Stickered Pieces are missing Wrong Torso for Anakin Wrong minifig head for Anakin Wrong Torso for Ahsoka Wrong headpiece for Ahsoka Wrong minifig head for Ahsoka Windscreen has white printing, not yellow But other than that.... Here's the Link
  14. Of course you did. It was a fun game to be a part of, and I'm looking forward to your next game.
  15. DAmmit! Hinck beat me to it. Eurodina went 14 days. But it also started with 30 players. Would have been a lot longer, except Zepher started allowing two, and then three lynches per day near the end. A lot of....interesting stuff went on in that game. Including a Town Vig turned Scum Killer turned Neutral Serial Killer, who then outed the entire scum team to the Townies. Believe me, there's nothing like receiving votes with absolutely no justification. "I'm voting for you, defend yourself." So Hinck's little fiasco at the end of Forest II had a precedent, of sorts.
  16. I most definitely need to be there for that. That means they are open for May the Fourth be with you. Excellent! It's about time St Louis got a LEGO store. Closest ones were in Chicago and Memphis. About 5 hours either way. Now it's a half hour drive. My wallet hurts already.
  17. I just wanted to say this was a fantastic game to watch from the sidelines. There are a lot of new players I'm looking forward to matching wits with in the future. And to the hosts, the narrative and photos were absolutely brilliant. Wonderful game, everyone. Just as a general note to any new players (can't hurt for the vets, either): read through the roles section on Mafiascum. Even if you don't retain it all, at least you will have an idea of what's possible. Yeah, if it was intentional it would have been so cool.
  18. Oh, and KDM, don't feel bad about not trusting me, or any non-masons. It was extremely difficult to tell scum from town. If I had taken a penalty vote for not using my action, would mason opinion changed? I didn't think about it until last night, so it was a bit late.
  19. Great game, my fellow townies. See, I told you I could be trusted. :P I'm glad the scum were not able to turn the vote to me. I had nothing left to argue. I'll post more thoughts when I'm not on my phone.
  20. Your past Mafia experience - Eurodina, Bloodbrick I, Forest I, Werewolf, EB II Your ability to focus on the game over the next 32 days - Shouldn't be an issue, I have a smartphone, so there's no excuse, really. Will you be able to keep up with 20 hour NA deadlines? - Is the pope Catholic? Does a bear shit in the woods? Your favorite Mafia moment - It has to be when I blocked a scum in Bloodbrick I and got lynched for it, losing the game for the town, wait... maybe it was when I was scum and we were about to win in Eurodina, but Corny changed alignment from scum to neutral and outed the entire team to the townies... wait, I didn't like that one either. How about when Zepher outed himself as scum on Day 1 of Werewolf. That was classic. Tell me why you think Vanilla Townies are important or how they are most useful. - Vanillas can certainly accuse other players and gauge reactions, they are perfectly capable of analyzing voting patterns, they can take sporadic information to piece together who is scum. There's no reason a Vanilla can't be town leader. (6 steps in a Mafia application?) Give me your word that you'll participate in whatever crazy concoction I've doctored to avoid the meta-gaming. It will take everyone's cooperation and to operate on their honor. No meta-gaming!? What a rip! I suppose I can agree to whatever system you've got concocted. In oher words, Hells yes, I'd love to play.
  21. That's the second time today that you've tried to steer the lynch onto me, Zepher. I think I know where tomorrow's lynch vote belongs now. But we still have to vote today. Redblade has been pinging scum to me for days now, but therir hav been better candidates over the past few lynches, so now it is finally time. Vote: Li'l Capt. Redblade (Capt. Redblade)
  22. 7754 - Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Home One There are many issues with this one. First, all stickers are missing. General Madine has the wrong Head and Torso Print. Lando Calrissian has the incorrect Head and Torso print. Mon Mothma has the wrong Torso and the wrong Minifig Hair. Admiral Ackbar has the wrong Torso print. The Mon Cal officer has the wrong Torso print. The Tridax Pod halves that make up the Death Star hologram aren't in LDraw, so I used a 52 mm Technic Ball instead.
  23. I just wanted to let everyone know I am going on a business trip next week, so my posting time is going to be reduced. I'll still be able to post, just not as frequently as I normally do.
