  14. Hey guys, I am currently working on some custom lego LotR minifigs, and one of the minifigs I am trying to make is Isildur from the Prologue. I have searched all over the web, but I can find any straight-on shots of him with which to make a torso decal. If any one could provide me with a clear, crisp picture(s) of his back and a clear large straight-on shot of his front, I'd be extremely grateful. I do not own the game (yet), just the demo for Xbox 360. Thanks in advance, ~RBC

I've heard that many people use Google Scetchup, is it for this kind of thing? Also is there any easy way to determine the proper proportions and measurements for the parts? ~ RBC

  24. Hey guys its Jake. Recently I have been doing a lot of customizing with Sculpey and have looked at a lot of tutorials written by master customizers like RedBean, Kaminoan, and others, and I have found some very useful tips to help me. I still have a few questions that hopefully a more experienced sculptor and customizer can answer. 1. How do I get the Sculpey as smooth as Lego pieces, besides using sandpaper? 2. When you boil the Sculpey how do you keep it from warping and shrinking* * Last week I created some custom armor using Lamnda’s armor tutorial, and when I went to boil it, it looked fine and was hard. I wanted it to cool down quicker so I stuck it in the freezer, but when I took it out about 30 minutes later the neck ole for the armor had warped and shrunk so I couldn’t use the piece. :( Please respond as soon as possible! Thanks again. ~ Jake
  25. Hey guys I know that this is a two year old topic (please don't ban me) but I just wanted to say that I HAVE created complete lego-compatible heads out of sculpey, and I found it works out really well. I published a tutorial on it on the MCW back in June. Also tin7 do you know how to smooth out the clay pieces? I tried sand paper, but that makes them rough and the sanded bits of clay stick to my piece. Thanks, ~Jake
