  1. in a word, "yuck"...
  2. I would say it was tacked on there to make it more acceptable...I can't imagine TLG sponsoring this type of thing... perhaps I am wrong though... it can happen...
  3. I spend time with my wife and our daughter (& our beagle ;) )... I love that kid... Life is Good.
  4. All my TIEs are 'at the ready' awaiting your command...
  5. vader316- Count me "in". I enjoy surprises...
  6. yes, but that means that we have to give LIFE to them. allow them to step into the world to become cannon fodder, pirates, innocent civilians, and whatnot! not just letting their souls ROT and be WASTED! we should give these poor figs LIFE! *picks up fig from recently purchased set* ITS ALIVE! :-D ;) Yes, it is true, we must release them from their prisons & give them LIFE!... which is why I cannot bear to leave any sets I have MIB... Life is Good.
  7. true, if they just want a ZCredit Card number, it must just be for verification purposes only... *wacko*
  8. I keep getting free offers like a free computer from Dell, a $500 gift certificate to Baskin-Robbins (man thats a lotta Ice Cream :') ), and others...the only catch is I have to sign up for "great" offers and buy DVDs, CDs, magazines, or other things... and give my credit card number... I wish I wasn't so skeptical... Life is Good.
  9. Does this qualify me? I would like to have a future that is "a hell of a lot of fun" ;) I have more TIEs now too... I have always wanted to throw them at certain peoples... Life is Good.
  10. This is wrong on so many levels... aside from the obvious reason, it is also wrong because the creator actually disfigured LEGO bricks to build it!! Look at the roof on the towers... Just to clarify, I do not agree with this "creation" at all, it actually sickens me that someone created it... Edited by DoubleT You know why ;)
  11. There's something awfully familiar about those e-mails you have received.... me thinks you are not the only one to have received them ;) Life is Good.
  12. Each LEGO minifig has a soul, that has to be it... & TLC does not like to put too many souls in one box...
  13. One word, two syllables. Now all we have to do is wait for Webster to add it... Life is Good.
  14. Thank you all, I figured some would remember me from other sites ;) & jonfett, I believe we did a deal quite a while back involving some Castle minifigs for Stormies or Clonies, I can't remember which... but thanks again! Life is Good.
  15. i vote for me... or do i?
  16. Ras 74- Nope, I still have many more of my SW sets available...but I prefer to trade them for LEGO Castle & Pirates...interested? LMK ;) Life is Good.
  17. My 'addiction' actually began back in 1989, when I received these two sets for my birthday: 6054 Forestmen's Hideout 6077 Forestmen's River Fortress It was then that I began to buy all the LEGO Castle sets I could afford at the time... I also got into the Pirate line during that same year, buying the 6270 Forbidden Island set (among others)... I went into a 'dark age' after graduating from HS in 1993 (am I that old?), although I did keep all of my LEGO, I did not remove them from their rubbermaid prisons for some time. Everything changed when the LEGO Star Wars theme was introduced. That got me interested in getting LEGO again, I had bought/acquired almost all of the SW LEGO sets up until the Episode II sets... it was then I began releasing my old LEGO Castle & Pirate sets from their rubbermaid prisons, and it rekindled my love for the Classics. Ever since then, I have been trying to get all of the LEGO Castle & Pirate sets I can get. Although, I have neglected to buy any of the newer ones because I am truly unimpressed with the direction TLC has been heading with them. So I depend upon bricklink, eBay, and other people to help me feed my 'addiction'... & it has been working well so far ;) Life is Good.
  18. Sent you an e-mail... I think we can help each other out ;) Life is Good.
  19. I mistakingly came upon this site via a person trading items on brickshelf, and I just had to register... I have been a regular in the forums at fbtb.net, Classic-Castle.com, & PirateBricks.com...all by the same username... so for those who know me "hello", for those of you who do not, "hello" also ;) A little about me, I am 29, married, and we have a 4-year old daughter (who refers to our LEGO as "blocks" still, shes such a cutie...). I have been collecting the wonderful brick since I was first introduced to it when I was a young lad. I am a collector of both the LEGO Castle & LEGO Pirate lines. I love them both. Although, the ones I collect are not being sold in stores anymore, I have managed to build an extensive collection of each. I had been collecting the LEGO Star Wars line for a while, but I have decided to just focus on the classic Pirate & Castle lines from now on... so if any of you out there want to trade your Castle & Pirate LEGO for my SW LEGO, I'm your man... A word of caution, I will be lurking here from now on... Life is Good.
