  1. A normal day on Jakku, when you just want to survive in the desert between giant crashed starships and suddenly some scavengers starting chasing you for your supplies an scrap parts.
  2. Repair Station 616 On planet Jakku, there is a great need for places, where scavengers and road warriors could repair their worn down landspeeders. Repair Station 616 is one of them, where people can fix their vehicles themselves or helped by the crew or droids, of course for the right consideration. At this place you can make mostly basic repairs to keep your speeder ready for the desert conditions. Besides the tools ans replacement parts, you could find an old pit droid, a GTAW series welding droid and even some refreshments. People of the station: The building: The speeders: Detailed look on the Ute Speeder:
  3. Ute Speeder As a scavenger, Tygio Landrew needs a proper vehicle to transport the gartered parts and machines. The Ute Speeder does it well. This speeder is based of a concept atr, that I've found online: I really like the design of this vehicle and made it in form was quite challenging. Here are some of the building techniques:
  4. Thank you! I'm working on mine very hard and now with the new deadline, I'll be able to build it as I imagined. I have 2 speeders full built, but the third ona and the garage is still in progress.
  5. Thanks. One of the important things for me usually, to find a good balance of the used colors. Thanks. In most cases, when I planning a build, I imagine it by the small details, that I want to insert in and I shape the builds around them.
  6. Nice ice and rock work, and I like the ladder and the figures, you made.
  7. *Your entry has earned 11XP* Recently our high command, received an emergency holo message from Kuat: An epidemic began to spread at several different locations there. This is a great opportunity to help the people, gain more influence on that system and get the support of their leaders at the same time. The diplomats of the Remnant are already on their way to the planet and our and our most important task is to bring as many medical supplies as possible. Foundry was a heavily industrial planet of the Techno Union, later in the era of the Galactic Empire, it was an imperial fortress and the home of several TIE fighter factories. After the end of the Empire, the planet became abandoned and the complexes are nowadays still locked down. Because these factories are huge, almost like cities, there was plenty of medical centers there too. We have a good chance to find the needed medical stuffs and this planet is halfway between Commenor and Kuat. We need to use all of our available ships to transportation, unfortunately our ship doesn't have a big cargo bay, since it was originally a transport hauler for walkers and big crates. Because of that, my squad's first mission is to find a Heavy Duty Container, in which we could we could transport the medical equipment through the hyperspace. Scar Squad is already scouting on the planet. They haven't found a med center yet, but they got info about one of the abandoned TIE fighter factories. These places are massive buildings, with several sections and landing areas, but it's our best chance, to find a proper container. We just received a message from Agent Sugy right now. Scar Squad reached the factory and she sent the location of the factory's storages to us. So now we are traveling to one of the supply warehouses of this factory... Boghi - I thought this whole place was locked down, but it doesn't seems to be. Gubi - Probably scavengers or some pirates did this. Boghi - This whole lock is broken, fortunately they left the door open. Gubi - Let's open the door. We need to be careful, don't know, what's going on inside. Andrysh - It's clear! Gubi - Boghi, is there any chance to make some light? Boghi - The building was locked down, but the backup power supply should work. Let's see the main switch. Gubi - Great, now we have lighting. I believe the main storage room is that way, let's move! Gubi - Here it is, this container could be the proper one for our purpose. Andrysh - There is quite a big mess here. Boghi - It looks like, most of the crates are empty. Andrysh - But at least the container is empty too, so we don't have to unload it. Gubi - The situation here is getting more and more interesting. Who needs so many replacement parts for TIE fighters? Gubi - As we now have this container, we need to open the big door of the warehouse and get a carriage to move this thing. Boghi - Probably we should check the control room upstairs. Gubi - Agree and maybe we could learn, what happened really here. Then let's go. Boghi - It looks like they have been here too. Gubi - Can you turn on the system? Boghi - I hope, I can. It should work with the backup power supply. Boghi - Yeah, it's working, I'm in. And... Done. The door is open now. And I have access to security recordings too. Gubi - Good. What can you see? Boghi - It's hard to tell, it's quite old equipment. I see a ship. It looks like the corvettes was used by the Rebel Alliance back in the day. Andrysh - Could it be the New Republic? Boghi - Negative. This is black and yellow coloured. And I see an insignia too. Gubi - What is it, pirates? Boghi - I just checked it in our datebase. This one is looks the most like the insignia of the Mining Guild. Gubi - Of course, I should have known. The Mining Guild was once really close to the Empire and they are useing TIEs still nowdays. Andrysh - Let's find a carriage and pick up that container finally. Gubi - You're right, dont waste any more time. Now we finally have the container and we are on our way to find a proper medical center, here on Foundry.
