Um, I've seen the original movie... from 1953... it's supposed to be the same story with (obviously) better special effects... so I won't ruin it for you ;) Life is Good.

It better be... considering the hype so far... they have been building it up to be epic, if it falls short, it may end up an epic disaster... although, I always give Steven Spielberg the benefit of the doubt... that man is a master of his craft... Life is Good.

Is it just me, or do those "axes" look like they can be removed from the rods? If they are, they look like they could be attached to any color rod... which is great for a customizer :-D Life is Good.

Like my fellow TIE pilot xwingyoda, I have over 300 CDs, & although I have a list of them available (for insurance purposes ;) ) I will not add that kind of length to this post :-D it would seem a bit much... I have many Punk & Ska CDs, as well as many other genres... I pretty much like everything... Life is Good.

They look nice. Although, I'll have to go with phes & say that the colors of the buildings clash quite a bit (especially the one on the left). Life is Good.

Ahh, very good observation phes... :-D My only Crossbone Clipper was built that day as well, although my daughter didn't seem to like it that much... she loved the Renegade Runner, so it seemed strange, but I can't complain, I think she has good taste... ;) Life is Good.

We have a Beagle... & her & LJ (the ferret) play a lot... it looks like it wouldn't be a fair fight, but you'd be surprised how well LJ holds his own... :-D Life is Good.

... and a long build. Took me some hours (guess I'm rusty) ;) PS: The XXL Crane doesn't take that much time, by the way... PPS: No pic of the completed model (yet) cos my camera broke just as I wanted to photograph it :( But I guess everybody knows what it looks like anyways (one could almost consider another pic of a(n) SES spam ;) ) It took me about an hour & a half to build the SES (with my daughters help, of course ;) ) Although I had spent hours just previously building the rest of the fleet (BSB, Carribean Clippers x2, Renegade Runner, RBR, & the Armada Flagship ;) ) ...I wouldn't consider another pic of the SES as spam, it is one awesome ship... Life is Good.

Have some optimism for the future my friend ;) I am hopeful that TLC will get their collective heads 'out of the sand' & create new innovative & original themes & sets... I can hope can't I?... :-D Life is Good.

If they are accurate in the assumption that the sets are "95-100" % there, then you got a GREAT deal my friend... :-D Now if you'd ever like to part with those Pirate or Castle sets, I be more than happy to take them off your hands ;) Life is Good.

I agree! This year and next year are sure to be great, and I'm positive we haven't seen or heard all of early 2006 yet... Thanks for the assurance, & I have my fingers crossed for better Castle sets & *in a perfect world* system Pirates :-D :-D Life is Good.

It was actually two people who helped me out... a friend in the cold North of Canada (the Castle sets), & a newly found friend in Arizona (the Schooner & Flagship)... & yes, they are all in immaculate condition (except the Drawbridge, which is in 'played with' condition let's call it ;) I traded many minifigs (mostly SW) for the ships & some SW sets for the Castle sets... Mal loves the Schooner, but she is quick to point out that it is "still not as big as mine" :-D Life is Good.

It just keeps getting better & better... Hopefully LEGO can keep this up for many many years :-D Life is Good.

The decals look great & the feet were a brilliant idea (how they were made), although the head could use much more improvement... it looks too rough... just my 2 cents... Life is Good.
