  1. Kiel, some of those are looking good. All in good time... ISN'T IT EXCITING!?!?!?!?!?!?!
  2. Sorry to tease, but once you guys see these things, you are gonna want MORE than just the battle packs! That's all I can say right now. And no, I DO NOT have any pics!
  3. WOW! Bold statement! Since I see KimT reading this right now, I'm gonna let him answer this one.
  4. I can understand having post counts, it definitely shows what members are posting on the site. It also shows who is making tons of posts. As for a status symbol, I guess. I always figured members would want to be remembered for what they say and what tags and titles they were given. Quality vs. quantity in my eyes.
  5. I'm sorry, but I gotta ask...What does it matter how many posts you have?
  6. Anyone gives this guy any shit, they gotta deal with me!

  7. Ah yes, the dotted sleeveless t-shirt, the spaceman on the white torso with green arms, the black fedora hats...all you gotta do is ask. Most any LEGO employee will run in back and grab a few of what you need.
  8. I'm gonna call you out on that one. One minifigure consisted of 5 parts at the store near me, and they were all supossed to be different figures. 22 huh? Really, and the store near me has really good pieces. The new female torso with the Magenta ascot from the Grand Emporium, the red ninja torso, and the chef torso are just a few examples. None of those look like cheap parts. Nor do the ninja heads with the headband. Ask the associates people.
  9. Heck No! You're the customer, ask away! The worst they can say is no. But most LEGO employees I know will do whatever they can to help out the customer.
  10. Actually, Murfreesboro is home to one of my favorite places...Bumpus Harley Davidson. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. Unfortunately, I wore out my shirt from there, so it might be time for another trip back. As to a LEGO store in Murfreesboro, I wouldn't hold my breath. I've found that LEGO stores tend to pick their malls based on traffic volume, and I don't mean cars. If there are tons of people and big name stores, then the odds are fairly good that you might see one in the future. I'm sure LEGO would love to get their feet into every state, but they just have to play it smart and safe. Being that I'm in the Chicagoland area though, I shall keep my ears open and if I hear anything, I'll let you know.
  11. Just watched the video and that is really cool. I love how the cockpit comes all the way down to the ground level so the pilot can enter his ship. The color scheme is AWESOME! The spinning intakes were a nice addition also. This looks to be one solid ship!
  12. Great small cruiser! Very smooth lines, simple color scheme, but it works very well. Interesting deal with the cockpit. Looks like it has a glass bottom also? Nice blend on the standard parts and Technic pieces.
  13. Awesome build Dave. All of those creative little bits really add to the overall scene, and you have just the right amount. Nice work on the mountain too.
  14. Thanks for clearing this up Beatnik!
  15. Pretty sweet that Canada finally has a store. I'm guessing you guys will all b e getting things about the same time we do here in the states. A little note on PAB though...give it a few weeks, and then eventually find out who the person is in charge of the PAB. When new stores open, they like to keep everything simple and keep the PAB on auto-replenishment. That means when they inventory out a box of something, another box of something is sent. As stores begin to function more on their own and employees know what they are doing, whoever is in charge of PAB can start to request specific items from what is available. Online and instore PAB are different though, so don't get overly excited yet. And Legonater, hoses and boulder pieces haven't been seen in a PAB wall since...? 6x8 ramps were available in Blue and Black, but I haven't seen them in almost a year. Be specific too, helps others know what you are talking about.
  16. WOW! You're serious? All I bought was some bulk brick.
  17. I check it every once in a while to see who has been stalking me!

  18. Merged. As Rook said, let's use the search function first please.
  19. I couldn't agree more. If I am entertained, then it was a good movie.
  20. I shall swing by tomorrow after work and see what's there still. Also found my camera cable, but I'm too tired to upload all of my pics to Flickr. I'll try to get a few photos for you Norro. Saw you called earlier, I was just in a movie at that time.
  21. LEGOLAND DISCOVERY CENTER in Schaumburg Illinois has a deal! They have the Vintage Minifigure Collection, Volume 3 in stock. You all know the figs right? -Yellow Spaceman -City Chef -Western Cavalry General -Black Falcon Soldier -Imperial Bluecoat Soldier (w/ Unprinted Shako and Red Epaulettes) I guess they are having a tough time moving them. So...they put the figures from Vintage Minifigure Collection, Volume 3, into a bin on the counter and are charging $2 each. That's right, $2 for each figure. Go look on Bricklink, you'll see how good a deal this is. I just bought a ton of Bluecoats and Black Falcons, but from what it sounds like, they have plenty left still. Not sure how long this will last, but I figured I would drop a line here to let everyone know. Good Luck!
  22. Maybe LEGO is just doing really well at keeping any other new releases a secret?
  23. If people posted this kind of stuff all day, the servers would overload. We really don't need play-by-play on what happens to your LEGO bricks, ok? Closin' this thing up.
  24. This thread is for the Epic Scenes Contest; Rules and Discussion. No where does it say 'play by play commentaries on voting' or 'arguments back and forth between members'. Maybe he can't. but I can.
