Because cheese hasn't been made in tan before and we all love rare coloured parts in large quantities for building MOC's Tan is great for buildings, sand for beaches and deserts, car models.....the list goes on and on, and as its the only set that tan cheese appears in the price on Bricklink will be quite high too!

Always with the sweet talk Sieggo. It is a tough decision, though I like TLG using the dark brown, and back printing, Arealight probably had to develop his customs from scratch with a lot less in the way of resources available. I own the Arealight version, and would probably like to own the TLC version but the set doesn't warrant buying so far.

A menacing creation to be sure! Great work and excellent colour scheme including the sails. The only thing I would change is to add windows to the sides of the stern as well. Bravo.

They came from the GOO! Max thought this would be his chance to finally score with a cheerleader. He had packed a nice selection of cold cuts and even persuaded his older brother to score a six pack and some lolly water for Trudy. Sure he had heard about the disappearances up at Lake Vista ever since the nuclear plant had moved in 2 years ago, but just chalked it up to fancy tales to scare away young lovers. No one knows what became of the two lovers that night, all that remained was the picnic rug..... Hope you like. ISC.

This was probably my favourite Modular building at Brickworld Davey, the colours really spoke to me. It looks spectacular. As for a theme I suggest something along the lines of a decadent old society building like the Hellfire Club from the X-Men. That seems to fit quiet nicely Great stuff and very inspiring.

Never throw any Lego out, its a great way to make vines. I always found it odd for animals to have studs on top too, so I guess you get to stick crazy forestmen on them. I dont mix anything with Lego, its all Lego, well except for the Brickforge mushrooms that is. Thanks, I will try to snap a picture of the interior.

Cheers, to be honest I try to steer away from large elements like hull pieces and BURPs when I can, but it does have some nice curves. As for trees this large, its definitely out of my system for a while. According to my files you are already signed up for next year, bring your own apples though.

Thanks buddy, the travis anti-stud has nothing on it at present, though thinking about it I would have used the top stud for the head, the two lower sides for cheese, the upper sides for tiles and the for the anti-stud a 1x1 round next time. Here is a comparison, new design on the left.

Thank you, there is a fully decorated cabin up top with a bed, tiled floor, lit fireplace and chimney. Its just almost impossible to photograph without pulling all the leaves off the top of the tree.

Wow, what an amazingly detailed customization! Well done on the decals arms and legs. Its all good, and to throw in a story puts it over the top.

A much better idea would be to have a competition with a theme by theme level of rounds (elimination or not) thereby encompassing all themes without a bias. However the scale is truly terrifying. A similar thing was run on MOCPages called the MOCathalon and it was intense but fun to be a part of. Perhaps you should head on over there next April to try your luck in a team environment if that is fun to you. I myself found it an amazing experience as it pushed me outside my comfort zone to MOC things I hadn-t tried before.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. I found the newer pirate plumes did fall out of the older hats a lot, but its just a few quick photos after all. Not much playability. Though my sons will destroy it pretty quickly I imagine.

Some amazing work all round guys. I give 1 point to sunnyx Bojan Pavsic The Lanterne Rouge sunnyx built one of the nicest ships for mine, Bojan made a unique circus, and Lanterne used some great techniques to give good form to his ship Well done.

I have a friend who is after the new Lamborghini, and any of the old Ferrari sets. Which retail chain seems to stock these? I think I may have seen the new La Polizi Lambo at either Big W or Kmart but cant recall. Help me EB, your my only hope..... Well unless I just go to all the shops that is.

An amazingly realistic and beautiful creation. Well done on the various angles and the dome roof. To see an interior is a welcome addition too. I really like the tan higlights on the buildings as well. Great stuff.
