  1. Whoa, slow it down people. This topic is fast becoming a topic to be locked. Stop the personal attacks on each other. People are entitled to opinions about movies they can't unsee, any comments about others opinions are just trolling and going to end in tears. I intend to keep an eye on this topic, so if the attacks don't stop this topic is dusted. There are plenty of Lego themed discussions that may be more fruitful for you all to have a look at.
  2. Happy Birthday Emily (Now we know your real name) Have a great day, and keep Infuriated Issac away from the booze
  3. Some nice work, can you give us more detail on what you have created and the materials used? Cheers.
  4. Seems I am a Playful Bad Chewie Moderator thanks to LuxorV I have been on a title rampage of late.
  5. Happens to me occasionally as well and probably due to slow internet speed. A refresh works for me as well.
  6. Beautiful creation Skalldyr. The snow on the trees looks nice as does the posing and of course Nadroj's sleigh looks great.
  7. Great shot, this is really what this comp is all about (as KimT mentioned) Takes me back to an old shot from Yoda all those years ago
  8. An impressive spooky minifigure display from a lover of all things macabre and horror filled Well done.
  9. Great help guys so far. I agree with Gryphon Ink about the Quest against time set due to all the nice Dark Bley. As for Light Bley you could always buy the Death Star, but at $400US Its probably just as easy to get more Light Bley from BL shops. I did buy the Death Star to use later on for MOCing but its just to good to pull apart, or to track down the 4000 pieces later to rebuild it Lets face it, you need 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4 and larger for walls, headlight bricks, tiles in 1x1, 1x2, arches, hinge plates at least. Generally pieces that are available from PAB in stores is far more available and their prices are lower on BL as well. If you are in a country that has LEGO shops with PAB walls, they may even sell full boxes of a particular piece. This should get you started hopefully, but you generally only know what pieces you need by building first, annoying as that is, so you are probably right to buy a few sets and try some MODing first. If you want to build large mountains, duplo bricks are great for the interior supports as 2x4 bricks will sit on top of Duplo etc. Maybe try a few yard sales/local markets or bulk lots on eBay too.
  10. I'm glad you are excited but please tone down on the use of the emoticons muscleman. Looking at your last 12 posts or so you seem to go a bit overboard. Thanks.
  11. Norwegian member L@GO brings us news of the new #9349 Fairytale and Historic Minifigure Set just released on S@H. It appears to be listed in UK, Australia and European countries but not the US (so far) I don't recall any mention of this product previously. Will it be released worldwide? Will it be top quality figures? Headon over to the 2011 Castle thread to discuss. Or snap one up from S@H L@go just pointed out the City version as well #9348 Community City Minfigures as well Looks like some interesting parts available like the yellow hard hat, lime and orange caps, new printed dog and much more. Discuss more in City 2011 It could get missed in the excitement of all the other new lines just released on S@H as well as all the sale stock!
  12. Well done on some really nice designs Nuju Some really inspired builds with great angles if people want to figure out parts used. Looking forward to the accompanying scenery.
  13. Nuju Metru has created some spectacular dragons from Lego, here is just one of my favourites. Head on over to the History Forum to see this collection of Dragons!
  14. Some really great ideas pig! The elemental powers are a nice idea though the stone power is kind of lost behind the other powers as it blends into the building. The Evil wizards staff is beautifully constructed and is a real centerpiece of the MOC. For the water wizard you could try this piece to give more of a flow as well.
  15. Great work Skalldyr. Love the overgrown nature invading the ruins. Nice posing on the figs as well.
  16. Looks like the Ninjago sets are starting to appear. tin_7 brings us a beautifully photographed and in depth review of the Starter set, 2257 Thanks tin_7! Head on over to the Action Forum to take a thorough look through all the great topics.
  17. As this isn't about Lego sets, rather clone brands/alternate toys I have moved it to Community for discussion.
  18. Guys, we don't really need a topic for every little mistake on S@H. Lets get on to the serious things like building MOCs, sets and looking at the great creations and reviews on EB. Cheers. ISC
  19. A couple of nice, quick builds all things considered. I couldn't crank em out this fast, but then the deadline of a competition can make you step up. I really like the look of Pastoral Life, I need to track down some brown flextube I think, makes for great smaller trees. Have a good Christmas mate to you and the family. Cheers ISC.
