The Forest Mafia Sign-ups-CLOSED

You're clearly reminiscing about the Westin when you approached this idea Hinck. Your ideas seem to be definitely leading to some close encounters of the furry kind. There seem to be no end of expectant eager participants who have no idea what their roles will be in this furry wonderland, they're certainly in for a wild ride. Just like one may expect to find on Mark the Monkeys Fruit Stand; an all time fav of mine, so simple, so neat with a great figure to boot. -
Ok, lets start with the fact that I don't own any of the 2011 sets yet so the figures I used ARE representing the three current Action Themes as best I can. Oooooo, he spotted the colours, well done. Continue speculation. (Its light blue though, not Maersk ) Yup. Intriguing. Three UCS would be amazing! I wonder if TLC would be able to manage that in one year

Oh my god! Your back Peggy! Great to see you back in the History boards mate Hope this means we will see some MOC's from you soon too. BTW I run this part of town now Cheers ISC.

Moc: Tropical forest
I Scream Clone replied to Captain Flint's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I really thought I had commented on this beauty already, maybe it was on Flickr? Great job on all the landscaping and storyline. A terrific scene. -
Confused, unsure of what it all means? Trying to decipher the clues? Does this picture actually mean anything? All speculation can of course be posted here. Welcome to the mayhem Eurobrickers!

MOC: Battle for the last living tree
I Scream Clone replied to Captain Flint's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
What a jaunty, rollicking adventure this seems to be! Well done on the build and posing it really brings forth the action and desperation to the MOC. -
Sorry to miss this bleedin obvious topic mate, Happy Belated TGIF Birthday! Someone as generous as yourself deserves a great birthday and all the fun that comes with getting older (but no more mature )

Hey, seems I am late to the party. Have a great day mate, enjoy all the good times.

This is a clear point of "smaller is better" in the case of castle walls. A lovely creation showcasing a relaxed village lifestyle. Great photography as well.

A really nice colourful design! Loving the action as well as the overall desing of the walls, roof and surrounds. Welcome to Eurobricks and keep the great builds coming.

This is probably the best pic. There are bricks on the far end, plates on the close end (horizontal) and tile to smooth it out. The lights are from Artifex Ithorian head from Arealight as are the Twileks.

Operator? I just love the way this shot turned out from my Plasmo's MOC Rodian in the Shadows Some great shots Fenris, Wayno, WampaStompa, beautiful. Would love if someone could work up a tutorial on the basics required for these type of shots.

There are two curved bricks involved, plus plates. 6005 and 6091 Nice, its funny how things like that happen. I recall the actor from Reservior Dogs hopped into his car after filming the ear cutting scene all day with "Stuck in the Middle" song only to have it playing on the radio as his car started Thanks, tried to cram lots of things into this one. I just watched that recently, so perhaps there was some subconcious building there. I don't know, sounds like a lot of work Thanks mate, glad you liked it enough to blog Thanks, I believe barrel droid's official name is b3-3r or Keg-Bot Republic credits! Republic credits are no good here, its long distance-call collect.

Plasmo's Plasmo's: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy except maybe in Mos Eisly Spaceport Jedi Master Plo Koon is searching for a long lost contact to aid him in the Clone Wars. His travels have ended up on the remote planet of Iscreamery where he heads to Plasmo's, a den of treachery run by the Clan Squiddie. Whilst not as notorious as the Hutt Clan, no less fearsome in their efforts to extort, control and swindle throughout this part of the galaxy. An Assassin droid attempts to get the drop on Plo, but will he be successful?! Full sets on Flickr and MOCPages.

Time to have a little chat.

This topic seems to have run its course.

Wow, well done on reimagining this Tower so well in LEGO form. It looks marvelous. The stain glass windows, the red stone work, the arches, it all works so well.

Thanks for the news. By then I should have saved back all the money I spent on old monorails. A good point, usually the release date is when all shops are expected to have it in stock, so you can expect to be lucky and find the sets earlier at some retailers. The window shutters and new faces are indeed beautiful, I like the idea of shadier establishments, good job LEGO. Can we expect a new review if you score early again Dale? PS: Thanks for the soft drinks mate A good point, this set does indeed offer a load of great things.

A nice vig, though it feels a bit too green. Perhaps some more variety in the tiling or even some tan round bricks in the bamboo. Good stuff with the beheading.

Im liking the top half. The bottom arches could be longer and include the arch windows to carry the wood theme down to the stonework some more. Perhaps some vines growing on the walls would improve the organic integration of the house into its environment too. Interesting to see where this will head.
