  1. I was reading this on my iPhone on the way to Legoland, and I'm really glad I did! If I hadn't, I wouldn't have known about this awesome polybag, and I wouldn't have got Thor and completed my Avengers team! Thanks! BTW, great review!
  2. I am so glad Series 8 is out! My favorite from that series has got to be the Santa or the Conquistador!
  3. I'm thinking it'll be like a bunch of scientists capturing artic foxes and polar bears and bringing them to their lab to study. The sets might include new hi-tech vehicles, planes, and a whole bunch of new minifigure gadgets and some armor and new guns and gadgets.
  4. I personally would like a Greek hoplite from another city, maybe Athens, or Corinth. I don't like repeats, but I guess they're OK, as long as they're not to similar to the original figure. The robot was too similar, in my opinion. The diver isn't really a "re-design," because it's kind of too different, but the cheerleader and robot definitely are.
  5. The diver being old-style is a nice change from the usual repeats. The pirate, Santa, and conquistador all look great. The army builder in this series is probably the Conquistador, or maybe the Santa(just kidding!) The enemy robot looks to much like the old one to me, which is why I don't like it. Fairy, football player, and bat all look OK, but I always have imagined the old-style diver helmet's opening in the front as having bars, rather than being a solid piece of glass. It's still a wonderful figure though. A terrific series overall, I can't wait for it to come out!
  6. Maybe he got it from a poster, or someone working at the Lego Shop showed it to him. I am also very excited for the Santa.
  7. The more "wild" animals could be useful in a City Zoo theme or MOC. THe sheep could be used in a farm theme? Maybe? Squirrels are cool, and rabbits are cool. However, if TLG made them, they would probably be the kind that have a hole at the bottom (they can clip onto a minifigure hand.) They would also be small, more like a snake or that kind of small animal piece.
  8. On the Lego Wikia, there is a short paragraph about a set called the Star Wars Rancor Pit. It also says it will be previewed at Comic-Con. Any ideas and predictions?
  9. Great MOC! Maybe your son will be a Lego lover just like you The mosaic looks nice.
  10. It depends on the set, and what's in it. If it's quite a good set, and not too expensive, I buy it. I don't actually "play with" sets, but I might buy an extra to keep and maybe sell on Ebay after a while But, if it's a huge expensive set, then I doubt anyone will buy two (too much money!) I also sometimes more than one if the set has useful parts for MOCs. I've actually bought extras of only about 5 or 6 sets.
  11. That would be cool. In my opinion, the jetpack looks better without the bulky "Jetpack" part on the back. It's quite a good piece though The Hawkeye and the Thor polybags came out I believe, but my store doesn't have them. I got Phoenix and Venom, Spidey sets would be awesome.
  12. Will you be making more MOCs?
  13. They give you a lot of minifigures! It's good for a pirate theme OR a Castle theme, too. I like how they actually give you a well-designed sail instead of it just being a little rowboat.
  14. I would like something different to come with each minifiure, like a card, or a special accesory. I would like some more historic minifigures, maybe a retiarius with a trident and a net, or a Ancient Chinese soldier with this kind of helmet.
  15. Try not to smash other members, and welcome to Eurobricks. There are so many heroes, we already have a Spider-Man. Soon, Thor will come, and then a Captain America, and so on
  16. I think the front can be thinner. Great MOC! I wonder what the completed thing would look like. I am building my own war galleon, it's kind of similar to yours. May we have more pictures please? Good luck finishing this!
  17. I like the scenes and the minifigures Great MOC! I smiled at a lot of them (And I don't smile at just anything )
  18. Yeah, same here. Even so, very accurate model and great design, "Hyler Talliwell"
  19. Catwoman looks great, Black Widow looks OK. I think Catwoman looks good with her "no-glasses face" side behind the mask. TLG made the Black Widow minifig look a little too old, in my opinion.
  20. Nice job everyone! I really liked the Category B 1st place winner. Every entry was superior and well-done!
  21. How about a poll with just the best minfigs from each series? -forestman -zombie -cheerleader -spartan -elf -musketeer -hazmat suit guy -evil dwarf -royal guard -gladiator -roman soldier -galaxy patrol -Aztec -bagpiper EDIT: added some minifigures
  22. I use touch-and-feel, and for me, it's fast and efficient.
  23. In one of the display cases in my local Lego store, Merry's just eating while his buddies battle off the bad guys. Nice review! I will not be getting this one, because I think it's too overpriced, and I have already spent a lot of money on Lego this month. EDIT: spelling
  24. This is very nice for your first brickfilm, it isn't bumpy at all, clean with a nice touch. Good job!
  25. Both are very cool, I especially like the batpod. I would definitely buy these if they were real. You hold put your designs on CUUSOO and try to get supporters to actually make these real Batman sets! Can't wait for the movie
