  1. Thanks for this peaceful MOC in these dark times. I hope that the monkey will get the banana.
  2. Fine build, fine beach, fine torsos - pity it is for the wrong side
  3. Thanks for that feedback. Those torsos: I think most of them are coming from the Pirate Decal / Torso Library.
  4. Pretty fine MOC and story! More dangerous plants, please!
  5. Ok, my MOC was first - and then Garmadon twisted his usual style so that both would somehow fit Thanks for your kind comment! I've been checking that out. I actually missed the MOC when it came out
  6. There is no other way to create new armies - but: only the Marderianians have stickers/decals. I had the decent Eslandolean uniforms printed (bragging going on in the background) Thanks . A funny name was the least I could do. I mean I could not do much more as the story was more or less fixed. I had thought about whether the stud shooter had been fired - but then I did not enjoy the idea of a MOC with too many bodies... Thank you, Sir! Ok - if "regular Dingy" is the TLG standard boat then I did not want to use it. (And I guess there must be additional ships not shown in the scene because there are way to many man on that beach - they would not have fit) Yepp, that was the reference I had in mind. From a military point of view I have somehow adopted the "George Lucas approach to battle scenes": The enemy armies just run towards each other. (Great movies btw.) ok, but the Marderianians are fleshies - and everybody knows that I am not so fond of fleshies. They work for a despicable enemy
  7. Entry for CH V Cat B: The Death of Brickwall Jackson http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/148142-ch-v-cat-b-the-death-of-brickwall-jackson/
  8. As part of Eslandola's military actions against Mardier Colonel Brickinson has organised an Eslandolean attack on Skaford Heights. The assault was a success - the Marderien Yellow Coats were routed. But sadly General Brickwall Jackson caught a Marderien bullet and died on the battlefield. I think I was able to cover all requirements for this part of the challenge: - beach landing - Marderien defense - death of a hero - max. 48 x 48 studs - inclusion of my sigfig And it is all in one scene! (just several pictures of it). C&C Welcome.
  9. Thanks for this very elaborate feedback. Much appreciated! Merci bien! Plant monsters??? Feel free to copy the bridge. I tried some oat variations mostly in form but also in.colour.
  10. March 617 An Oat Plantation | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola
  11. Sure, you can find some more pictures on flickr. Thanks a lot! I think I took the pictures outside on a cloudy day. Thanks - yes, some gold pieces have been included. Yes, you have spotted the infamous Captain Cookie (he probably has a day off). I think I will go for a patent for fast growing trees! It was a pleasure working with you.
  12. Oat, this is a very nice completion of our collaboration! The fireplace has turned out nice, just to mention one detail.
  13. Sorry about that title. I would like to present the first part of an Eslandola plantation collaboration of Garmadon & Captain Braunsfeld: The EWTC Oat Planation of Pontelli. If you look carefully you might spy some strange characters: ... strange transporting activities ... .. birds that need to be fed... .. and sometimes, trees are growing overnight: Size of this grand EWTC plantation part: 64 x 64. C&C Welcome. Over to Garmadon.
  14. I have a slight feeling that I misunderstood this part of the challenge... Anyway: fine crowded tree!
  15. I spot a current MOC-tendency for "falling assassins".
  16. Fine scene, I like the collection of all those flags.
  17. Shocking and tragic scene - great action!
  18. Thanks. I forgot that. Is any voting up now or how is this going to continue?
  19. I have to be creative. Or I cannot participate in the challenges.... I'd be happy to see that Trojan Walrus!
  20. The scene is well captured!
  21. Looks like a fine cathedral to me.
  22. Thanks. Why "but"? - "and" would also work in your sentence. Ok, sorry - but then again that is the advantage of putting the MOCs for a competition out early - the disadvange is that the MOC will not be as present in everyone's mind at the time of the competition deadline. Yes, you have well spotted the beast's tongue. I could have added some eye brows... Outcropping? I probably need to learn some new words here.
  23. Fine small scene - good luck against the Spire! We will all need it!
  24. So many comments - great! Yepp, that mountain was fun to do. And the "machine" too. Thanks a lot! I think I should do some more rockwork .. but the challenge wanted me to build this dangerous machinery of war... Thanks - I doubt that I can build a badger. I thought it was a nice addition to Kaliphlin to have those "Arizone-type rocks". Thank you! Cartoonish feel? I only build serious MOCs. Or am I confusing "serious" and "silly" again? A non-Trojan monkey can be seen on the left... maybe he has conceived the whole thing...
  25. beautiful creation - great use of different building techniques!
