  1. Thanks to you all for your kind wishes, and Happy birthday to all the other members who share the same birthday. So many staff members posting. Did someone hit the report button I did take the day off EB too RAS, took my lovely wife up to Sydney to show off the Aus EB Event site etc.
  2. A nice creation mikey, well done on incorporating so many nice details into this dwelling. Whilst some pics are blurry, you have still done your creation justice.
  3. Thanks, I used four layers of plates with tiles as the fifth layer. this equals exactly two studs across, so drops in nicely.
  4. It was $68 on clearance when I checked.
  5. You definitely did a good job, and it was always going to be tough against Dave Kaleta, but you by no means disgraced yourself. Some really nice techniques Flare. Cheers ISC.
  6. Thanks for the close ups kaitan, welcome to an EB Frontpage too! Loving all the columns, they are so detailed.
  7. Eurobrick's member kaitan has spoiled us with his enormous rendition of a chariot racing arena entitled Ave Caesar. To quote Julius Caesar, "It is better to create than to learn! Creating is the essence of life." Head on over to the History Forum to take a look at this amazing MOC. Don't forget to scroll down to see some more pics.
  8. Congrats on the impending stork delivery pedro/Peter I have a cot and change table you can borrow You just need to pick up from NSW Australia. I wish you all the best with all the fun, sleepless nights and good times that are coming. Josh. It's always a tricky balance. Whilst it is easy to read EB a few minutes at a time, to actually put aside time to build MOC's can be tricky.
  9. This is a massive build kaitan Any chance of a few pictures of the interior race track? Well done on having the patience and bricks to build such a huge structure.
  10. Its just a screen cap from the new Lego Star Wars-Clone Wars game due out soon, not an actual figure

  11. Sheer beauty Matn! Well worth the time and cash invested into it Love the rock work on the building, the Tudor style upstairs, dobby hanging out the window, and that bridge is really something special! Can you tell me the bricks you have used to fix the dak grey tiles on the corner? Are they the Travis bricks? If so how did you put other bricks next to them? Your Harry Potter display is really a great effort all round. Cheers ISC.
  12. A lovely lonely rendition of prehistoric times Etzel! Whilst I also feel the MOC is a bit empty for my tastes, that's not what etzel was attempting, and I think he came through in spades, filling it with cloned cavemen wouldn't have felt right. As for the river, its probably a geyser/mud flow rather than a river, at least that's how I see it.
  13. Hilarious work Ezechielle I like the cart design and the man hiding has the perfect expression for someone about to be poked. Great work.
  14. Thanks guys. Just cause I wanna look kick megablocks like all the other clone members Nah, its a screencap from the new Lego Clone Wars game due out soon, and I thought it looked nice. My usual sigfig will be back in a few days time to better signify my History role.
  15. Well done on attempting such a large build and doing it so well. Loving the greebles and the solution to the gaps was very clever.
  16. A very nice rendition of an UCS Plo Koon fighter. Shame about those stickers coming off the back thruster. Love the Droid head design by cave god too.
  17. Thanks for the welcome, now where are the Sausage Rolls and Cake? Its true I will be the new butt kicker in the History Forum, and I just want to thank Sir Dillon for doing an amazing job over the last couple of years. He has kept History neat and tidy and ruled with an iron fist over the Darklands quite well. God speed saving our Universe Dicky, we will welcome you and your extraterrestrial allies back with open arms. Hey I am still a Fellow, now with benefits! I am working on getting some Green into my rank
  18. ISC waves to everyone. Cheers guys for the nice comments and to Whitefang for the Blogging.
  19. Thanks for pointing out a great technique to us so clearly explained. Agreed, black creations actually photograph better with a black background.
  20. It is always tricky to come up with a unique Western MOC lately, however you have managed this quiet well. The balcony, doors curtains, roof and the holsters are great. Perhaps the only thing I would suggest to change is to make the tan base less symmetrical, it just looks far to neat for a frontier western town to have a perfectly manicured sand pit out front . Great job 74, you always manage to make great stuff. I actually like the railings, they dont obscure the background action.
  21. Hi Flare, how is MOCAthalon going?

  22. I decided to make a vignette showing off the complete Series 2 minifigure range, and what better way to show this than a fun day at the beach! More pics on Flickr and MOCPages Thanks for looking. Cheers ISC.
  23. Seems like LEGO wants to avoid confusing their customer base by removing the old theme and bringing in the new. Its no good having customers requesting products that are no longer stocked when there is a similar new/well stocked theme to replace it. It was a breath of fresh air having the Fantasy based Castle theme, but now its time to embrace some good ol human vs human action Besides the Medieval MArket Village is still available for now.
  24. ...and thats how it starts Great Castle, but now you have the bug and will want to build bigger and better no doubt. A really nice effort with the collection of bricks available, some nice interiors and a bit of action outside to boot. Keep striving.
  25. A nice vignette ANT, well done on the nice photography as well. I feel a bat may be a better option than an owl, and maybe a scorpion or rat picking the carcass as well.
