  1. No, I do not remember you (obviously) Anyway, welcome back!
  2. This is a great MOC! As most have said, the spider is interesting and has a nice design. The foliage is a nice detail. Can't wait for the movie!
  3. Oh, it'll be out by September. I was thinking about going to Europe to get some (just kidding ) It's not worth the airplane ticket
  4. Well, I've been doing some research, and I found out that complete collections of Series 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are worth about $500-600 or even more! Not only that, but some specific minifigure I have doubles or triples (or even more) of are also worth more than I imagined. Examples: S2 Spartan, S1 Zombie, S6 Roman, S3 Elf are around $15 Most of Series 1 (Spaceman, forestman, cheerleader, robot) is worth around $10, and some from the "middle series" are worth around that (musketeer, hazmat suit guy) The more liked minfigs from more recent series are around $5-$10. (gladiator, bagpiper, Aztec, galaxy patrol, dwarf) Of course, complete series are worth a lot of money. Series 1- almost $200 Series 2-$80 Series 3-$60 How much is your CMF collection worth???
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks, enjoy our community, and have fun in the forum!
  6. What??? The new series may not be as great or overall strong as Series 1 or 7, but it has TONS of new pieces that will be useful for many MOCs or custom minifigures, like the man-bat's wings and head, the Bavarian's pretzel, or the DJ headphones. The conquistador is very nice, along with the Santa. Many CMF collectors who missed out on the earlier series (not me ) now have a cheerleader and a robot very similar to the early ones. I mean, it can be described as average, but lame just equals horrible Well, to me, the new series is amazing, but as I have mentioned above, not as nice as only as few other Series
  7. In some places, like Poland, but not in the USA and some other countries. So, in most countries, no is the answer.
  8. Many people will probably hate me a lot after I say this, but I still think TLG should've continued The Last Airbender theme instead of Spongebob: more possibilities for sets. They could probably make Legend of Korra sets too if they had continued The Last Airbender, but they never will
  9. My favorite is the Imperial Flagship, though the Black Sea Barracuda is also very nice. I am very lucky to own both Welcome to Eurobricks, enjoy your time on forums!
  10. Oh, OK. There isn't tone online, so it's kind of hard to tell if you're serious or joking
  11. Welcome to Eurobricks. I wish I lived right down the street from a Lego Store. I have to drive 30 minutes. That's not so bad, but you are very lucky!
  12. Or we can just wait for WhiteFang's usual review, he does the analysis of the rarity. I think the helmet is easier than the gun, which is kind of small and harder to find and identify. I am putting together my own feel-guide right now, just have to figure out which piece for the Santa.
  13. I really think TLG will do an Ancient Chinese soldier, which is why I put that in my list. TLG does a lot of historical, and they already have done a few from the Far East, including the Samurai and Kimono girl. Also, they have done these minifigures from these Ancient cultures: Roman (legionnaire), Greek (Spartan), Japanese (samurai), French (musketeer), British (Redcoat), and Spanish (conquistador) China was also one of the important Ancient civilizations, so I realy believe TLG will do something from China sooner or later.
  14. Maine is kind of chilly to a person from California. I went there like 6 years ago to visit my relatives. Have fun in the train forum!
  15. I thought that the conquistador would be rare, but in your other post, you stated that you found lots of conquistadors, which surprises me. Most of the time, the historic (and usually popular) CMFs are hard to find! Examples: Spartan (don't get me started on how long it took me to find my first, and how many stores I had to go to!), Roman, gladiator, etc. The elf was very rare too, and the bagpiper was hard also hard to find. The Aztec's big headpiece was very easy to identify, which made it easy for everyone to find it, which made it sort of rare too. Just finished buying my Series 7 extras
  16. You did a great job on all of them, "lorax!" My favorite is the Billy Goats Gruff one, I like how you used Gollum as the troll, and the Little Red Riding Hood and Rapinzel ones aren't bad either. I hope you make a candy gingerbread house if you do a Hansel and Gretel one.
  17. Welcome to EB! I didn't know that the LotR sets just came out in the UK, we've had them in the US for quite a while.
  18. Welcome, Caleb! I hope you have fun on Eurobricks! Just so you know, there's a section just for trains. BTW, which state are you from? -Lghtning Dragon
  19. They are at my local Target However, they are almost always out of stock, and many of the bags are crumpled from being felt through so many times. This is just a little off topic: Once at Target, I caught a bunch of little 7-year old tourist kids from Italy (they were speaking Itlalian, and their tour guide had an Itlalian flag) cutting the bags open with little pocket knives. They had examined about 2 bags already and were going to open more when I stopped them and told the employees. Little kids
  20. I don't know. That still seems a little inappropriate for little kids who like CMFs. The bagpiper's legs don't bother me that much, since it is covered by a kilt. I just think the plaid designs would be better off the if they were the same.
  21. It's called "broadcloth." A woven synthetic fabric, I think it's made from polyester.
  22. As a few people have said, the water combined with the surface of the water is an amazing detail and adds a lot of awesomeness to the MOC. Also, the faces and expressions on the figs are exactly right for this scene  Excellent MOC, I hope you create more LotR ones soon Also, the fish are a nice detail, and so is the seabed!
  23. Nice review, have you joined the Reviewer's Academy yet??? I don't have this set, but I am thinking about getting it. The dragon is very cool, the minifigs (my favorite part of almost EVERY set) have some great design, and the temple looks so accurately Japanese. TLG did a good job on this one. My favorite Ninjago ninja is Jay, I think his DX minifigure/form is pretty nice. I like the Lightning Dragon better than the Fire one
  24. Welcome to Euobricks, what themes are your favorite??? Hope you have fun here -Lightning Dragon P.S. Hope you don't step on any Lego bricks tonight!
  25. Aang would go in the Avatar State and break Harry's wand I like Momo better than Hegwig too. Anyway, nice ones Oky! And purpleparadox, your was also hilarious! I'll post some as soon as I get a new camera.
