I used to use Flickr like a portion of the Lego community. Then I took bad updates to the knee. Around five or six times. Super excited about Quest #100

Sarge sat there considering names for his children. Well not literal children but the gloves hanging from his belt were all he had. All the family he had that did not nag him at the very least. He had lots of those. Nonetheless he had scoffed at names such as Shield-Braker and Aberystwyth. The name reflected the merc. Shieldbraker-owners would be goodie-goodie-two-shoes and Deathbringer-owners imaginative midgets who were about to visit the morgue. Deciding on a name he nods smugly and renames the demonic scissors; Zoidberg Gauntlets. Heck yeah. With that he checks the questboard and hurries off to the library.

I just realised that the demonic scissors were not, infact like scissor daggers but like zoidberg claws.

You would not believe how long I have been waiting for someone to say that. No. THIS. IS. LEEROooooooy Mh'Jenkeeeeens! But seriously the Space Dolphin Machine gun uses Space dolphins. And it's a machine gun. This is a heat seeking self propelled Laser shark lock-on targeting system. It calls down a Laser shark air strike. But form the sea.

That's what I was thinking about. That and in the southpark game where you have to recruit the goth kids and other factions to fight for you. Maybe I'll get a more refined idea together and save it for when we need something like that. Ok then, guild rep would be a little too needlessly complex and flawed. Thanks for the criticism

I have been thinking for a long while about some sort of in-Heroica guild/faction/clan system. A group of players could register/form a guild and each character would take heraldy or a title related to that guild. The guild itself could have a reputation with the six houses depending on what the players do. The guilds could have some sort of guild statistics labeling the reputation and perhaps a guild bank in which players could share items i.e Player 1 leaves this item in the guild bank then goes on a quest, and then player B returns from a quest, takes the item out and deposits some spare loot. A sort of Party outside a quest. Guild champions could compete in the arena for prestige ( A Heroica arena tournament would be awesome ). Guilds could achieve points like the ones in Historica and could spend those points on small buffs for guild members. Guilds could also have member ranks. I'd love to see an idea along these lines implemented and would be more than willing to manage it. If anyone would like to expand on those loose ideas that'd be nice.

That reminds me of the day we tried to start a Knights of the round table faction. If that had worked it would have been pretty cool.

I have conspirator lying around so anyone who wants that, I'll sell it to. Also, not enough people for quest #100 thit means the date's gonna be pushed back until more people, more competition for a place, come and signup. Also, Is anyone else noticing a load of Xbox One ads on the forums?

Around 10 months, with a lot of luck. Let's not forget the OP mess that was Sarge at level 16. A moment of silence for that battle that Sandy balanced that the party of #74 decimated I can't wait for quest 100, providing I get onto it. A little thing is that I may be slightly stretched for time for the next week or two, exams and such but I should still be active. EDIT: I GOT A TITLE!!!

Believe me, I have around 1000 quest ideas. But I'm away from my bricks so....

I generally, have a few ideas on random mechanics that no doubt have lots of holes in them that I have not forseen but here they are: Backpack limit! I don't know, but seeing people with no visible backpack carrying 1000's of items just feels wrong to me. An inventory limit (Perhaps with an accompanying heroica bank for the excess items, that cannot be accessed on quests? I wouldn't mind helping with that...) might be good without complicating things too much whilst at the same time adding a level of strategy and planning Non-combat classes: I do realise that Heroica is a mercenary organisation but it'd be cool to roleplay a pack merchant or something. I dunno. A crafting system: Self-explanatory. It'd be awesome. Maybe contained within the class system i.e alchemists can mix potions out of battle using ingredients. Artisan could craft weapons. etc. We gotta remember that one day.... One day. I will come up with a good idea.

That is true, I have been separating the roleplay from battles. I do still find that long battles bore the hell out of me. Not battles requiring strategy. Not hard battles. Long battles. This is just personal opinion but you hear so much of it because I'm presumptuous enough to rant. Sorry about that.

I've also noticed that when there are less people in a party, our heroes actions seem more profound.