  8. Y-Wing 45% off, micro's half prize.
  9. *Your entry has earned 23XP* After the battle of Jakku and the destruction of the Empire, we alongside the remaining troops, traveled from planet to planet on board of cruisers and corvettes. We lived onbroad of the ships for months, but on most of that, we only got a couple beds in crowded rooms. As we joined to the Commenor Remnant, we continued to serve as a Special Forces Squad. We found an old Imperial AT-Hauler in an abandoned depot. These kind of ships were used to move cargo and Walkers around the battles, and it's perfect for our missions. I've got powerful engines, hyperdrive, armoured cockpit and even a shower for longer trips. However, we've made some modifications to the vehicle, we added a couple more seats to it and a bed too, that makes the interior a bit more crowded, but now we all can sit down in the cockpit and someone from the team could always rest onboard. The other big change, we made, is that we needed to update the navigation computer, to allow us to travel wherever we need. The main place of our Faction is Commenor, which was an Imperial planet like many others surrounding ones. Uquine was a modern Imperialized world with great agricultural past. After the fall of the Empire, a these planets becomed independent, but some place remained loyal to the legacy of the Empire. Usually when we need to go back to Commenor, we are accommodated in a hotel at one of Uquine's main city, Urqanis. This building was formerly used by imperial officers and special guests, and now it's offered to the Remnant. It's funny, how I got the Room No. 2 on the 22nd floor, since my codename as a Stormtrooper was TG-0222. Now this place is the closest thing to be called "home", here we can relax a bit between the missions.
  10. @Daddy_Stardust The computers in your cockpit looks good. I like the way you attached the AT-ST, I'm planned to do something similar to yours, but I'm still trying to build it some way foldable.
  11. I'm really liking the new quinjet. I like the previous ones pretty much, including the scaled down versions. This new one is the most similar to the first, but it's improved in design and I think it'll have the rotors built in the wings. Whit this beautiful build, I care less about the minifigs. Cap's bike is a good figure and parts pack. War machine is ok too and I like the new Ant-Man helmet.
  12. Finally my MOD is finished. You can see it here with detailed tutorial included.
  13. Hello everyone! I'm finally here to show my simple modifications for the 75219 Imperial AT-Hauler set. Since the first concept pictures of this model leaked, I wanted it in Lego form. I really liked the overall look and the idea of a smaller imperial cargo ship, which could bring the walkers into battles. When the pics of the actual set released, it received a lot of criticism for its size and colour. I liked the appearance of the set, looked sturdy and I'm quiet liked the idea of the chosed colours. Probably when the build was designed, they had concept arts, where the final colour of the ship wasn't clear and I think the light bluish gray parts with white works well for very light gray, and it looks good with Imperial shuttles and Landing Crafts. It's not as big problem as the color of Kylo's Shuttle. Based on the official images, I have only 2 problems with the model. The first is the technic hook builds to hold the cargo, which is a decent play feature, but nut too accurate and doesn't look good too. The other problem I had, was the fact that only one figure could fit in the relatively big looking cockpit. As the instructions released for this set, I started working on this modification. Firstly I build one of the "arm" of the ship in LDD to see how could I fit the winches. I usually like to the minimum added parts when I modifying a set. When the LDD file for the whole set became available in the Official LEGO Sets made in LDD, I used that to finalizing the arms and started to make more room in the cockpit. I wanted to make big improvement with as fewer changes as possible. So here is it: Tutorial Winches Here is the original build at the beggining: For this modification you'll need this coupple parts. The first move is to remove the whole technic mechanism, which is part of the main play feature. For that, as first step, the plates from all three sides of both arms needs to remove. After that you could take apart the technic axles inside. I'll use a couple of pieces from the cargo, which is included in the set and spare parts as well. And here are all parts from the technic mechanism. The next step is to installing the string and the winch system, so firstly