Let’s be honest, that’s also a problem in this forum, although offenders often take a more ‘polite’ route to get their bigotry across. That used to be the case discussing gender representation in figures and sets, but more recently has been the case with ‘discussion’ around the #EveryoneIsAwesome set and #QueerEye. There are also some very unhelpful and outdated sexist, and ableist tropes trotted out frequently. In my experience this hasn’t always been moderated well, or indeed quickly enough - and I know of several members here who have stepped back from forums in the way you mention. One of the biggest problems in my humble, but absolutely non-apologetic, LGBTQ+ opinion is the silence from many, leaving it to a key few to counter if they have the energy, and the ‘both sidesing’ of issues or deeming things (namely human rights, and, y’know, actual existence and representation) as ‘political’, or just irreconcilable differences of opinion. That just screams privilege, and a deliberate misunderstanding of concerns.

The current ‘big beaked’ parrot mould is available in solid white and solid dark grey, as well as the three marbled options. I agree a hawk / falcon would be good to have, and a sitting eagle. Really wanna see the eagle in a ‘golden eagle’ variant too! We are still relatively-poorly served by birds in Lego form.

It is indeed interesting that a few animals get the ‘printed and not-printed’ variants, and owls seem to get lots of variety. By my reckoning the plain current owl now exists in white, tan, reddish brown and dark grey, as well as the gold flying owl. So many owl statues!

Not really, as it says ‘only’. To be honest, there are bigger issues of people being abusive in this forum and others than this alleged ‘slight’, as have just been raised.

As I’ve said before, the colour stuff is massively subjective. To me that is a very different colour from the new neon yellow, and is in fact closer to lime green 🤷🏽‍♂️

Couple of random questions… @Robert8 Have you been keeping track of how many of your ideas have shown up in CMFs (or elsewhere) along the way since you started? When you’ve completed the series of series, might you think about putting together group images of the various sub-themes you’ve explored (like Greek/Roman gods, figures based on historical people, costumes, etc)?

I think the existing ‘farmer’ hat could work for him. Have to say I’m not that bothered about Indy getting a hat with hair piece, but it’s a minor point anyway. Exciting that these are happening!

The answer is a big shrug. We know there’s not always a logic to how it happens. I’d suggest checking if they’ve gone up, but don’t get your hopes up that they definitely will.

Yeah I saw that pic too - pretty potato-camera quality. Couldn’t make out what the reused watermelon / pizza costume was at all. I thought it may be a pie or a sandwich slice 🤷🏽‍♂️

I’d be happy with Muppets & Marvel. HP stuff is getting a bit ‘meh’ for me, and Marvel continues to churn out lots of content via its streaming shows & movies I do wonder what a fourth 2022 series could be? I’d like it to be DC, but I also kinda like when they surprise us with something

Ooh nice - where’s this torso from? The current parrot exists in plain white, and in dark grey … and the chicken exists in some plain colours too. They are quite rare things these days though.

You Amerrycans do know that your school buses are pretty unique, right? Agree though - a better such bus in a standalone set would be a great idea, I think.
