I'm very curious as to what this "wag" is, Susan Jr. -
Just changed my mind on several of the Speedorz sets. It's not like I wasn't going to buy them.

Guilds of Historica Introduction/General Discussion Thread
PenPlays replied to I Scream Clone's topic in Guilds of Historica
One of our excelled leaders or that one Avalonian who denies some sort of "regulation" that he is not currently doing. I would have probably said Angeli, but... Anyway. I can see this as a small vignette showing his majesty, Draconus, on a fanciful throne before a large table with the FIVE Guild Leaders at his sides. To be honest I could probably pull it off. It would just take some time to get the Bricklink, and custom armor shipments in (unless one of you could kindly ship some spares). I guess I could probably do it, that's if the Guild Leaders allow. I will make it a priority to be completed, as long as they can be patient with the orders. EDIT: I also need to find out where to get the custom parts for Lord Ssilyrrlith and Dextrus Flagg. Can anyone help? -
End my last favorite series on a high not->Continue that love through these babies!! The first thing that hit me was the blue box. They are absolutely gorgeous in that blue color, much better than red and green. The fact that the head of the centric Chi-mal (Chima+ animal, I couldn't resist) changes per box. It is much better than the random Ninja with swords/snakes. Now off to my opinions: -Speedorz Ultimate Tournament: It think that these are the two leaders, Cragger and Laval, of the factions. If that's confirmed in some sort of media, this will be the Lloyd ZX of the Speedorz. The swords are epic! -Speedorz Ice Tower: This originally sounded so epic! Most of the Speedor packs are that way, but hey, Winzar is unique to this set, it will be a must have. -Speedorz Nest Jump: If there will be any faction I will complete, its the eagles. Eglor is a shining example of why. Its also nice to see yellow hands on a minifigure that wears dark colors for a change. -Speedorz Jungle Gates: Lennox seems to be the most common Lion. This one will probably be one of my last purchases. -Speedorz Rock Bowling: Crominus looks excellent, but the "function" of the set isn't very appealing. -Speedorz Target Practice: Again, not very appealing, especially because you have to aim the cannon to successfully make a shot. Equila makes this a must have, however. The name sounds very female. -Speedorz Fire Ring: I'd say this one has the coolest looking "function". And those trans-hinges sweeten the deal. Razar makes this a must have as well. -Equila's Ultra Striker: This set reminds me of the Sentinels from Lego Universe. Beautiful, and I love those new wing pieces. -Craggers Croc-Boat HQ: The Olive hull is nice. Very different. A must. -Laval's Lion Quad: Is that a new yellow? I can see this being desirable among MOCers if that's so. Most of the Lion Vehicles are not as cool as I would have hoped. -Wak's Wolf Tracker: Probably the best of the animal faces on the vehicles. -Eris's Eagle Hunter: An eagle vehicle. Must have!! The talons do look a bit dull. -Lennox's Lion Buggy: Meh... being that I want all the minifigures, I'll get this for that brown guy with the big gun. Again Lennox put aside. -Crawley's Reptile Gripper: I like that Olive wheel, but whats with the moving treads? -Razcal's Raven Glider:...Bird vehicle... get... -Speedorz Chi Waterfall: When I saw the name of the Lion, Leonidas, I wanted to yell "This! Is! CHIMAAAA!" (Let's see who can get it ) I see too many reused Ninjago Weapons in the Speedorz, and I can see the handfuls of blue spheres we'll have once the series is over. Over all, can't wait!!

Guilds of Historica Introduction/General Discussion Thread

We could call it the "Cedrica Hall of Discussion." I would think that making it a Cedrica thread would imply that all the guilds can be involved. -
Well that's nice. TLG went above and beyond to tell us that were no-showers, besides I think we can all agree that our 2014 themes are more important.

Much like the Mafia Roleplay games, except with more leeway, and without paranoid minifigs wanting to kill each other. It an excellent idea that I would love to participate in. -

It's more like Mitgardia vs. Nocturnus. Something about Elon Chorian's head? By the way, I check here at least twice a day. I guess I should comment a bit more, I suppose. I also haven't started my Ch V MOC due to studies, but here's hoping that I, as well as the other rare-showers, will make it in time. -

We find Owlan along a path just a way outside of Scalous collecting his thoughts on the recent happenings... This place is so beautiful. It's hard for someone to think this is a time of war. Yet... the people... they scatter like ants just because one man says he's ruler of them all. He's just a wizard. Have these people fought a warlord that actually had the tact to ravage the world? They certainly aren't planning for it, but they are thinking which is a fantastic start. The hope of the people isn't lost it seems, as this "Order of Eden" has done well to seek out places of refuge. Huh. Lucky that the people of Albion live on land is protected by the magic of the ancients. Those outside are forced to live in ruins, Scalous Mound being one of them. I feel dreadfully sorry for those that will have to live there. The atmosphere will be unbearable! I'm sure, though, that Drinnian would be like a father to them. I've never met another man that has treated a complete stranger with such fatherly kindness. ...Father... I know you want me here, but... why? Why did the magicians force me into that well of rest? And what did you mean that they were the most powerful Druids that will forge the land anew, and that I shouldn't question their decisions? Why is this all that I can remember of you!?! This pendant is all that I have to remember you by outside of my own thoughts. It saddens me that you... that you are probably gone, but I will stay strong. As long as you dwell in me, I will not stop until my purpose is met. Just help me to find out exactly what that is. "Owlan!" Owlan: Who goes there? "Drinnian requests our presence at Scalous Mound" Owlan: Malivan, do not scare me like that! Malivan: I would think you would know my voice by now. Owlan stared to the ground. Malivan: Does something trouble you? Owlan: It's nothing. Let's go. * C&C is welcome! Find the Ninja (Lloyd)

The curves were the hardest part. Glad to get complemented on the time it took. 2 hours on the petals alone. About another hour for everything else. It also didn't really help that I didn't have a lot of the pieces I wanted. Originally it was not going to be build with trans-plates, but if the PAB is stocked... Thanks. Can't say I have a lot of vegetation left though...

