Well wasn't expecting official pics this soon. Time for some opinions Police Tribe: All 3 are unique new designs. Though the one I think is called Busto (Jail shaped one) stands out to me more than the others Castle Tribe: Wasn't expecting a horse shaped Mixel. Though the one I think is called Mixadel (The one with the catapult) definitely interests me more than the others Music Tribe: Really tired of more yellow mixels and Trumpsy looks like a Snax Clone. Tapsy is my favorite of the 3. I do think there tribe name is the Misicul Muxels and The Mixies is just there band name Firefighter tribe: Technically speaking these could be considered our water mixel tribe. The one with the ladder neck looks like a Lunk clone. The Hydrant one looks best to me Pirate Tribe: All 3 of these are really cool. I really love the Treasure Crab one. Though now I'm expecting a Ninja tribe in the future Dentist/Doctor Tribe: Well these are the most disappointing of all the Mixels I've seen. None of them stand out to me though since I have to get one of every new tribe member. I'm going for the one with the lamp for a head and the skateboard wheels I do love the new tooth piece and there finally bringing over one of the other 1x1 eye prints from the classic/supplemental sets Seeing we have offical pics of series 8. Are there any names floating about for them?

How much friction does this hinge brick have when its roughly new? I'm really loving this blade piece. I want to get a pair of them to see how'd they look on my Sigfig's battle axe. Speaking of Battle axes. Axl's visor just screams shovel knight to me. I had envisioned him as a white and silver being that wore the Ignika and wielded the staff of Artahka. I had made a moc of him before the reveal but scrapped it about a year later to make space for better mocs

Not really a minifigure part. But I really don't like the lego black spiders. They can look a bit realistic at a passing glance and they look really creepy in the lego games. Any other color there fine since real spiders aren't pure red or transparent but the black ones just creep me out

This is pretty cool. Love the staff design Though what is that part on the ankles? I doesn't look like any Lego part I've ever seen.

I'll probably only get onua and the creature of earth for there trans purple. Maybe lewa as well and probably kopaka and melum unity set. The others don't interest me so far. Maybe when offical pictures are released i'll change my mind.

I've come up with a mod that gives Vaka-Waka a way to remove the candies without having to turn them upside down. On the left is the original bottom design and on the right is the modified one. Well I got my Villain pack in the mail today. The paper cutout of the six golden masks with there elements looks really good underneath my mask suva. And now that I have the golden grinder mask. I can finally work on a moc I've had in the works since I saw that the mask was going to be in that color.

I'm a bit mixed on these sets. On one hand they have cool new parts. On the other there very different from there previous looks. I know that's expected. But being someone who loves the G1 Nuva for how they had roughly the same build to the G1 Mata but still had a somewhat new look. This radical change is a bit jarring to me. As for the sets themselves Onua- I wonder if the studs in his hammer are transparent purple. There doesn't appear to be any solid purple in his set and the studs purple matches Basher's purple ribcage on his shoulders. Onua's eyes are also now blue. Tahu- Not much to say on him except on his right shoulder the Gold skull villain armor doesn't appear to be attached to anything. Might be a CG error. The new flame piece is interesting. Might want to use that on Fire Lord Kopaka- I don't like the fact that he lost his shield for a blaster. The shield is what separates Kopaka from Tahu in terms of a sword wielding character Gali, Lewa and Pohatu- The pictures I'm seeing aren't as clear as the others so I can't give judgement yet. Though Lewa looks to have the Bohrok eyes in the new trans green color that the Protector of Jungle used. Pohatu's eyes are now blue and he might be using reddish brown instead of dark orange this time around. The creatures are the same. Until better pictures are released I'm reserving judgement Umarak- I do not like his antlers. His lower legs look like a mess with the back CCBS bone not even having armor. The only thing I like from this set so far is the Mask of Control and it doesn't even resemble the animation one as well as the Mask of Creation. Perhaps they just wanted to add more detail to it and the animation one will follow suit. But I'd like it more if it was the other way around. I do hope the new torso bone will be compatible with the gearbox from this year Unlike 2015 where I bought all the sets. I'll only be getting a choice amount of sets. Any parts that interest me I'll just order from lego or bricklink

I'd love to see a technic 1x1 brick with an axle hole instead of a pin hole.

I don't like old light grey cause in the wrong light it becomes hard to differentiate from the new light grey. Old dark grey doesn't have this problem.

Is there a color that a part has been made in that you absolutely despise. I personally hate that all future sets that use this part http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=6587&idColor=69#T=C&C=69 will always be in that dark tan color. I also hate the fact that this part http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=10288&idColor=11#T=C&C=11 was first made in dark brown and only Toxikita's Toxic Meltdown has had it in black. I also don't like that this part http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=15462&idColor=69#T=C&C=69 is in dark tan but I understand why as to not confuse it with the shorter grey version. Then there is always the red axles and blue pins debate. I personally don't mind blue pins. But I would like it if the the black axles made a comeback and replaced the red axles.
