  1. Topic pinned for easy access to keep the conversation going. The links were taken down quickly by LEGO. Suffice to say that if Kingdoms has any regular release sets we haven't seen them in the first few waves yet. So most likely Kingdoms will show June onwards in 2011. As the others mention, the rest is speculation for now.
  2. Some really nice design work on this MOC LuxorV. The tiling lifts the whole creation as does the fig posing.
  3. For those who can't get to Myer for the sale. Barnes and Noble have put up Hogwarts! Its on sale due to being a top seller, $5 off toys special and these coupons work as well (M3W4P3L or U3D8B4J)to bring the price down to $107 US including shipping! That's probably only about $110 Aus. No sign of the rest of the line though. The 3D scanner is awesome, I had a good play over in Chicago with it.
  4. This is great Iz, loving the Yoda brand powder and the Iron is great. I think the look on Leia's face is priceless and R2 looks to be useful for a change. "Ewok stains remove it will"
  5. Amazing Zentaedi Battlepod Baron. Your attention to detail is always excellent and this has some nifty features. The inclusion of the larger fig as Peppermint said is a nice touch. I loved this show as a kid and still watch some of the DVD's from time to time. Cheers ISC.
  6. A really nice and well posed vignette Pep. Love the cherry blossom tree.
  7. A lovely guard house Deviet, the foliage and natural looking ground are great as too the coloured bricks on the tower itself. The tower to me looks a little top heavy but all in all is nicely done.
  8. Since this is Castle 2010 related I will move it into said thread.
  9. That was me Me too You had one in between, which I gave you. "Likes big birds" Too good duck boy! Utoh... As for mine, pretty sure its the number of LEGO sets I still need to buy before the next wave is released
  10. I just thought I would let you all know I now have lots more work with Brickarms and Brickforge, working on some shiny products of course Hmmm, lustrous.
  11. I agree, on the high res pictures it looks like it could be chalk, liquid paper or white marker. Sound right DC?
  12. Nothing wrong with positive, wishful thinking. Forestmen would be a tricky theme to bring back with its current colour scheme as it is very similar to the Dark green of the Dragons. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I can't imagine the introduction of a third faction in the second wave.
  13. A beautiful piece of work DC! Love the curved beams supporting the house. The scenery is nicely done as well with all the usual action you weave in to it. Just a small critique is the ground is a little too verdant, it feels like there is too much in the way of grass on the land. Its not a major thing though and the rest of the details are just outstanding. Great stuff and Frontpaged too.
  14. Derfel Cadarn has been busy with another Castle masterpiece, head on in to the History Forum to take a look at Peace sells...but who's buying?
  15. I agree that it looks much better in the real brick, though the initial attention to detailed applied in LDD has lead to this great Saloon. Lots to like, not just from the writing, but also the action inside the Saloon helps bring it to life, so to speak.
  16. A lovely rendition of a inn in all its glory, seediness etc as well as all the little treats like the beast in the well, tiled flooring and more. Welcome to Eurobricks as well turambar.
  17. Happy Birthday to our favouritist bestest Ice cream lovin Pirate Mod guy! have a great bday with some LEGO thrown in for good measure. Ooooo a big shop for a big bird!
  18. It was touch and go as to whether I would include the slain animals, I think I am glad I did though as it adds to the sinister nature of the whole scene imho. Thanks mate. The drums were already eaten by the tentacle demon of course. The drummer is always the first eaten Thanks, and yes they are creepy Children of the corn. Nice rank by the way Big Cam.
  19. A lovely rendition of an ancient temple reduced to tourism. From the outside it looks to be a busy, bustling place full of life and action from local scoundrels and beggars. I agree the inside looks a little bland, but the real action is shown outside to much effect. Well done.
  20. Well done Pretzel! I love the use of different colourings such as the lime grass, the dark tan cactus/tree as well as the beautiful temple, its all so nice. The piggie door is fantastically rustic to boot. Keep it up mate.
  21. Hi rloesberg, would you mind not bumping a 2 year old thread too often. Aliencat is not an overly active member on our boards and is unlikely to notice your comments on such an old thread. Bumping old topics pushes newer topics down the list stopping other members from noticing them (not just my own ones either ) Cheers ISC.
  22. Thanks guys, glad you like all the little touches. I happen to live with a couple.....
