    I think we should make battles slightly more challenging, but not by making the enemies harder and more abundant, because that's power creep. Because I'm getting to a stage where battles are feeling mostly the same. I take special damage? Big whoop I can take a potion or a remedy. I get knocked out? Pheonix essence, easy. Battles seem to stretch on much longer than I feel necessary. Combat might benefit from fighting low-health high level enemies. Take a boss, make it rather powerful then stick it on 500 health, and we have an intense battle that's exciting and doesn't last too long. However I have no experience at balancing, and running battles so this is mainly speculation at cause and effect.

    Read the first, huge post in Rules and FAQ. That explains most everything. Then the Library topic explains lore, the embassy explains the races and the theatre on how to roleplay. Put your name down for a quest when there's another one on and hopefully you should get picked, and then put what you've learned from reading the Rules and FAQ. I myself have been playing heroica for around 18 months, and it's been going for about 30 months or so.

    Had we ever brought up the topic of creating a Heroica battle calculator? So you'd input all the hero's stats, actions and enemy stats and it'd run the rounds automatically.

    And Sarge wants to know what the devil a devil is? I mean, it's not as if he could find out by looking it up in the library, he's on a quest. And besides, when he's not he spends all his time at the bar.

    Luckily, from all the Quests I haven't done over the years I have amounted a small collection of sets that will make future quests easier.

    Don't talk to me about rendering. I want to physically murder the people who make POV-Ray. And also LDD because Max graphics aren't available for a 4Gb graphics card apparently! But I'm getting the sets done faster than with real LEGO because there's less looking-for-parts involved Still. POV-ray always sets the camera to the back of the MOC and I can't set it otherwise.... But my quest should be ready pretty soon as long as I don't get distracted.... Which I will.

    Deus Ex remake? I think that's been in the run for a long while. I too try to make quests but I have an awful attention span and am in a dark age of lego, so whenever I plan something I'll look at someone else's quest and want to copy that. But I do have something very simple in the works.