you secure the hooks to both strings with a knot. Than you have to lace through the string in the holes of the two light bluish gray L shaped pieces. You need use only the first two holes, after that you could pull the free ends of the strings out to sideways. The next thing to build is the winches, and its needs these parts. As the space is limited, we need the smallest parts what could use for its task. Because of that, the red technic bush will be our winch drum. You could lace the string trough the two opening of the bush and then you could put it on the axle. For placing this small assembly the long gray technic brick need to be removed from its place. You put together the two part and then you secure the winch drum with two light gray 1x3 liftarm and one small gray bush. You put back the whole thing to the arm and do the same thing on the other side. After that the plate sidings could go back to the sides of the arms and the you can put the steering wheel pieces to the dark gray axles. So here is the ship with the working winches, you could operate them by turning the steering wheels on the sides of the "wings". In the next step we remove the bigger technic panels and need to chang the position of the technic pieces on it. After you put back it to the underside of the wings, you can see that these change not only moves them down by 1 brick, but it becomes a stop to the wings, when you fold it in flight position. That doesn't let the wing to fold the wings to low, wich was another big problem of the original model. On these two pics you can see how the original one(left) is much lower than the modified one(right) Than comes a couple small details. You can add the smaller technic panels to the bigger ones and put dark gray pin connectors to the four exposed tan pins of the landing gears. And these parts can use on the front ends of the wings. Cockpit The problem with the cockpit is that it's designed to be very sturdy and solid, but unfortunately that makes the inside small. The main thing you could do is lowering the floor of it, but for that we need to take apart the whole structure. From the side panels we have to take off the black curved pieces, because they are in the way of the figures arms. The next thing to do is to put the gray wedges to the insides of the sidepanels from the outsides of them. OntThe original design, when you close the roof of the cockpit, it moves the sides out. With the wedges inside makes the side panels to reach the windshield and the distance between them allows the roof to fold properly. After the cockpit is completely taken apart, we need to rebuild its floor. With lower floor and thinner sides, we could fitt more figures inside, so we add a couple smal black panel pieces from the cargo container build and these will be our seats. In the original set the stickers for the controplanels is placed on a slope and on a tile, but I wanted to use two slopes(inspired by the cockpit of the set 75094), so I placed the sticker on a 2x3 black slope instead of the tile. After the floor is finished we need to rebuild the ship the same way as we disassembled it. So here is the final model. I'm very satisfied with this model. The winches working good and the look of the ship improved well. The cockpit could fit four minifigures total, it's a little bit crowded, but does its job. You could operate the winches very easy and with the two hooks you can lift up a lot of different things. If you needs mor stability to your cargo, then you can pull out a loop of the strings at the bottom of the wings, and you could hook those loops to a couple added pieces. Comparison with the oroginal(left): These are the leftover parts from the set: I didn't want to put the stickers to the cargo container, because they are such a cool designs and I want to use them in further MOCs, so I placed them on a couple of tiles. I really hope, you liked this small modification. The only thing, that I'm planning to design is a technic structure, what can grab the latest AT-ST. You can find my full album: Here
  14. Thanks, those scenes was in my mind for months now, I'm not completely satisfied with them, but I was very limited by time. @Nicotoa @mccoyed Thanks! I didn't expect to be noticed such quickly. Since I've played the battle of Jakku in first new BF's multi, I wanted to build this kind of scene. I didn't played with the 2nd one, but I've seen several walkthroughs of the campaign. During building it I was able to buy the inferno bp early, and after that my first ide was, that this scene would be a nice easter egg for the moc. I'll update the post with a couple of behind the scenes shots, where they are more visible.
