I can't believe I missed this beautiful creation Teddy! Loads of nice details including the gun storage, mechanics garage, lockups even the beautifully designed Police car. Love the SNOT walls as well.

Thanks Rick, the posing is such an important part for me when it comes to lifting the MOC, and I think people need to take the time with posing. Posing figs just straight on bases doesn't bring as much emotion to the whole thing. I think you mean the tropical parrot. There are three different bird designs in the MOC. That's the trouble with Volcano deities I guess, always erupting when its dinner time! Moving isn't ideal because the land mass always increases make the island worth more money over time

Cheers guys, thanks for the Blogging too Skally. It feels good to build Pirates again, its been awhile since Carat's 4 Carrots. I love the colour schemes islands let you use. I chose not to do any Islander canoes as I have built them before for Carat's 4 Carrots. Whilst the canoe is small they require a bit of real estate to make the MOC still balanced. As for the palm trees I prefer to use the 1x1 cones and bricks as they are more versatile than trunk pieces and more readily available. Just take some flex-tube and you can bend the palms any way you like. I always look for a nicer more difficult way to do things

I think we all realise that what tests well with kids age 6-14 is what will be mainstream released. AFOL's drive the exclusive market due to larger budgets.
