Are minifig arms supposed to be removed?
Lightning Dragon replied to lotryay's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I never do, because the joints might and usually become loose. It also slowly damages the torsos. After a few years, the torso might crack. I just don't want to risk it. -
Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Lightning Dragon replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
After watching it with my nephew, the TV series is better than I thought it would be. The episode I watched was Pirates vs. Ninja After that, I went on ahead and watched several more episodes on YouTube. Some parts don't have too much logic, but after all, it is a kid show.- 4,591 replies

Single Pane LEGO Licensed Theme Funnies
Lightning Dragon replied to Gregorovich's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nice ones Oky. To me, the third one was the funniest! I also like Ron's expression on the second one: it fits in perfectly with what he's saying and probably what he's feeling if that actually happened! TLG did a great job on the Widow minifigure: it looks exactly like her -
Value of CMF collection and certain minifigures
Lightning Dragon replied to Lightning Dragon's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I examined them closely: the fisherman's fish seems to be a different color, and the same is with the scorpion. There are some differences in all the figures, but not too obvious. Most minifigs have not been produced as a theme: the Spartan, Elf (well, sort of), Galaxy Patrol, etc. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 8 poll
Lightning Dragon replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I voted for the Conquistador, mainly because I am a fan of historical figures. However, I also really like the Actor, DJ (mainly because of the hairpiece), Santa, Diver, and Man-Bat: they are all minfigs that I will definitely be getting. I think TLG should slow down the Series though, mainly because I don't like too many repeats of old minfigs. The cheerleader, for example, is almost exactly the same. Maybe 2 series a year??? -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Lightning Dragon replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, the torsos are both red, and I think it would look fine. And also, does anyone know if the conquistador comes with an extra plume??? I remember the S1 forestman did. -

Just got the Skull's Eye Schooner in excellent condition (it's been on a display shelf and cleaned weekly for about 19 years now) for $380 from a close friend!!! I guess he was willing because he just visited California last week, and he stayed at my house for a week (the most exhausting week in my life so far) I am in an extremely good mood right now

Superman hair looks pretty good with the Stark minifig; even Robin's hair would look better than a bald Tony (you can get that for $3 when you buy the CMF computer programmer) Very nice MOC, it's very creative how you used the carbonite. Great job, nice MOC!

Hello everyone, a friend just offered to sell me the Skull's Eye Schooner for about $380. Should I buy that, or another Imperial flagship for $280? I'm getting the Schooner

Lightning Dragon replied to Lynx's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Yes, but in the case, Merry's on the other side, and he has double the food -

[Review] 9476 The Orc Forge
Lightning Dragon replied to lego_legis_legere's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The orange tool is the new brick separator. Not useless at all. Too bad I am not getting this set, because I just purchased 2 other LotR sets. Nice review, this is a pretty good set, but too expensive in my opinon. One more thing: Is it just me, or does the box-art look different than the actual build? -
This is my opinon: It's kind of sad how TLG did a better job on their DC minifigures than Marvel. I have always liked Marvel more than DC. Back on topic now...Ones I like: Almost all of them. The Black Widow, Spiderman, and Cap especially. The sticker is also very creative and nice. Ones I don't like: Ironman, mainly because I think the pauldrons don't look so good. I don't have that Ironman (I have the Toy Fair One I know, lucky me ) , so I don't know whether the helmet looks good or not. I also think Loki's face looks too creepy (It's just my opinon, I'm trying to find a fleshie face with a smirk), and Bruce is probably about 8/10. Perhaps Hawkeye would look better with the CMF S6 Sleepyhead's head. Great job on most of them, I hope you make more soon (I'm eating fried chicken right now )

I like all three, Oky! As many people have said, the Batman one is hilarious! I laughed and laughed and laughed. Batman's face makes the whole thing even more funny! :roflmao: -
LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Lightning Dragon replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I can. The conquistador's torso is unprinted because of the nice printing on the armor, and the same is with the Series 7 knight. If you want a printed torso, just swap it with the pirate captain torso. I think conquistadors use longswords though, not rapiers. Overall, the conquistador is a good minifigure. It looks like Santa's bag will be easy to identify. -
What your most wanted Pirate theme ship?
Lightning Dragon replied to Dr Leg O Brick's topic in LEGO Pirates
I want a Skull's Eye Schooner. I already have an Imperial Flagship and a Black Sea Barrucuda, so I must have the Schooner! -
I remember when many Lego fans thought that TLG was going to do an Elves theme. I still would like that to happen. I also would like it if TLG made a Time-Travel theme which others have mentioned. However, I do think too many themes hurts the uniqueness of the CMFs, maybe just one or two would be OK. EDIT: Spelling
