  1. I think I mentioned on flickr that I like this very much Great job on the facial expression of the statue!
  2. Awaiting further chapters! (Yes, a storyline is a dangerous game within itself... )
  3. Quite good, both from a plantation and a landscaping point of view. Looks like LDD - I think it would be expensive to build the same with bricks. Those plant thingies are dear...
  4. Thank Zeus it is not overloaded with gold. I was not sure what to expect Fine build!
  5. Thanks. It was helpful for me that I built lots of furniture some time back ....
  6. Great MOC, bringing strange ancient building styles to BoBS.
  7. Apparently I had not found enough time in the past months to register my builds: [ESL] Merrynight in Pontelli (Mini-Challenge, Cat B) | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola We've been MUGGED | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola [MRCA] A Drastic Change of Mood | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola CH V Cat A - Willst Thou Marry Me? | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola Scenes from the Eslandolean Parliament | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola Stand and Deliver | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola Too Much Monkey Business | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola Tiptoe Through The Wheat Field | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola Stealing from the Rich | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola
  8. I need to catch up here: [ESL] Merrynight in Pontelli (Mini-Challenge, Cat B) Too Much Monkey Business [Esl FB] An apple a day keeps the pirate away Did you know that there is a regular apple transport ship going from Pontelli to Nova Terelli?
  9. Thanks - yepp, there is definitely some Tintin inspiration in there... Praise for the crowbar goes to TLG.... Thank you! This is a very distinguished highwayman... Thanks. I am trying to A pleasure.
  10. Ah you have spotted the tiny overhand of the roof! Yepp, one of the marvels of this huge build! ... and it only took 5 hours to build!
  11. [The Secret of the 8 Provinces - Prelude] [The Secret of the 8 Provinces - 1st Chapter] The Secret of the 8 Provinces - 2nd Chapter The Secret of the 8 Provinces - 3rd Chapter The Secret of the 8 Provinces - 4th Chapter Captain Cookie continued: And so the highwayman .... Lady De Summer: Does this man actually have a name? Oh, yes. He called himself the "Red Fandango". Lady De Summer: Hardly his real name... So the Red Fandango finally had three ships in his possession. Lady De Summer: Three? You have only mentioned two models that he has stolen or robbed! Quite right. He had inherited the third ship. Or rather the "first" ship. He had found it in the attic of his family home after his father had passed away. And he also knew what to expect from the models. He just had to take them apart. Lady De Summer: (gasping) Hidden in the hull of the first ship was a sea map. And the second model produced another map - showing specific islands in that sea region. He had to pay attention not to ruin his fine red coat as the second map had partly been drowned in some blueberry juice or so. ... and the third ship? Contained a map showing a certain bay on an unspecified island. I cannot quite follow. What are all these maps about? Well, madam, the maps were chosen and designed in such a way that you would only find the destination once you had all three of them. The first one defined a large region of the sea. But you would not know what to do with it. The second one specified an island - which you would not be able to locate without the first map. The final map then displays the location of a special bay on that island. And what is to be found in that bay? The famous wreck of the "8 Provinces"! My dear captain, you need to help me out: What was the "8 Provinces"? That, my dear Lady, I will be telling you in a minute. [to be continued]
  12. From captain to pineapple owner? Let's see where this story goes
  13. Thanks - and a pleasure. I'll have to provide a picture of Mr. Henderson standing next to one of those huge barrels! Party time! Cider - well, I forgot there was some monopoly...
  14. Being for the Benefit of Mr. Henderson | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola This is the large factory I gained through Challenge V.
  15. The estate of Mr. Henderson proudly announces the launch of a new rum destillery in Puerto Desafio (former Terra Fin Tin) on Isla de Victoria: As you can see, this is a large factory and will be licensed accordingly. Hr. H. has announced that their production will be second to none - a splendid time is guaranteed for all!
  16. It is that Ayrlego guy again! Great, but for the wrong side, unfortunately Congrats! And I get some money, it seems. That is ok as long as you're playing Eslandola
  17. Thanks. No, the lawyer is not the highwayman. I should have picked a different minifig... Thank you. Admittedly, the building has been released before. This time I needed a building as a target for the highwayman.
  18. Thanks a lot. I usually don't use fleshies at all, but for the evil Marderians I found it quite fitting.
  19. Thanks. The similarities between Highwayman and Lawyer are unintentional. I probably need somebody to provide me with the correct English banter - I envision Colonel Graybeard to sit there, smoking his pipe and saying things like "Blimey"... Thanks. This is one of the few builds I do/did with a baseplate. Unfortunately they are not favoured these days.
  20. This is one out of the category "careful, what you wish for"...
