  1. Will there be a GWP for the X-Mansion set? Maybe Deadpool could show up in that. I feel like Lego will want to capitalize on his upcoming movie even if they can't go the route of making an actual set for him.
  2. From the description, I'm also getting the vibes that the set is just the cubes and may not feature any minifigures.
  3. I would rather see this, more DA sets that go with the D2C versions rather than more DA sets that match up with the playline WWW. The Leaky Cauldron would be great to get the entrance to Diagon Alley and Madam Malkins to get the book accurate version of when Harry met Draco. He's generally got blue skin in most versions so that's another reason to skip the Hogwarts Legacy version where, frankly, he looks too much like the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. The cut Rik Mayall version from the first movie is a little too plain in design for my taste so I hope any minifigure wouldn't reflect that. The Jim Kay illustrated editions of the books feature Peeves as well but he's very creepy looking and resembles the Penguin from Tim Burton's Batman. So I agree with you that if we do get a Peeves minifigure again, I hope they'd go with the Hogwarts Mystery or Wizards Unite versions. The Hogwarts Mystery version looks closer to what I would imagine him to resemble though as the Wizards Unite version is a little too human looking for my taste.
  4. I would actually like to see Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather included as well as unlikely as that is. If we can get all seven dwarfs, it would be nice to get the three good fairies too. With Phillip, we'll still be missing princes like Eric, the Beast, and John Smith.
  5. Is this real or just a hope?
  6. Wasn't the first one a bestseller? I've been hoping for a companion set like Owl's Treehouse (although I'd love to see Rabbit's Burrow with garden or Piglet's house as well). We could use Christopher Robin, Owl, Kanga, and Roo (and maybe Gopher too). However, I'm surprised the Sesame Street set didn't get a second one yet since that was also very successful and it was even built to be expanded on with that empty wall.
  7. I would like to see the Burrow themed to to Bill and Fleur's wedding or at least a wedding tent and a CMF series with the characters in their wedding attire.
  8. It's sad that we have to specify that.
  9. Oh yes, the memory/force projection by Leia. I noted the facial hair too which didn't match up with his death scene from TFA. Knowing Harrison Ford, you're right that he probably couldn't bother to put the effort in shaving and no one was going to tell him otherwise since they probably felt they were lucky he agreed to the cameo.
  10. Was he supposed to have facial hair in Star Wars originally?
  11. Whatever Hogwarts we get next, I just hope we get actual classrooms since the modular system never bothered with that outside of the original Chamber of Secrets set. Actual classrooms, dungeons, and common rooms.
  12. Not really. 90s Marvel was ruled by Spider-Man and the X-Men. The FF and Avengers were not very popular during this period hence the Heroes Reborn reboot which was an attempt to reinvigorate these two teams but that was a flop so Heroes Return brought them back to main Marvel continuity. Avengers didn't get a boost until the Kurt Busiek, back to basics, relaunch where Wanda was very prominently featured. But even then, the Avengers didn't became Marvel's #1 team/book until the 2000s with the New Avengers launch which was predicated on Wanda being fridged to eliminate the classic Avengers. Comic book heritages are not flexible except in the case of Magneto and his former children because they've all been dealt with retcon after retcon. The same way his original daughter, Polaris, was introduced as his daughter but then it turned out she wasn't and that Magneto was really a robot...and for almost 35-40 years she wasn't his daughter until the 2000s reestablished her as his biological child. This is around the same time Magneto took over New York and began a widespread slaughter of humans, placing the rest of them in concentration camps, until this became too controversial and he was killed off and retconned as an imposter.
  13. I'm guessing this was a decision by Disney. But then again, Lego didn't make any sets for the third Fantastic Beasts movie either so that seems to imply it's not just a studio thing (unless WB also made the same decision) but Lego itself felt some of these sequels were going to underperform/flop and weren't worth making merchandise for.
