I managed to score a Apple Tree House for $52 at DJ's. The ticket price is 79.99 but scans at 69.99. I missed this and when I went back and asked for the 25% discount they applied it to the 69.99 price. Good times Should have scanned Grand Emporium too, maybe it would have been cheaper than $180.

It all works so nicely. I love the snow in its many haphazard placements and the Tudor building is beautifully constructed. The mood of the whole scene is really dreary, which I assume you intended. Congratulations on Brother's Brick as well, most deserved.

A really amazing effort on the buildings 74! Love the figures legs and the action and ramshackle nature of the scene. Probably the only thing that I would like to improve on is the ground itself. It just needs a little "jazzing up" so to speak. All dark bley really detracts a little from the whole MOC. Though the rest is great, keep em coming!

Hi Bother-man it seems you are having trouble uploading and posting your images. I suggest having a look through our list of tutorials which should shed some light on uploading as well as posting images. Lets not forget the maximum picture size is 800x600 as well

I often look for unique uses of parts as the most innovative. Trying out new ideas is what keeps the hobby interesting. Take a look around the boards and see for yourself as to what the most innovative are. I can't think of any off hand since there are jsut so many out there.

...and perhaps you could also mention that it is TRU US, as we have members from around the world who have TRU in their countries too Topic renamed to avoid confusion. Carry on people.

Whilst it is always interesting to speculate on future themes and possible returns of old classics, Aanchir puts it nicely. Nostalgia is an important selling tool when it comes to adults. I mean I would love to see a return of Blacktron. Trans Yellow, black and trans red. A Blacktron monorail would just be the ultimate Space return set in my eyes. Hey maybe a classic reissue of Message Intercept Base, might drive the price of the trans yellow dome pieces below $17 each on BL too

A really nice Castle creation! Loving the design, the rocks, shrubbery etc. It all works quite well. The only real distraction is that the white background seems to eat into the picture in parts which is tricky when it comes to editing. I don't have the answer on fixing it as it is still a skill I struggle with as well, but overall its only a minimal thing on what is a great castle. Good luck.

Wow, what a great spin on a traditional castle! Those numbers even give it a kind of satanic kind of feel with the red. A nice snow covered ground and tree really add to the whole look as well. Great job and heres to an impressed girlfriend.

Hi Jeanne, generally in competitions it is expected that you have to submit a new creation for consideration. Perhaps you could give more information about this creation or another, with a few more pictures etc? Ok, ok, ok, just relax. Jeanne will need to post some more images of this creation so judges can determine the no. of bricks used etc.

A nice entry for CCC AC, I assume its a 32x32 limitation on this category, which would make cramming a lively battle quite a challenge, though you have been able to evoke a sense of battle here nicely. Good luck.

A really nice creation yet again Baron Sat. I think the goo and the round portal in the sewer are some of my favourite parts. Well done.

Some really nice architectural detailing Legolas! The courtyard is nicely done, the stream and waterfall look nice as well, though the mix of trans plate and regular for the water isn't my favourite option, it still looks nice. One other thing I could suggest is to add some more greenery around the outskirts of the compound, it feels too barren for such a majestic structure. Well done on angling the manor as well, really gives it a more organic feel.
