Nocturnus Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
I Scream Clone replied to I Scream Clone's topic in Guilds of Historica
Of course it is ok to join, check the first page of this topic to see what tasks you need to do to start out in Nocturnus. A nice creation Dr Rod, very dark and appropriate for the Drow caverns. Gilence, Angeli's build is impressive to say the least, his style has progressed now that he has incorporated new curve techniques and colours. Abu Dun, your dragon is really nice, great job. Jareth, Your silo cottage has some great round build techniques. Some moe substantial lighting or a plane wall behind will help lift the presentation when photographing too. Keep it up Nocturnians! -

I Scream Clone replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It's a nice start and with some extra time I am sure it will grow into a beautiful layout. -
Thanks guys, looks like the footprints were a real winner.

A really nice creation, I particularly like the stream detail and that it flows around the rocks. Great job.

This Evilonia fella might give Z a run for his money, and he is on the evil side of this so he is welcome in Nocturnus any day.

Our Finest Hour The Battle of Hoth will long be remembered as one of the Empire's finest hours as they successfully routed the Rebellion forces scattering them across the galaxy, desperate and on the run. Here are the data files taken moments before the shield generator was destroyed by the AT-AT's. Hope you like. I Scream Clone replied to bruce n h's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I guess that depends on whether you would extend the same courtesy if we were to promote our castle competitions on your site? I look forward to seeing all the amazing builds as they appear online. Good luck running what has been a great competition in the past. -

Speeder Bike Chase Hi one and all, just finished the first of a planned series of Star Wars vignettes for local conventions. The idea is to build iconic scenes which aren't enormous and easily set up for display. Hope you like the first scene entitled Speeder Bike Chase. Thanks to Legohaulic for the sweet speeder bike design. Great work so far mate. A really nice idea to spruce up a classic. You have given me a little inspiration to redo a classic set sometime soon as well.

A really nice build and good read. The posing on the figures brings a sense of realism and depth of story too.

Creations for Charity Eurobricks member and MOC expert Nannan has launched the highly successful Creations for Charity again this year. If you like the idea of helping out less fortunate kids receive LEGO sets donated for the holiday season then head on over to the topic here. To learn how you can purchase an amazing number of unique creations built and donated by the AFOL community before they are gone, then get cracking, great builds disappear fast!

I would love to get a heap of these trans clear quarter cylinder pieces, very spacey! -
A really nice, sleek design on this vessel, the docking bay is a nice touch too. I see you have discovered how hard it is to light such a big MOC for photographing, the white background does help a bit, but I think it needs at least a few light sources along the ship to light it all up at once. Great job.

Nice job on the presentation. The frigate feels a little underdeveloped for mine though. I think the fact it appears almost box-like is one of the main contributing facts, that and the large amount of studs on the sides without any detail. The missile racks are a nice detail, perhaps some more greebling on the sides, or some wings (though in space they aren't really necessary). Good job, an I look forward to future designs.
