  1. The Second Legion of Ulandus was guarding the city of Northwall, but, although they were far above them, the Salamanders had long since discovered the mummies tunneling far beneath them... The extremely clever mummies - or at least so they thought themselves - had for weeks been tunneling under the walls, and, having now completed the passage, were going to take the Salamanders by surprise. However, to their own surprise and dismay, they found that the Second Legion had diverted the river and turned it into their tunnels - just one more reason why mummies can't stand water! An alternate view of the whole build: A pic of the tunnel, as you can't see it well with all the mummies in the way! I think this has been my biggest build for the challenge yet, and I don't know how I could make it bigger unless I had the Salamanders counter tunneling and blowing up the mummies' tunnel, but I figured we had seen enough flames and explosions for a while! This was also an extremely hinge-intensive build! I would like to receive UoP credit for: Architecture - wall techniques [3] I would choose J9 for the next WZ if I win. Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
  2. Excellent build Trance, fantastic job on the manor and landscaping, and the touch of rock-work is great! Superb work with the tree and chimney as well!
  3. Excellent build MassEditor, fantastic fig posing and great job on the wall and battering ram! The roof and portcullis are superb as well, and I really like the second to last picture! I agree with Kai though that its does seem a bit more like it is inside the city than outside, mostly because the wall extends straight out from the gatehouse. This is going to be an interesting battle to watch!
  4. Nice build Marcu, excellent job with the functioning trap!
  5. Good to see the HC isn't going to give up Eastgate without a fight! Nice build JS, great job on the barricade and fleeing horseman!
  6. Excellent build Robin, great texturing on the wall and I really like the tan inset! Nice work with the SNOTted border as well, great job repulsing those mummies!
  7. Fantastic build MassEditor, brilliant use of colors and great job with the fort and mountain! Excellent job with the layered sand near the water as well, this one is certainly going to be hard to counter! My only minor nitpick would be the trans-blue studs on the sides, which look a little odd when they are in piles like that - I think either spreading them out more or omitting them would have helped
  8. My counter to robuko's guerrilla on K15. We had to give them some time to catch up with us all, you know! (or maybe its just the calm before the storm! )
  9. Thanks for the comment and the tip Gideon, I'm glad you like it!
  10. I could do it for Ulandus By the way, the lieutenants could PM each other and set up the polls themselves (maybe alternating each week) and save you the trouble (even the WZs by themselves would be a lot of work!)
  11. Week Six Guerrilla Challenges: The following challenges have been made. Anyone may counter these Guerrilla Attacks, but remember each builder can only build one counter build each week, so pick wisely. If the challenger wins, they will earn 6 additional points. Each counter is worth 4 points. Voting will happen after the deadline. The winning side either retains the zone or captures the zone. If no one counters the challenger’s MOC, then the zone turns over to the challenger’s side, and they only earn 2 points. Counter builds should have a title with this tag in it: [CG: location, your faction vs the guerrilla's faction] IE: [CG:K15, U vs DK], Non Special Due Date: April 12th, anywhere in the world. Zone: H13 Challenger: Hammerhand What Faction can counter: Ulandus (One Counter Needed) Zone: C15 Challenger: Adair What Faction can counter: Desert King (One Counter Needed) Due Date: April 19th (Deep in enemy territory) Zone: A4 Challenger: LordDan What Faction can counter: High Council (One Counter Needed) Due Date: April 19th (Deep in enemy territory) Zone: K13 Challenger: MKJoshA What Faction can counter: Ulandus (One Counter Needed) Due Date: April 19th (Deep in enemy territory) Zone: L16 Challenger: MassEditor What Faction can counter: Ulandus (One Counter Needed) Due Date: April 19th (Deep in enemy territory) Zone: K19 Challenger: Tomsche What Faction can counter: Ulandus (One Counter Needed) Due Date: April 19th (Deep in enemy territory) Zone: O16 Challenger: Jacob Nion What Faction can counter: Ulandus (One Counter Needed) Due Date: April 19th (Deep in enemy territory) Zone: J16 + J16 Challenger: Kai NRG + Garmadon What Faction can counter: High Council (Two Counters Needed) Leftovers: Zone: K15 + K15 (Auner, worth 2 VP) Challenger: Jacob Nion + Robuko What Faction can counter: Ulandus (Two Counters Needed) Due Date: April 19th Zone: L15 + L15 (Boreasport, worth 2 VP) Challenger: Brick Man Studios + Umbra-Manis What Faction can counter: Ulandus (Two Counters Needed) Due Date: April 19th Zone: E2 + E2 (Eastgate, worth 2 VP) Challenger: Disco86 + Jacob Nion What Faction can counter: High Council (Two Counters Required) (Due Date April 12) Put together by the request of Ska. 12. Excellent build Marcu, very nice wall and fantastic work with the boiling pitch! As LJ said, great job on the pictures as well!
  13. Excellent entry Kai, great job on the wall's texture! Great story as well, those mummies... I hope so!
  14. Ha, ha, excellent counter Kai! Great job for a 4x4!
  15. Yes, I agree that the number of GA builds being done are quite out of control and it would be a good idea to reduce them to make the WZs more important... Sometimes one GA could clearly effect a complete square (e.g., MassEditor's or Jacob's Cyclops) but other times I wouldn't expect it to really be worth the whole zone - I'm not speaking of size but rather about the idea behind it. Reducing the number to one every two weeks would probably be a good idea - and make them easier to keep track of! - even though I certainly have been having fun building all of them! It would be nice to have a few weeks of advance warning (as Kai said) though
  16. Ha, ha, excellent counter Kai! Very nice catapult, I like the use of cows for pulling it as well!
  17. My counter to robuko's guerrilla on K15: Another Regrettable Incident
  18. Thanks Bregir! Oops! Well, that is probably why then! I was copying a three sail ship and one used two for the sake of space... I'll have to keep that in mind for next time! (So then it wasn't the captain's fault he ran down robuko's ship! )
  19. Thanks LJ, I'm glad you like it! Thanks Balbo!
  20. Yes, that's how it all began (with the treasure chest lids, that is) Thanks SK!
  21. Thanks Adair, In hope so! Ha, ha, yea right! Thanks robuko! Thanks Goliath! Thanks LV! I really like building ships at this scale - or at any scale, to tell the truth! Thanks Kai, glad you like it!
  22. To Ageven Deriam, Sixth Centurion of Ulandus, In the hand of Sir Uridius Dratiphe My dear Ageven, I hope you and your men are doing well despite the constant assaults perpetrated by the dastardly Desert King. All is well here, though even here the Desert King has been at work. I regret that I have to tell you of an attack upon the robust traders and shepherds of the area who prosper on the rocks and cliffs on the ocean side. Unfortunately a pirate, taking advantage of the confusion of the war, and flying the colors of "His Highness", went in for what he figured would be an easy raid. However, he seemed to have found it more difficult than he thought to attack the traders, and was already fleeing with all sails flying when our patrol ship came on the scene. Sadly, the pirate refused to heed the Captain's summons, and he (the captain, that is) ran him down, quite contrary to his orders. Altogether it is quite a regrettable incident, save for the traders, who enjoyed their bacon and hamburgers. Truly yours, Sir Uridius Dratiphe A picture of the pirate before he was run down My counter to robuko's guerrilla, thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome!
