Glad that I'm Canadian. I'll be visiting the Edmonton Lego Store this New Years week and picking up these sets.

If the US doesn't get them till march. Does that mean Canada has to wait till march as well. Or do we get them in January like the rest of the world?

Any ideas about how the digital overlord came to be? And I'm totally getting that new Nya figure.

The only bad experience I've had with Bricklink was sometimes I've accidentally ordered a part in the wrong color. Mainly ordering Light Grey parts when I wanted Light Bluish Grey. My own fault but still worth mentioning.

Looking at the pic of the artwork. I can tell that's definitely Stormer freeze machine. I can see the arm with the fingers and the arm that connects to what you think is a wheel but is actually Stormer's mech's ice cannon. And looking in the pile of parts the heroes use this skeleton body from the castle themes. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=60115. A shame but its hidden by the armor so its not noticeable. The little Kaiju have the same function the mini visorak had where you can fling them by pressing down on them. The cockpit piece attaches to torsos via a ball socket.

Splitter beast come with dark grey bones in the second shortest size. Just what I need for my Stringer moc.

The legend beasts definitely look better than there preliminary pics. I know I'll be grabbing the lion and crocodile legend beasts. But only for the new teeth and claw pieces along with the mixels ball joints. I may even grab the wolf as well. I don't care much for the gorilla or eagle but I might get them if they go on sale. Still no pics of Lavertus' outland base. And is the lion head used on Shadowind the same one Lavertus has?

Not bad Jetrax but those T technic beams don't exist in yellow unless Evo Xl machine has some.

The lions don't have a female member either. Neither do the bears or beavers but those tribes haven't been in any sets as of yet.

You just gave me an idea when I get Jaw Beast, Flyer Beast and Splitter Beast.

I have made a moc of what parts the hero minifigures pieces are most like. I made Rocka since the head I used was most like Rocka's helmet Pieces used Ninjago Skeleton Body General Grevious arms TMNT Fishlegs legs Galaxy Squad Blue Robot Head Alien Avenger/Galaxy Patrol armor

Ok now that we have some finalized pics I can give my opinions on the sets Furno Jet Machine- Very cool design. It does remind me a bit of Breakout Furno but only cause of the jets. Furno appears to have the same storage capsule that Stormer, Rocka and Evo have in there mechs. The minifig is cool looking as well and the head is definitely Furno. Splitter Beast VS Furno and Evo- Very unique design with the 2 heads. I wonder if the teal head is the one that splits of its the orange head. Love the fact its using a street lamp for a weapon. Rocka Stealth Machine- This one is a hit or miss with me. While I like the parts it comes with the design isn't very good IMO. Also Rocka's helmet doesn't look very Rockaish to me. But is that a new trans green used or just the lighting on the picture? Flyer Beast VS Breez- This one is definitely cool. The teal black and yellow work well as a color scheme. The Breez minifigure looks ok though the helmet could be better. I like the idea for the jets on her legs just not the execution on how there built. And Flyer Beast using a radio antenna is hilarious Stormer Freeze Machine- Another oddity like Rocka. The ice weapon definitely reuses the ice pieces from Brain Attack Stormer. And I can't tell if the piece attached to them is new or not. It looks like the sword attachement piece that Furno Xl, Pyrox, Evo and Stormer used for there weapons but its going into the white turbine piece. Evo Xl Machine- Ugh what a mess. Its a great parts pack but the mech could be so much better. The legs need work and that trans green has to go. Wave in general. I like the beasts and Minifigures of the heroes are cool though there helmets could be better shaped like there breakout versions. The mechs are mostly good. The two new feet in the Beasts are great pieces. I'll be using one of them in my Skeleton Dragon design. What I'm getting Splitter Beast Flyer Beast Furno Jet Machine Rocka Stealth Machine Stormer Freeze Machine I'm passing on Evo Xl Machine. I might get Evo Walker once finalized pics are released but its not likely. I'll be getting Jaw Beast regardless.

What the megablock does that video have to do with Ninjago!

We should at least get minifigures of all 9 main heroes. Hopefully the summer wave will have Bulk, Stringer, Nex and Surge minifigs

Half Life 2 meets Pacific Rim?

Well if it is a new torso mold. I hope the chest armor is a separate piece. I really like the chest armor piece on the heroes and hope its a separate piece like the Chima armor. I really want to use it on my custom minifigure

I'm thinking the heroes are built like normal figs but there legs are connected with the same piece used on Darth Maul from the Mandalorian Speeder Set http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=13249. I think there arms are just new moulds of Minifigure arms. Like the mechanical one used in figs like Jack McHammer. I believe there hero cores are just 1x1 round plates with the H printing like the 2x2 round plate on Jet Rocka. I don't like that there still using all white hero cores for the heroes. But at least with minifigure scale its easier to replace them for some of the trans 1x1 plates. I won't judge the sets until I've seen better pictures. Also here are two ideas as how I'd imagine they would look like when animated in the tv show. Wouldn't a black painted version if the Pirate Parrot work better as Zane's Falcon than the Crow? Maybe even a repaint of the Seagull from the Collectible Minifgures line would look more like a falcon.

The bat does appear to be good. His weapon uses blue chi rather than red. Makes me wonder if the Rhinos will be bad? There good in the tv show but bad in the online game.

I agree with that. You wouldn't base the whole lion tribe as goofy if you only saw Leonidas right? I'm sure this bat is just the goofy one of the tribe.
