  1. I think it's safe to say that the new Death Star won't have the Emperor's throne room like the last one did since the Final Duel set's still out. So that should at least free up space for some new stuff (or the expansion of old rooms).
  2. These look fantastic! I already like this series more than Series 15. Series 15 wasn't bad, but it took a bit of getting used to for me. I liked these right when I saw them. I agree that the "Banana!" printing on the Banana Suit Guy sort of ruins it a bit, but I do like the sunglasses. I like that the Penguin Suit Guy and Devil Guy are our first child costumed characters too. Are we sure the Ice Queen doesn't use the new dress piece?
  3. I just hope we get the Death Star this year. I'm guessing it was originally supposed to be a 2016 set, but since Assault on Hoth was delayed by about 7 months it's likely the Death Star could have been pushed back to 2017. Are we getting the UCS Snowspeeder before the Death Star?
  4. Wasn't it basically confirmed she was a Dimensions pack? I remember one of Just2good's hints about her involving the word "GO", and we're getting Teen Titans Go Dimensions packs, so it seems like that's a sure thing to me at this point. Plus, it was mentioned that we'd get her in a way that not everyone might expect, and we know all of the normal system sets we're getting in 2016 now, so all it can really be at this point is Dimensions.
  5. It's good to hear that the recall rumors were false. I can't even imagine what the Shark Guy's price on the aftermarket would be if that happened. Wrestler, Winged Warrior, Kendo Fighter
  6. Even though I prefer the molded head, I'm happy that we're at least getting a different version of Buzz. I would have preferred a different character altogether, but if we're going to get Buzz again, then I think this was the best way to do it.
  7. The Toy Story alien's disappointing since he was pretty common from the Toy Story theme (I have 3 of him), and it's odd how they gave Buzz a normal head amongst all of the other molded heads, but I think they all turned out pretty good. Minnie's skirt looks new... I sort of hope it's plastic and not cloth.
  8. That Unkar's Thug figure should have been included in the Encounter on Jakku set. I think that would have made it a bit more worth the $60 price tag.
  9. I love all of the different MCU easter eggs in the airport set (both on the briefcases and boxes). And that play feature with micro Ant-Man is really clever! I think the control tower and Giant Man are some of the best set components we've ever gotten from the Marvel line. I can't say the same for the Quinjet though, which is a shame since I think it's only really there to boost up the price.
  10. Apparently there's going to be a new TIE design in Rogue One, so I wouldn't put another TIE out of the realm of possibility. I'd be up for it as long as it's unique and something a bit different from the usual TIEs we've gotten lately.
  11. I agree. I really don't mind the color they used for Phasma. LEGO never uses chrome for figures that probably should be (like 3PO), but they still look okay. I think the May the Fourth figure should be something that hasn't been done before.
  12. Yeah, I don't think it's a coincidence that we've seen two new baby designs this year and then heard about a Babysitter figure coming up soon. If she didn't have a baby, then she might as well just be a random teenager or something. There isn't much of a point to have the figure unless she actually comes with a baby.
  13. Actually, I think the Hydra Fortress was revealed at the same time as all of the other Age of Ultron sets (in that catalogue). But still, this fourth Civil War set seems like it's almost definitely going to have Spider-Man, so the set's definitely going to be kept extremely close to LEGO's chest. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get pictures until a couple weeks before it comes out.
  14. As you can tell by my avatar, I think the Max Rebo figure's great. He's simple, yet fun and different from the usual Star Wars figure. I love the azure color as well. Another minifig that I think is pretty underrated is the General Krell figure. A lot of detail went into that guy despite him not being a major character or anything, so I really appreciated that.
  15. My favorite part of the planet sets was actually the planets themselves. I just thought it was awesome to have a fairly realistic looking globe of a Star Wars planet... and one that was made out of LEGO to make it even better. The builds were okay, and some of the figures like Lobot were definitely great.
  16. LEGO's been reusing lots heads and skipping on leg printing lately, but I'm pretty sure it's because they're sacrificing it for other things. While you have some figures with reused heads (Winter Soldier, Kraven, Captain Stacy), you get other figures with detailed printing all over and dual molded legs (Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Doc Ock). It's a shame that some figures like Black Panther don't get leg printing when they really need it, but I think LEGO has a limit with the amount of prints and molds they can do with a set or a theme as a whole.
  17. I thought Lor San Tekka had Aragorn's legs for a minute. As pointed out before, it's really funny how there's a fire extinguisher in that set. Don't worry, Quinlan and Luminara have neutral faces as well. I can't find them in pictures from this toy fair, but pictures from the Nuremberg toy fair showed their alternate heads.
  18. I actually really like the scaled down Ion Cannon and Shield Generator, but I think those would have worked better as their own cheaper sets. This set as a whole isn't really worth it. Most people who are still interested in Hoth stuff probably have all of the recent sets, so this isn't really anything new. I appreciate the amount of figures and Rebel soldiers that are included though.
  19. I seriously doubt that Encounter on Jakku's $80... I'll wait for official confirmation before freaking out about it. If it is, I'll eat my words, but I bet it's $50 to $60.
  20. I'm guessing Ahsoka's white lightsabers will just have translucent bar pieces for the blade... but I'm still excited for it nonetheless.
  21. I think you're right about the double sided head being the right way to go about it. Hopefully confirmation of her being in the Ahsoka set will come soon.
  22. The summer exclusive set for the last several years has been $90 (Sith Infiltrator, MTT, Palpatine's Arrest, etc.). If they really scale it down, they could possibly do a Blockade Runner at that price point. A Rebel Transport that's smaller than the Blockade Runners has also appeared a few times lately, so we could get that instead. I'm really curious how they'll do the Seventh Sister's helmet. It can retract open to reveal her face, but I don't think that would work if they did it like Iron Man's helmet. So I think her helmet would either be permanently opened or permanently closed.
  23. I agree that the Dog Show Judge is most likely the fifth female, but maybe it could be the Pirate or Cyborg instead? I've been expecting female versions of those for a while.
  24. AT-AT's will apparently be in Rogue One. I think Hasbro's making a toy of one. So I'm going to guess the largest set would be another AT-AT (I'd rather it not be that, but look at the amount of X-Wings we've gotten recently...). As for when we see Luke, if he isn't the May the Fourth polybag, we'll at least get a good look of how he'll probably look from The Force Awakens Video Game. I'm excited to see what other designs we'll see in the game that we haven't gotten physically yet (Rathtars? Guavian Death Gang? Aliens at Maz's castle?).
  25. The Fifth Brother looks great from what we can see of him so far. Does he have a new armor piece? At first I thought he reused the Grand Inquisitor's armor, but it looks like his could be new. Very cool.
