Really nice ! Seems like operating this thing needs some muscles, a regulat plain yellow torso minifig couldn't.

Updated the lxf file...
-
It's the shape, due to the hinged wedges

Concerning Alderaan, I'd see it with a transparent mould printed with many asteroid, with Grand Moff Tarkin minifig and a mini death star 1

Mermaid would be cool! For the jellyfish this part(3898) could be used: -
After many decades of research, Empire's scientists have finally discovered a new way to achieve terrestrial transportation!! Obviously this publication is strictly confidential, to avoid the rebel alliance to get their hands on that technology. Any attempt to transmit information regarding this document is chargeable of death by distance force choking. Achieving lower energy consomption than the hovering, and better stability than bipedalism or even quadrupedalism, this marvelous discovery will revolutionize the life of billions of civilians across the galaxy.

Here is the lxf file, updated this morning. It is oversized, but it was difficult being to scale while keeping the overall shape. I'm quite happy how it ended, considering the time I've spent on it. Here is a closed picture, it's not perfect as you can see...

The set should include several amirals minifig...
-
It wasn't mean to be constructed, it was just to align the top with the bottom
-
Yes it closes, but some white is visible, so it's not perfect

Thanks all for your kind comments. I've spent msot of the day yesterday to create this one, that's why I've been lazy to add more detail to the interior (both the cokpit and the cabin) and to write a little back story. I wanted to do a civillian shuttle, predecessor to the lambda class, that's why the general shape and the wings are similar to the lambda. The windows on the side give the "school bus" look, perhaps I should have get rid of them. And this will be my last "daily MOC"... after 8 days, it takes me too much time.

Did this while watching Episode 5. As a bonus, here is a "behind the scene" pic

REally nice speeder. Maybe if the storage was higher, it'll look more like a pick-up?

[LDD MOC] Mandalorian heavy fighter

I don't plan to. I think cuuso is great for project like portal or space marines. Thank you Wedge09 I've been lazy for the hinged cockpit... At first the cockpit part was much longer, and a storage could have been added. But I was short on time since it's a daily MOC... so I had to skip details on this one Sadly I can't built it for real, but go ahead if you want -
Thanks all. It's an original ship

Today's MOC is the Swan, a space shuttle.

[LDD MOC] Mandalorian heavy fighter

Thanks all. I build one every day, so statistically there should be one that is fantastic fantastic among them Jealous of me? there's no reason at all... -
Today's MOC is the mandalorian heavy fighter. Here is the lxf file I wanted to do a fighter with rotating wings, with studs on both sides... First the wings were simple, and after a few hours of modification I ended up with something that looks a lot like a B-wing. I love the B-wing so I don't mind, but it wasn't what I was aiming for in the first place.

Sadly I can't brickbuild them as I only have old lego bricks, sdo I miss the new colors, the new bricks, and by new I mean anything produced in the last 15 years. And I don't plan on buying lego sets as I'm saving to buy the parts I need to complete my SSD. I always include the lxf file, so if anyone want to brickbuild one of my design, go ahead

That's the gunner. You don't want to be in his line of sight I've used the same duo in the gunship MOC.
-
I did some colour change, since the grey part bothered me too. These daily MOCs are likely to have similarities to existing sets/MOCs. I build them with one or two ideas (the gunship was built to use the engine's design), and sometimes I have in mind shapes or color schemes that may exists. The space chair allow a 15° inclination between the torso and legs, the "normal" chair only allow 5°. Originaly I've put a normal chairr, but the canopy couldn't close Updated the lxf file

It takes much time. Yesterday's one was difficult, and I changed some design features many times so I though I might not post it in time. It's sand blue. It work well with grey (light or dark). You're right, I should have put some blue on top.

Today's MOC is the Teardrop. Here is the lxf file you lowly tieves! Kar Qwon, a young jedi, lived on Dantooine with his beloved wife. Returning from a long and dangerous mission which he was the sole survivor, losing his best friends and companions, he found his wife dead and buried. He left the jedi order, and traveled from one place of the galaxy to another, avoiding crowded cities, living aboard his aging ship. In the villages he earned his living in the fair, performing juggling, walking on burning embers or swallowing lightsabers ... To some he told his sad story, and they quickly nicknamed his ship "Teardrop".
