Agreed. with you on Michelangelo though - so many missed opportunities with the ‘cameos’ in the Lego movies
-
In all honesty - I have no idea why these legs haven’t been more commonly used in figures. Even unprinted would be great.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Yeah I dunno. Confusing times. -
I would love that. Think it would give Lego some great opportunities to do things like small fun builds and scenery they otherwise wouldn’t - such as western and desert.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 22. Rumors and discussion

I’ve bought and gifted hundreds and hundreds of CMFs, from series 1 onward, and that simply hasn’t been my experience at all. -

It might be confusion with the CMFs now being orderable in sixes? -

Have been wondering about the new toucan showing up just when the Disney Encanto movie (set in Colombia, featuring some toucans) came out. It’s *such* an adorable Lego animal, I wonder if a recolour for the species in the movie (keel billed, with a lime green beak and yellow chest) might happen. I know, I’m greedy.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 22. Rumors and discussion
williejm replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I know it’s nit very normal shopping conditions - but for those that have found boxes, have you noticed any figures that seem to have been popular / cherry picked? - from my (admittedly low) sample, the ones that seemed to have been taken, by luck or choice, were the two costumed characters 🌶🦝 -
That’s an impressive selection of options - though I still can’t stop myself wanting to switch parts around 😜

Word. Also I just want more Egyptian and Scottish figures across the board … Sounds like you could do a polling game to find out the fan favourite of your series @Robert8
-
Totally my two favourites too, and figures we *should* have gotten

Loving your retrospective reviews @Karalora - it’s a nice fun way to look back through all these. There’s SO much content in this one thread

That is so helpful, and so detailed! -
That’s not a ‘real’ animal, it’s attached by a pin like an adornment on the hat (and is relatively very small), like a bow or feather would be

We haven’t got them yet! Other things like pigeons, badgers and lions (the latter of which we now have) showed up in Lego digital media before real life

Yeah I think since they teased us with a few like Medusa/Poseidon/Cyclops they’ve been a bit slow in delivering others. Meanwhile Playmobil has a whole series of Olympian gods and greek mythology sets. Would love to see a ‘myths and legends’ type theme in Lego too.
-
Which makes me wonder how complete the Olympian roster will be by the end … By my counting we effectively already have Poseidon and Athena in official CMFs, and your designs give us Artemis, Hades, Apollo, Zeus, Ares and Hermes … as well as a slew of corresponding mythological characters like the Nymphs, Centaurs, Siren, Arachne, Cupid, Muse, Icarus, Ocean Warrior, Trojan … I would *love* a dedicated series of such figures, and have been thinking of doing a figbarf series or two of Gods & Monsters.

Managed to get my hands on these today - a great series with some amazingly detailed parts and figures. Having them ‘in hand’ often makes me reevaluate figures I have already seen online - and to that end I would say I think the Snailien is an amazingly-imagined and well-designed figure, and the Troubadour/bard is delightful in real life. My favourites though are the girl with foal, the birdwatcher, Snow Warrior and the wheelchair athlete. Accessory wise - I think the new toucan is sublime. For such a small part, to have triple moulding and crisp printing like that is amazing. It might just be my new favourite Lego animal (at least until I get my hands on some pesky squirrels…) Only one downside I would say is that the raccoon costume NOT having a striped tail is odd. That is such a key part of a raccoon, and we have already seen that tail piece get printing in other figures.
