  1. Well that is just *rude*
  2. Did the leaked / rumoured pink trans ‘axolotl’ ever show up in any Dreamzzz sets?
  3. Depending on how easy the figure is to get, though I doubt it’d be Beastmaster equivalent!
  4. You jest, but way back when one of the CMFs (the series 5 boxer, unless I’m misremembering) mentioned a ‘boxing kangaroo’ in their bio (yes, they used to have little bios) … and there was then intent speculation that we should see one as a CMF.
  5. Bet they’re hopping mad about it
  6. Having those two but NOT a kangaroo is just *rude*
  7. Each of the wildlife sets came with a unique map - so the sets with the red panda, gorillas, crocodiles, and the tiger.
  8. The existing tile maps from the sets featuring wildlife, and extrapolating the route from the ones we have
  9. Both? Both. Both is good! Would also be an ideal place to reuse the eagle mould. Yaks, like donkeys, llamas and camels, would be great - we have so few of the so-called ‘beasts of burden’ in Lego form. (and those we do have are very Europe/N America biased)
  10. Yes. Historically many have, just never quite in a way that lets you do the whole figure at once Oops. My bad. I thought you meant BAM i think Bricks & Pieces only ever has parts that also show up in sets
  11. I admire your consistent passion on this topic - but experience would tell us that Lego never fully completes anything we want it to! I can see them revisiting Africa and giving us a giraffe and baby, a zebra and maybe a meerkat. It seems so likely that lions, monkeys and crocs would be reused, so they wouldn’t *need* to give us lots of new critters to flesh out a theme. That said, I’d totally *love* something left-field like a secretarybird, or a honey badger! We are way overdue for some sort of ‘Outback’ theme. It would be an easy way to shoehorn in different vehicles in a new colour way, and get a lot of mileage with just a couple of new animal moulds. Given that cockatoo and koala exist, and that snakes, spiders & crocs are all likely to be reused in such a theme, I’d expect just something like a kangaroo and it’s joey, or at a push a kangaroo and a platypus or a lizard of some description. They could also have some sea/reef based sets with sharks as part of the theme easily. *slams doors* *throws things* Maybe it was on purpose to teach us to strike while the animal mould is still hot I do wonder how they would do a giraffe, in terms of poseability. Ideally most folk would probably hope for moveable legs, neck and head, but recent big animals have tended to have solid bodies. I think the most likely option would have a moveable neck and head, similar in some ways to the brachiosaurus, but without the need for a moveable jaw. I guess there’s also a possibility that, given the new wolfs & foxes, there’s a pro-wild dog agenda being pushed by Lego, and maybe an Outback theme could throw up some dingoes, a desert theme give us Fennec fixes, or an African visit give us some Hunting dogs… … sorry. Getting carried away.
  12. I was lucky enough to score some camels when they were freshly out, and some ostriches too - with both of the smaller sets they came in for Prince Of Persia on clearance. Kinda crazy that they were both just used that one time. Little did we know … at the time it seemed like a whole new Lego animal world was opening up quickly, but then they dried up again.
  13. Looking back it certainly was a weird time when those were the only animals! Someone somewhere at Lego seems to be deliberately plugging some of the gaps in long-wanted critters - here’s hoping that continues in the next few years 🦒🦘🦆🦫🦙🦝🫏🦬🦓
  14. Have seen the pics inside the Animal Crossing museum now. I honestly couldn’t call the colour of that scorpion from those pics! Does seem like we are getting the coral piece in a new colour (purple) though.
  15. I think it’s a combination of ‘make people buy whole sets’ and ‘because they can, and people will pay it’. Increased prices on B&P means also increased prices in after sales markets like Bricklink. I think the argument that some animals are costly because of multiple colours in mould and printing is not reflected in how they are then prices on B&P, plus it’s blown out if the water when something like a cockatoo appears in BAM stations. When the dual moulded sheep first appeared in B&P it was fairly reasonably priced, and in keeping with tiger single mould animals. When the goat bowed up, it cost about three times the price, despite being one colour mould. Now we see the sheep reappear and conveniently have a prude point similar to the goat … £££ Let’s see what happens with the wolf. Lego *know* it’s going to be a desirable animal, and people would want more than one. If they were a couple of pounds/euros I can see people buy them in bulk: if they are five or six, I can see people just buying one.
  16. Ooh nice spot. I’m hoping they visit ‘mountains’ so we get snow leopards, and maybe a wild goat like an ibex, and then down to the grasslands for either giraffe or kangaroo 😂 My only gripe with the animal maps is that I’d have preferred they stayed in one continent, or travelled coherently. But I guess geography works different in Lego
  17. Ah okay, haven’t seen those images. Dark red, if memory serves, was only with the CMF mummy, so it’s still a pretty rare colour for the scorpion. 🤓
  18. Where do you see the scorpion? From the pic the bulldog is definitely different from the one we have - the white patch on face is bigger, and seems to extend above and around the eyes. Waiting to see better pics of the pigeons in real life, been fooled by renders before! To me it would seem odd to produce the mould with a dual mould meaning it couldn’t be produced in a plain white ‘dove’ version. But Lego logic is confusing sometimes …
  19. You may need to remortgage
  20. So what’s the tally so far? new fox mould new pigeon mould new shepherd/wolf pup colour wolf in a City set (so it will presumably now be on Bricks & Pieces) new (unprinted) snail piece in Animal Crossing I can also see reuse of the light grey shark, dark grey kitten, orange fish & yellow crab. Tangential to animal chat, but there are also some of the ongoing ‘mini collections’ being added to. More ‘chonky’ cats in the Friends sets, new shields across Friends & Creator sets, and more variant prints of the ‘squishimal’ soft toy introduced in the last CMF. The existing plain hobby horse head also shows up again. Oops - also new bulldog print coming in the Privet Drive (another difficult-to-get dog via HP 😡)
  21. It’s the existing grey kitten
  22. It can be hard to tell with these renders, I’d say it’s dual moulded and only the eye is printed. Yay for wolves & recoloured pup (which, honestly, I think works fine). Slightly dissapointed that the wolves still have the ‘angry’ eyebrows, and assuming that this means they are identical to the CMF wolf: if you look closely there are inconsistencies in the render pics with the grey printing on the muzzle - sometimes it’s there, sometimes not Yes. Thought we had established that? Still seems slightly odd to me to have wave that gives us both though I take it nothing of note has surfaced in any Dreamzzz sets?
  23. Unicorn yes, foals with wings attached, no.
  24. No, it looks like the two ‘Pegasus’ foals are the existing foal we have, in new colours. It’s a dual moulded piece: the body is one colour, the mane and tail another. The ‘Unicorn’ is new, and I assume it’s all so dual-moulded, for the mane and tail to be different colours as the existing foal. It also has a hole in the forehead for the horn attachment, but the mane doesn’t look different in the photos we have seen - just that it’s down one side of the neck.
  25. The new pear is cute. Not sure about the snail … as far as I can see the other animals are all reuses. The unicorn horn looks detachable, though I wonder why they bothered with that, unless they have other plans for the mould & connections
