Hi Cpt. Jr. I'd simply make the hull with plates. You can create great & smooth shapes by using all kinds of plates (espacially the smaller ones: 1x2, 2x2, 2x3, 2x4). If resources (read: Lego ) are available again, I'll make a ship too.. using that plate technique. But now I'm constructing quite a large castle, and most of my lego is used for that! Just try, try and try again 'till you got the shape you want Kind Regards KennY.

Amazing Moc! I especially like the torches a lot! It's possible that I may use them in the future (if allowed of course! ) And how have you attached them to the wall?

Great job! I love the upper piece in yellow! It'll fit perfectly with the other houses! I'll try the Entrancehall with staircase this evening (it's the one between the ground & first floor I suppose?) -

Great job Erdbeereis! Love the fountain you've made! The flowers are a nice touch too, especially the shape in which they've been planted. -
This was also my first castle set A nice and interesting set in my opinion! The next one was the Renegade Runner (Ship), of which I now have two

Hi all! I just finished my Fighters Guild, and the torture Room (but this one seemed to big.. ). I've just seen that there are still a few houses that doesn't have a builder yet, so I'm interested in making the tannery (nr. 26), and nr. 55 "Entrance Hall with Great Staircase". But this last one has to fit onto the Courtyard, made by Erdbeereis, I suppose? Kind Regards Kenny. -
Choose your favourite Castle Barding!

Yes I meant this.. I have to admit that I'm not really following the latest castle sets, though I'm certainly going to buy them all! I'm looking for the elder sets & figs these days.. But now I'm starting to buy the 2008 sets too. Finally... -
You've got a point there, dadster, but maybe they're not allowed to give information about the coming sets? I cannot imagine an employee of a specialised Legostore doesn't know what's coming next year.. I think he even knows more than we already know! I suppose within a month we will finally be able to enjoy this marvelous set! So maybe the first half of January, if we're lucky.. . I'm already saving money!

This set really is lovely! I also have one, and he's worth the money! Can't wait till the new ship will arrive here in Belgium!

Is there a Lego Shop in Brussels?
castlestrike666 replied to Rob PBS's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I'm from Belgium, and as far as I know, there aren't any legoshops here .. Too bad though. There's currently a 10% off in "Fun", a store with quite a large choice of Lego.. Furthermore you also have Dreamland. Otherwise I cannot help you -
hehe, lovely!

They're all gorgeous (and some of them quite expensive too! ), though I chose for the first one, the Shogun barding. I'd love to add them all to my collection! I have never seen the last one before.. What set uses that barding? -

They're not white, but very light gray All of my light bluish gray tiles 1x1 are in another moc. So normally these plates are just temporarily, but if they fit, I'll leave them? Here are some pictures of the interior: Interior & Other -

Here's a first impression of the fighters guild The wall still has to be built, and I have to upload the pictures of the interior, but this is something for tomorrow or this weekend.. There are also a couple of windows missing, but it's difficult to find the black ones.. Comments? Fighters Guild Kenny. -

Okay, sorry I didn't notice it had to be on a 16 x 16 plate... . Sorry for that I've also had a fighters guild in mind on a 32 x 32 baseplate.. Well, I'll first make one onto a 16 x 16, and then, as a moc for my own, expand it to a 32 x 32 plate I'll try to finish it today! -

Could I still enter for a couple of buildings? - Tortury room - Kitchen - Fighers Guild Tnx! -
The Orcs you use are lovely You gave them the right outfits!

Say bye bye to this castle! I'll make a completely different one! This time without interior.. There are too many pieces in it you can't even see from the outside! The main things will remain (the look of the walls for instance), but there will be a lot changed! It will actually become a walled city this time. So stay tuned for a newer (and hopefully better) version! Kind Regards Kenny

castlestrike666 replied to brickzone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I really like the tiny sets each morning. It's the first thing I do when I get up! I also keep a summary onto my forum for each day (for the castle & city calendar). If you're interested, just Click Here (You have to register to see it though..) -
Indeed an incredible moc.. When someone's looking one of your mocs, you can immediately say it's your work It's a very unique style. Actually simple but great ideas, nice details and an outstanding use of variety... Each detail is worth looking at Keep up the good work, DNL! You have a die-hard fan!
