  1. I completely agree with Stiel. More craftsmen doing typical medieval labour. There were more jobs than only the smitty. But, I think it won't be easy to develop different bodies for all of these figs, due to the fact that most of the clothing in medieval ages kinda looked the same..
  2. I bought it from a guy here in Belgium, who only has brand new sets from the old days, and he stops with his hobby. So I bought a couple of nice sets, and put some others in reserve because I was out of money Bought the Legoredo fortress, few smaller western sets, the orient expedition fortress and the armada flagship. He really has great sets, for great prices! Can't wait for my next visit
  3. Just did the 6055 Prisoner Convoy
  4. Dear Lords and Ladies Here's an attempt to do my first review. This week, I bought the brand new Lion Knights set 6055 - Prisoner Convoy, and I saw it still needed to be reviewed, so here we go! Enjoy! Set #: 6055 Set Name: Prisoner Convoy Faction: Lion Knights Pieces: 112 Figs: 3 knights, 1 peasant and 5 (!) horses Price: Cheapest new one on BL: € 500 My price: € 35 Original price: Unknown Year released: 1985 Peeron Bricklink First impression: old school!! Jippie! On the back you find some alternative creations The bit fragile outer box also contains a pretty solid inner box where all the new and shiny pieces come out The instruction booklet is folded, and contains a second and original Legoland brochure from the '80s Three strong Lion Knights: 1 Guardion on his horse with a grill helmet, one longbowman and one footsoldier; who drives the coach. And of course: our villain (or innocent peasant). The choice is yours Five beautiful horses, which is pretty rare in recent sets. If there's even one single horse, you can praise yourself lucky! Back then, 5 horses were a common fact, even for a small set like this one! 3 white and 2 black horses. The remaining white horse is for the guardian to protect the convoy. First part: the lower piece of the coach itself, the basis to build the rest Second part: the back hatch to lock the bad guys up! Third part: they also need a window, don't they? Right and left contains the black wall piece with a small window for the prisoner to take some fresh air/light. Fourth part: front piece to chain the horses, and the roof installed. Final step: adding the actors. In this case, our three soldiers and the (escaped) baddie Now, everything packed in sealed bags and carefully stored in my drawer to probably lay there for a pretty long time. Scores: Playability: Due to the fact there are 4 minifigs and 5 horses, and the vehicle itself is moveable, fun is guaranteed! 8/10 Design: The design of the carriage is great! But I wouldn't like to be the bad guy sitting in his small room for miles and miles on non-paved roads. The whole carriage is 4 studs wide, but it's just wide enough to fit for one minifig. The parts used to create the whole coach and the weapons and attributes for the knights alone is worth buying! 8.5/10 Price: For me, it was a real bargain, but I was lucky to find the set so cheap. I don't have a clue about the price back then in the '80s, but I think it was pretty cheap compared to what you get if you buy one of the recent sets. 9/10 Total: 25.5/30 Tip: If you ever find this set, box and instructions included, new or as new, don't hesitate and buy!
  5. Whoops! Sorry Will do it first thing tomorrow.
  6. I totally LOVE the captain! All the used parts fit perfect! And of course his ship. It has a very realistic look

  8. First impression of a new project I'm making now. It's going to be 8 baseplates long and 4 baseplates wide. Comments are welcome Click = bigger picture
  9. Hello everyone! I'm going to sell my Batman sets, because I don't really need them anymore. They're only taking space, and I never look at them anymore. They are all brand new, but the Batcave and Arkham Asylum are opened only to build as a model. Stickers are still on their sheet, and the boxes and instructions are all in great shape. Batcopter is brand new in sealed box! If you want to buy them, not with bricklink please. Send me a PM, or post it here Maybe there can even be talked about the price Bricklink shop Thank you!
  10. To me, there's something wrong with its nose.. And the windows are a bit out of proportion in comparison with the minifigs. It doesnt look bad, but I prefer the old shuttle!
  11. Woehoew! I like! Will definitely get one.
  12. Great presentation, with some lovely ideas in it. I especially like the globe and sacks. Would be great to have those parts! I also agree with one of your final pages, in which you mention some parts that aren't made anymore such as the palm tree parts, compasses and brown chests.
  13. They really look better than the original one! Never thought about applying for a job at TLG?
  14. Great review sir! About this castle line: I honestly don't know what to think of it... It's not bad, especially with the new pieces in it, but there's something not quite allright with it, Eventhough I don't know what.
  15. Very great creation! I really, really love that bunker in the rocks!! It's way too realistic!
  16. Very great! I also checked your other creations, and I must say, you have clever ideas on how to make things laying in the water in a very realistic way!
  17. Good old times! So far away.. Great Review!!
  18. I hope the quality will be better than the other ones.. cause the yellow isn't what it has to be Nice figs though..
  19. Although I am not a trainfan, I really love your creation!
  20. There might be some nice new pieces in it, but seen all the sets together, it doesn't look very promising to me actually..
  21. I really like the fireplace, especially because it's a real light in it
  22. Incredibly beautiful. It's hangar n°4 you say? But the door says n°5 Whoops, now I see.. It's the entrance to n°5 My bad..
