  1. And totally a member of ToroLUG already so not slant drilling there Ted! XD Having Ricecraker, Si-MOCs, and Rook as LUG members wasn’t enough, so we’ve subcontracted an actual superhero to help us with our world domination MOCs.

    Wing foils are lovely. :)
  3. Not being able to order any Lego set no matter the year or location or release. I.E. Items excusive to Europe. Or being able to order sets from Lego.com that older than a year.
  4. All of them. I would love to have the money and space to leave all my MOCs on display.
  5. Ah nice title, BW2013 MEGA Creation "Winner". Little weird. Rather not have a title I didn't actually earn and only a handful of people will get it.
  6. I Finally got around to picking up the Master Builder Academy sets while I was at Brickworld. You can't get them here in Canada and I had recently spent a lot of money on Lego. So wanted to buy something yet not spend too much. The result, I played around with the sets building the 3 builds each and reading the "tips". Then I moved on to the well needed creativity. Angles of Light

About 10 minutes before everyone walked in on Sunday I noticed I had reattached a section incorrectly. I decided to leave it or would have had it pulled apart in several pieces to fit it when the masses rushed in! O.o

    A Toronto Affair

What would you change the alien scene too? Cleanly you haven't used the TTC. It's one of the cleanest transit systems I've been on. And the builds are not based on any specific builds but the vibe of the builds that you find on Queen St W near Spadina Ave. Check out Google's street view of: 352 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada then if scroll east bound until hit skyscrapers you can see the vibe of the street. \This has to be one of favorite parts of the city and maybe even of the world simply because of its extreme bio and ethnic diversity: Suits, Hookers, Street Kids, Soccer Mom's, Hippies, Students, and every kind over dressed and underdressed genera in between.

Ah man that ones not going to get old for a while.
  10. Not surprising at all. This why China is becoming the most dominate economy. Build crap and they will buy it.
  11. This guy?
  12. Loaded pics to Flickr from Brickworld.
  13. Would have loved to get on this years group display. I was barely able to finish what I brought, and as it was it was still missing more than I wished. :/
  14. I imagine him standing on a towering gold plated platform overseeing a valley of canvas tents with smoky fire pits and livestock. Shouting out commands to his thousands of minions, as they assemble his master pieces. "I need more bricks!"

  16. Cool. I think one of favorite parts of building is trying to name a MOC.
  17. I'm crawling the walls! About 7 hours until I leave! :flail:
  18. Should embed your images. Looks like a great frame work for a massive complete body project! :)
  19. So what's the association with an actual blunderbuss? Or did you just like the name?
  20. Here, found the ETAs I was talking about. Jedi Starfighters by RΟΟK, on Flickr Yeah those are nice I just spotted them a day or two ago as well.
  21. Not to be rude but I've hung tons of stuff from the ceiling in my old Lego room. All the way up to a 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker. Here’s what you need: 1. Planter hooks (I used the one with pop out brace. You can use the regular screw types but then you have to find a support beam.) 2. Drill 3. Invisible Tread Now the trick of Invisible thread is two things, lighting and background. Lighting behind the thread will make it visible and dark backgrounds will make it visible. So best of luck learning that part. I also found with heavier models that it you can double up the thread count as you need but of course the more threads the stronger the likelihood of being able to see them. Never the less it’s pretty cool even when you can see the threads. You’ll notice a couple smaller ships hanging down into this image. Rook's Rook [Revisited] by RΟΟK, on Flickr

Sweet, you'll note the ship, Vic Viper, has been in my signature for a while. It's nice to finally have a landing pad for it.
  23. Yeah I did a whole fleet of ETAs once. I'd definitely recommend doing it yourself. It’s good way of working out possible color schemes for future projects. I.E. Note the color scheme of my current projects (in signature image).

Pathetic no, inspire others to push themselves further, absolutely. :) Hint, it’s not actually a square base plate. It’s actually an irregular hexagon.

Here's some choice shots. Since the original post I uploaded about 20 more pictures to my photostream. Angles of Light by RΟΟK, on Flickr Angles of Light by RΟΟK, on Flickr Angles of Light by RΟΟK, on Flickr