  15. Previously in SoNE: I'm Captain Gubi Totho a former Stormtrooper know as TG-0222. After the successfully evacuation from the moon of Endor, we returned to our home base on Takodana and we served there for a little time as patrols and security units. As we was promised, we were promoted and send to trainings to a still working academy. All of us have gotten different specialized trainings and pilot trainings too. We have learned to control a good variety of different vehicles, such as Fighters, Shuttles, Speeders and Walkers as well. I was named as the leader of our squad, so I learned commanding and got tactical training. Boghi (BG-0329) has become the technical expert of the team so she can use all kind of different control panels to open all doors, locks and craits. Andrysh (BN-0303) is our sharpshooter and he is a scout too. After completing our trainings, we've become a Special Forces Squad of the Galactic Empire. In the following times we were send to a couple secret missions, where we gained practice. Suddenly most of the available imperial units were ordered to the planet Jakku, where the remaining rebels attacked the Empire. Our mission from the High Command was to rescue out as many Officers, as we can. We need a lot of them to keep the System working, so or mission was a top priority one. That was one of the biggest battle of our era, fighters flew everywhere, capital ships crashed to the surface, the whole place was chaotic. Unfortunately there was not much to us to do, but we must try everything we can.
  16. I really like how you made the lower part completely gray, but the good lighting and photographing adds a good amount of depth to the small details and it looks stunning.
  17. Gubi was a former Stormtrooper as TG-0222, currently he is a leader of a special forces squad of the Commenor Remnant.
  18. Thank you! Of course you can do, but I'm not quite happy with my design. I'll work on it in the future and I really like the arms of yours.
  19. Hello everyone! This week I was lucky enough to find the new 75226 Inferno Squad Battle Pack early at my local hypermarket. This set is basically based on the campaign of the latest Battlefront 2 game. I really like all the Battlefront games and I want the main characters since the new one released. There could be find some really cool custom minifigures on the internet, but I always prefer the official ones more even if the custom ones could be much more detailed. So I was very excited, when the first rumours said they will come in a battle pack. Details Name: 75226 Inferno Squad Battle Pack Theme: Star Wars/Battlefront Year: 2019 (1H) Pieces: 118 Minifigures: 4 Price: USD 14.99 Source and more info: Brickset Box The size of the box is the common battle pack box size, which most of the bp's use. This set has the new 2019 box art, which features Darth Vader on the right corner and the Star Wars logo in black next to the LEGO logo. These two are in good contrast with the white background. The white background is nicely detailed by imitating a lot of actual pieces in white and this goes around each side of the box. The front shows all the minifigures and the build of this set in the middle of an action scene. According the background it takes place on the forest moon of Endor and this location was featured in the game too. The back shows the speeder landed with the figures in different poses and the vehicle's stud shooter in action. On the sides continuous the nice white background and besides the usual texts have the logo of the LEGO Life App and a minifig for size reference. Build As usual to the battle packs the box contains two unnumbered bags and a small instructions. The instructions book is smaller than the previous battle packs had. This new one is the same size that the Microfighters have and because of that, they don't have to folding it. The new instructions in 2019 have QR codes printed on the front and you could scan these with the LEGO Life App to use digital instructions. At the back of the book ther are an ad for the Life App and how to use the QR code, there are pics of other new sets and the minifigs of those sets, plus there is the partslist to. The set a lot of good different type and colored pieces, but nothing too special. The completed build of the set is a unique looking speeder. Just like some other small battle pack vehicles, neither this one based on an actual thing from the Star Wars universe, but it could fit into any collection. The designers made a good work to capture the feeling of imperial ships by the shapes and make an interesting looking speeder. The colors they've used reminds me the Corvus, which is the main ship of the squad plus they added a couple of red parts, which refers to the symbols of the team. The main part of the bps are of course the minifigures, so if you only need them, there are a lot of useful pieces for MOC building in this set. It has a lot of different kind of pieces, such as wedge plates and technic pieces. The model is very compact and uses several building techniques to get differently oriented parts. The wings are nicely angled with a couple of technic parts and the are quite sturdy. The main play features are the stud shooters on the side of the two wings. Besides them it has 4 imitated blasters too. The vehicle could fit only one of the figs, but the seat has only two studs and it makes very easy to remove the pilot.