  1. I must ask...What was the murdered maid's name? I suspect the give given for secrecy was the bracelet, unless the murderer took it back. He does have a tendency to take things (cutlass, pistol), so it's possible he's taken back the gift as well. As for a connection between the deceased...the maid did not serve on the train her whole life. It is possible she may have once been a servant for one of the deceased men.
  2. Of course, if it is true and the did PAY for the idea, then the company may not have known there was any wrongdoing in the first place. Shame for not checking it out thoroughly, but it is possible they were decieved. Especially by an American. ;)
  3. There isn't. JoJo posted it at CC asking the same question.
  4. To bring this back to topic, I played around with this a bit. There are a couple solutions I came to: 1 2 3
  5. Not that you boys would *ever* be caught dead buying clickits, the sets do come with a rather useful piece allowing stud-to-stud connections.
  6. Turned in that paper. Wasn't too bad, actually. Then we watched a cult film about a Launderette that I can't remember the title of. Mister Phes, you won't be scaring me away anytime soon. Don't assume I'm not here because I don't post. :)
  7. So in six pages this thread went from wondering where the female AFOL's were to giving advice on properly hunting one down for your own, with a small discussion of fishing in the middle. Okay. Fair enough. Want to know what a woman wants? Try asking her. ;)
  8. Thank you, jipay. I feel honored. One thing that lacks about about American boys--a true sense of tradition. Fortunately, my knight in shining armor is of French descent. Nice to see chivalry is alive somewhere. ;)
  9. Only if your surname is Donner.
  10. And Classic Castle. I lurk at Lugnet, too. you'll find I post very little, actually, unless I have something to contribute. Usually I'm rather quiet. But I am here.
  11. Jipay, it's really hard to leave the US without more financial backing. See, I qualify as a starving college student. I can drive anywhere in the US, but flying out of the country is a bit harder. No wax wings for me...I aim too high.
  12. Aye, Mr. Phes. But when was the last yee sailed aboard the Interceptor? She's a fine brig, that one...Her crew are just as full of salt as the next pirate. Please, do be careful climbing to the head...the engineer doesn't like what we might call, "Head Surgery." She battle's often with the Hawaiian Cheiftain--a fine looking tops'l Ketch. She's gone to colder waters, so comes the Bill of Rights and the Lynx to battle with her. There's a battle to behold. Either way man, Keep clear when the crew-in-training are playing their games...passengers are known to, uh, fall overboard. But they're rather good at teaching the bowline. You see, I have sailed aboard this ship you call the Interceptor. Three times have I graced her with my presence. And I shall again when she comes home for her summer maintenence. Her home port is but a three hour drive from my home. :-D
  13. Okay. So, apparently I'm supposed to introduce myself. So, I live in Seattle. I attend University. I build with Lego. I shoud be writing an essay on British Parliament right now, but hey. Don't really want to. I snowboard, I draw. Watch movies, read books, listen to music. I travel an awful lot. I've driven (yes, driven) to Kansas City, MO; Casper, WY, Northern California...I've been to Chicago, IL. I travel to Canada about once a year, seeing as it's only a 2 hour drive. Been to Sydney and Coolangata, Australia. Going to London, England this summer, as well as some tiny town in Alaska. Oh yeah. I'm a girl. One of few, I'm told. I build castle, primarily. I'm a history geek. Go Egypt. (Hapshetsut is the man! Er--queen. Yeah.) So, there ya go. :-D
  14. I was under the impression I had a say, especially if it involves me. Jipay, don't worry. My SO wouldn't like it. ;) Either way, Seattle is a lovely place. For the record, it's not raining. At all. We're actually in a rather bad drought. And furthermore, I do not like Clickits. The only set I have, I recieved in as a freebe in a BL order. That's gender stereotyping, that is! I admit--I'm a castle fan.
  15. I am from the states. A little place in the Northwest called Seattle. I am actually a female. I am a long time lurker and occastional poster at a few different LEGO sites. Yes, I actually am female. I have no reason to make boys who play with children's blocks look like fools. :-D Especially since I do, too.
  16. Yes, jipay. Last time I checked, I fell into the female catergory.
  17. Yes, we do lurk.
