  1. Really nice! But I think you could improve the feets.
  2. I've got a lot of legos... but most of them are black or red (thanks blacktron and M:tron), so I'll have to buy a lot of pieces from bricklink. But first I need to get my old legos, sort them, and see what parts and how many I miss. The second problem is space. In my current apartment it will be hard to fit that 160cm long SSD. Plus I got a mini-godzilla at home, my cat's favorite quote is "if it can be broken, it should be broken"
  3. Wow that's sad news... Maybe I can help you?
  4. Any news on your model Skayen?
  5. Now start the long wait before I can finally build it, although I'll get my old Legos in 2 weeks.
  6. I've noticed that too... I'll give it a try... The 4266 doesn't exist in light bluish gray, so I'm looking for a replacement. Otherwise all incoherent parts/colors have been replaced.
  7. Okay, version v1r0 is done, if some master-builder want to take a look at the lxf file, just ask Some parts I used don't seems to exist... so I need to replace them. I was wondering how the color "transparent neon orange" look, and if it's a good choice for the engines...
  8. You should probably use the Force... Still it's strange nobody knows where that gap come from
  9. Some of the droids on the top right panel miss some legs And there are 5 of them.
  10. It should, but I use 12x3 wedges, so expanding the city 3 studs backward means removing a 12 studs long wedge.
  11. Just for the "fun", here are colored screenshots. Each color represent a group in LDD. - green is the frame - gray is the hull - blue is the engines - red is the upper city - purple is the under city - black is the feets Edit: added the side views
  12. I think I'll use an ISD more like the one DFOL made. I try not to go over the 4500 bricks... so only 176 bricks left The group composed of the cities alone uses half of the bricks. That bothers me too! But it will probably stay like that. The question is: is it really a problem? What kind of propulsion do the empire use? Maybe that part of the ship was build here on purpose and contains important rooms, like Vader's personal sauna.
  13. That brings back memories... How many hours have I played with that tiny island
  14. The work on the lower side is in progress. Realism wasn't really possible, due to the scale, space available, and the superstructure. Had to hide all the blue, green and red brick of the structure... I only did the side at the foreground.
  15. Just see that TRU US website got the "LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (7958)" for 16$ with additionnal 20% off. Dunno if it's new or not...
  16. This looks awesome, but it's hard to see all the details.
  17. On amazon.fr, the price is 23,09€, but there is no shipping. So it's interesting!
  18. Thanks. The shipping to France is 7,00€
  19. Considering the "jester issue", in France the bishop is called "le fou", which refers to what could be called a jester... But even with this confusion, the jester should have been switch with the red bishop who is actually a knight
  20. Really nice, could be a real set
  21. Wanted to come out of my 15 years dark age by buying the imperial v-wing, so I checked to prices in the US and FR lego website... On the US site, the v-wing cost 19,99$, so approximately 16,50€... On the FR site, the v-wing cost 29,90€, so approximately the right amount to make you feel ripped of... Do EU lego fan know a way to buy lego a little cheaper?
  22. Congratulation! What's the sizes of this UCS?
