  1. Nice scene. It could have benefited with a nice clean background like cardboard to remove the distractions, but otherwise some great parts usage.
  2. Great to see plenty of good-natured ribbing going on. I have handed down a few new titles to some of you as well. Keep enjoying Historica, and who knows, if you guys decide to organise a mini-challenge, you should invite the guild leaders to take part too! We do have something big coming in another theme by the middle of the year, so stay tuned, but Historica is yours after all.
  3. Lol, true, not many Ewoks were harmed in the filming. There is no interior and the doors are fixed. If I ever build a larger Endor layout, I am sure it will be expanded on. Plans are afoot for more Hoth action and some Tatooine builds as well.
  4. Thank you guys. Still got plenty of ideas to come.
  5. Wow, great entry. Love the dome and greenery underneath.
  6. A really nice effort so far deskp on designing and Elvish landscape. I am not usually a fan of LDD, prefering the real brick, but these are great and give me and others ample inspiration too.
  7. Thanks for the encouraging comments guys, always appreciated.
  8. Here is my entry, though I can't win any prizes Old MacDonald had a cow by I Scream Clone, on Flickr
  9. I think the larger retailers have accounts with LEGO which enables them to purchase larger quantities of sets then offer them to overseas sellers like Australians without the VAT that European countries have to pay. That's how it works with a lot of us on the other side of the world.
  10. The receiver is in the cabin whilst the battery box is at the back behind the 1x6 tiles.
  11. Thanks guys, I spent a long time trying to figure out if it was too over minifiged, and I agree that it was even though that stage of the battle was chaotic. Perhaps I may trim the figs down somewhat before displaying.
  12. Really impressive work James, an glad you felt able to share with us. Would you mind posting a link to your Flickr account as well?
  13. Thanks for taking a look and commenting guys/gals. It is motorized, and I learnt that I should have not covered the sensor as it only responded from certain directions. (Rookie train builder mistake )
  14. Endor: Battle for the Shield Generator Next in my series of classic Star Wars MOCS is my take on the Endor bunker attack from the rebellion to take down the Death Star shield. Hope you like my build, you can see my other recent Star Wars builds in my signature as well. 15. Diesel 4828 I can't believe I forgot to post my last train build on Eurobricks, so it's a bit late, but hope you enjoy my efforts to recreate the 4828 Diesel along with Maitland coal hoppers. 16. Motivation can be tough, but sometimes if you just start, the rest will follow.