Before the song of the bards was ever sung, there was a war. Royal King Richard of the Lions had become desperate. His father, King Leo, was killed simultaneously with their enemy, Cedric the Falcon (once of the Bull) The King of Cedrica. Now a King, he had to find a way to better the war effort. When it was brought to his attention that there were five magical gems that could enbed into a sword and give it lightning properties, he set off to find them all. The most common was a blue gem. So common that it was simply dubbed "The Blue Sword Gem." Richard had never gotten around to name it before he passed. The lesser common were a red gem and a green gem. The red gem could home upon the heat of a man's body. Being that it was a hot-headed knight who discovered this, the gem was named after him. It was dubbed the Caltar Sword Gem. The green gem was unique. It uniformly divided and conquered it's target, much like how the King's elite guard would do to protect. By their group name, the gem was dubbed the Reynar Sword Gem. Even less common was the orange gem. Once mined from the earth, the gem lightning was fired on collapsing stone, hoping to burst the rock to dust. However, the rock was frozen, suspended in the air with nothing holding it up. This gem was named after Richard's wife who passed just after their son, Orlan, was born, simply because she would freeze the King in his tracks with her sheer beauty. Thus it was dubbed the Dalios Sword Gem. The rarest of them all, the purple gem, led to near tragedy. Orlan ran into Richard's throne room just at the time the king fired the lightning from his sword. The lighting dispersed into separate random groupings and homed in on the poor boy. He survived, but to warn his knights of the devastation this gem can cause, he dubbed it the Orlan Sword Gem. Unbeknownst to the King, there was a sixth gem. A boulder was hurled at a pile of sword gems to crush them during a fight with the Black Falcons for a massive Gem mine. Days after the battle, after the stone was removed, fivesomes of the gems were slowly merging together, forming a sixth yellow gem. It was discovered later that if one were to simply set the five stones near each other, they would merge without difficulty. When the Gem was imbedded into the sword, all of the five forms of lightning could be fired from it. On the day of the final battle between King Richard and The Black Monarch, the son of Cedric; the sword fired a beacon of yellow lightning toward the Monarch. He, along with all vegetation and creatures within a focused mile's distance was enveloped in the beam of pure lightning. This gem was unstoppable, when fired upon the most evil, much like how Richard thought of his Kingdom. Thus the gem was dubbed the Denitor Sword Gem, after the Lion Kingdom itself. During the tests to forge Denitor Gems, it was discovered that when certain gems merged, they would bloom like a seed. These Flowers signified the location of seams of the Gems, but low, in the days of Historica, these gems are long forgotten, so the blooms are just a sight of unsurpassed beauty that withstand the moving of mountains, as a flower that cannot be picked. The first bloom ever discovered in Historica lies just inside the small forest at Burrium, Avalonia's center. And thus is the story of the sword gems. Thanks for reading. C&C welcome.

It is not a dark age Susan Jr., it is simply a hiatus. It will only be a dark age if you never came back... Now, let's try this again. Sigfig. Name: Owlan Age: 24 (124+) Rank: Friend of the Lord of Scalous, Burrium Owlan is a man who seeks his place in this new world. Having been in a deep sleep for years after living in a time that had just met peace, culture shock hits as the world has flourished since he can remember (which is very little). Being naive, he can be well taken advantage of. He will fight for what he is told is right. In his spare time he reads books in the Burrium hall of records, thanks to his friend Drinnian, the Lord of Scalous, who gave him access. He now lives in an abandoned Dragon den by the name of Scalous Mound, hoping that action will take, and that he would one day be recognized for the purpose of him being in Historica, whatever that is. EDIT:http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=74980 Finally got this back up! -

The Fold just released their full Ninjago album on iTunes called For the Spinners (Green album). Includes all four of the released songs, but also includes "singalongs" with no lyrics.

The drag strip build in the first video very much reminds me of the X Tornado dragstrip from Sonic X.

Let me have a go at this. Kai's Fire Robot: It definitely is River Dragon meets Mine Mech, but in such a way that really comes out as something different. i would have wanted one of the bigger stone warriors though. Samurai Bike: The Turbo Shredder and the Skull Motorbike's baby, had a baby with the Samurai Mech. It's quite the sweet baby, but I feel something is just so "the same" about every other Motorbike we've had so far. Cole's Power Drill: You think that they would have perfected these mining vehicles by now, but just like the City Mine Drill, I'm dissapointed... with the proportions. The rest of the vehicle looks like a giant rock. It suits Cole extremely well. Golden Dragon: ... Speechless... BEAUTIFUL !! Garmatron: "Let's get every black and red part, and build it into something!" The only reason I'm getting this is for the minifigures. Temple of Light: Those white highlights needed to be green. Also more gold would be nice. Garmadon isn't special, as you can piece that hat and staff of his with the other sets, also none of the figures look unique. It does come with all the swords and it still is a beautiful piece of architecture, but why couldn't this have technic pin holes on the sides so I can attach it to the Spinjitsu dojo. Disapointed by that. This set will still be one of the first I get.

^The other encyclopedia book's minifigs didn't seem Chinese to me. I'm more worried about Gold Lloyd.