(sometimes too easy...) The only "weak" part is the engine at the back, what is heald just two technic pins. Minifigures As I've said before, in most cases you'll buy this kind of set mostly for the minifigures. Here they are the members of the Inferno Squad, which is an imperial special forces unit. In the video game it contains three person, Commander Iden Versio, Gideon Hask and Del Meeko. The story has a prequel as a book and there the squad had a fourth member, Syen Marana. The main character, Iden, got a new accurate headprintig and a recolored hairpiece, but she doesn't has a helmet. All the other figs have helmet instead of hairpieces. Since the introduction of the stud shooters, the figures in the bps usually comes with them instead the nicer, smaller blaster pieces. This is also the case here, but they tried to make some differences of the weapons by adding a couple of pieces to them. It's a good move, but still doesn't feel the best option. Iden has unique torso printing, the others have new printing too, but they all have the same design. In the perfect case this one will be Hask's and Del would get another different print. Del has more ammo packs and pockets on his armor, because of that the minifig got the Batman belt piece in black. This is a nice addition, it makes this one even cooler and fortunately in the set is a spare one of that piece, which is really useful in this color. The printed leg pieces looks great and all of them has the same. In this set only Iden has a new and double-sided head, but fortunately all the figures have different faces. I think the faces for Iden, Del and Gideon fits perfectly, but unfortunately the fourth one is just the generic male trooper head. Summary This battle pack is on of the better ones with a good selection of well made minifigures and a nice small speeder with a lot of useful pieces. It's a relatively cheap way to get main characters or just beautiful figure parts. If you like Battlefront 2 this is the perfect set for you, if not, even than this could be very special addition for anyones Imperial collection. because the new trend of putting named characters in battle packs, they lost the army building value, but I think in this case the minifigures could serve a nice base for your custom imperial members. In a perfect word all of figures would come with hairpieces and helmets too, but I think I'll give the generic troopers helmet to Iden and use the rest of that fig for customization. I recommend this set to any Star Wars collector, and even if you only want the figures. Play: 7/10 (The stud shooters gives the set the most playfeature, but the speeder is very swooshable too) Design/Build: 8/10 (Nothing too special in design wise, but the whole build feels sturdy and complete) Minifigures: 9/10 (They are the star of the set, would've been perfect with four helmets, hairpieces and normal blasters) Price/Value: 8/10 (If you really want these figures, it deffinetly worth the price, but for discounted price you couldn't miss it) Overall: 8/10 (Great set for both collections and playing) My whole album of the set: Bricksafe A bonus picture with additional hairpieces, blasters and custom Iden's droid:
  20. On Monday I bought the 75213 Advent Calendar with 40% off: And on Friday these:
  21. I really like this wave. The Dodge srt and the F40 is definite buy for me and the Camaro too, but I'll modify it to a streetcar. The McLaren looks cool too, but not my favourite, either the Mini set. Nice to see that, the Charger is based off on that car, the only difference is that the Lego model has a "Hemi" logo on the back, in the red stripe. Probably there will be a flat hood piece for the Charger to swap with the super charger. The printed sided plates are awesome, and it looks like the Camaro has one too.(The Chevrolet sign on the back) The driver of the Challenger has a beautiful black suit with a white Demon logo and some stripes. Btw, is the Challenger the first SC car with actual side mirrors?
  22. I'm a bit disappointed of the helmets in the Praetorian Guard BP. That is one thing that we don't get 3 variants, but if you buy 2 BP and the Throne room set to have all the 8 guards. Because there are only 2 helmet variants, in that case you will have 4 of both. In the movie 6 have very similar looking ones(4 have the same) so the original one could work for them, so I think that would be better if the bp has 1 new and 2 old helmets. The weapons needs some work, for the blade Electro-bisento would be better the curved blade from the new ninjago weapon pack. The build is nice whit all of the accesiores, but if I would have multiples, I'll build attachments from them for both sides of the throne room. Than maybe all of the guards could stand there. Btw the A-wing is cute.
  23. I'm currently working in it in LDD. I lowerd the floor of the cocpkpit and added a few more seats, in a layout such as in the set 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium. So it could fit 4 minifigs. I changed the mechanism in the arms too. I've tooked out the the technic bars and built in a string and winch in each arm. But I'm not yet figured out, how could I make the best liftarms, tha could hold an At-St and be able to fold up. I'm countinuing to work on it, and once I get the set I'll make a post with instructions.
  24. Thank You! I appreciate it and I am glad you like it. Because I'm not able to build bigger layouts, my build are shaped by lot of small details. When I imagine the story, that I made, gives a lot of ideas for the little background details and for the look of the scenes. I'm very glad for the inspirations SoNE gives me and I can't wait for Factions.