  14. Yeah, this is completely incorrect. Wanda and Pietro were never created as Jewish, unlike Ben Grimm and Kitty Pryde. They were introduced as hailing from a generic Eastern European country with Romani heritage. In the 70s, Marvel retconned their past so they were really the children of two Golden Age American superheroes. This did not sit well with artist/writer John Byrne, who felt it was strange that two all-American characters would name their children Wanda and Pietro over say Winnie and Peter. So their parentage was retconned again in the late 70s to make it so that Magneto and Magda were their parents. And this was a fact that was only supposed to be known to readers but never brought up explicitly in the comics. Magneto was not Jewish at all when this happened. It was another writer, Chris Claremont, who years later, retconned Magneto as being a Holocaust survivor to turn him into an anti-hero. Claremont has pretty much never acknowledged Wanda and Pietro as Magneto's kids during his 17 years on the X-Men. In turn, Byrne was never supportive of the idea that Magneto was Jewish. In the years that Magneto became outed as Wanda and Pietro's father, there was never any attempt to have them recognize their Jewish heritage that now only existed because of a retcon and a retcon of a retcon. In fact, storylines focused on Wanda's Romani heritage which she already had before Magneto became her father and also from the fact that her new mother, Magda, was Romani. In the 90s, Magneto's heritage was briefly retconned again so that like Magda, he was now Romani. I think this was reverted back to him being Jewish in the 2000s or around that time. In all this time, Wanda's only heritage that was explored was her being Romani and a mutant married to an android with human kids while Pietro's heritage was him being a mutant married to an Inhuman with a human daughter. Finally, the twins' parentage was retconned (yet again) so Magneto was no longer their father. They got new parents now who were also Romani and Wanda's Romani heritage has continued to be explored in current storylines. So the only accusation you can make here is that Wanda and Pietro had their Romani heritage stripped from them in the MCU and there was backlash about that in online circles. The same is true for Doctor Doom who is also of Romani heritage and was never presented as such in any of his film depictions.
  15. The minifigures were Pinocchio, Ariel, Belle, Aladdin, Stitch, and Elsa. Some, like Stitch and Pinocchio, would be easy to reuse. I personally wouldn't expect Lego to go out of their way to add more minifigs to that list than what we're seeing (as nice a surprise as Lilo or Beast would be). Maybe they'd cut some stuff out like the Cinderella coach or Pride Rock if they want to just focus on vignettes associated with the minfigs. I'd still like to see a Simba figure though since they did Dumbo and Bambi and we are lacking in animal Disney characters. I like your idea more of having Disney duos since we are missing Beast, Geppetto, and Eric and this would be an easy way to collect them. Although Eric might be a tough fit since the Little Mermaid vignette was of Ariel, Flounder, and Sebastian underwater. I don't see Lego making so many new minifigs though so I think they'll just stick with one character per vignette like originally depicted.
  16. Maybe they could give us Stitch with a hula skirt instead. Probably the reason that set was chosen was because it utilized already existing minifigures minus Belle. I know people thought the Alice hair mold was gone until it resurfaced as a minidoll. Considering how that Little Mermaid set is currently one of the discounted sets along with the infamous Hulkbuster and Black Panther bust sets, I think even Lego has realized there's no market for that. Let's just hope they learned that lesson in time for the Snow White set.
  17. What about the Target contest set?
  18. I don't blame DC fans. I've heard they pretty much just reuse Harley and the Joker set after set. The Target set might be the most promising when it comes to finally getting Belle since she was featured as part of that. We'll still be missing the Beast though. Every other character in that set design was a repeat though. For some characters, like Ariel and Elsa, I wonder if they even have the hair molds still available. I would love to see Ariel with a new hair design (featuring a flower) or a new tail. For Elsa, maybe we could get a Frozen II Elsa instead of her from the first movie. Maybe a Prince Ali Aladdin instead of street rat Aladdin. Could we get Figaro to go with Pinocchio and Cleo on the raft? Or an animal figure for Pride Rock representing Simba?
  19. I would definitely have purchased it then! And we're going to get Stitch without Lilo in that Target winner set as well so I wonder how many more Stitch sets we'll get before we finally get Lilo.
  20. I only vaguely know of her from the comics but had no idea that was an actual arc for her. Marvel is much better off cutting this character. The entire film is already being reshot anyway due to script complications especially with the Kang debacle and the failure of The Marvels. I'm not expecting this film to do well anyway based on tracking.
  21. Stitch set is nice although still hoping for a Lilo minifigure. At least Stitch's color is closer to the shade of blue he is in the movie. His minifigures are too pale of a blue.
  22. What an improvement. Looks like they added yellow bands to his arms as well.
  23. Thanks for confirming. Seems like the best we could expect is exclusive minifigures then for Comic-Con. The game's two main protagonists will be Wolverine and Jean Grey so hopefully Lego will make them like they did with Peter and Miles.
  24. Did the Insomniac Spider-Man games ever get any Lego sets? With the new Wolverine video game by Insomniac leaked, I'm curious if we might get tie-in sets for that eventually when it comes out in 2025.
  25. Here's hoping. $60 is definitely more feasible for this set than $85 especially considering the lack of leg printing on Cyclops or the plain hair on Rogue.
