Most humans would see you the same as you see them, corrupt and evil for taking away lives no matter how just the cause. The surviving humans would rally together for their husbands, brothers and sons killed in the war. They'll strike back and then you'll lose some of your husbands, brothers and sons and the same as them you'll strike back for that. You can all choose your own paths and its certainly up to you which one you take and to a point no one can tell you that you've made the wrong choice but unless you're prepared to feel the weight of not only the lives of those ready to fight and die today but those that are peacefully waiting back at your homes which would start another war for revenge on those who do die today then you might want to step back and think a tad more." "Making peace certainly seems to be both nigh impossible and the wrong path to take considering what the humans may have done but take the time to weigh the lives of those that will die today and those that will die in the future against making peace and see which one is heavier."

And my group actually isn't even affiliated with a side like I mentioned earlier if you'd have cared to listen, so a bland 'we're right come over to our side' most likely wouldn't have anyone in my group joining you unless you gave a bit more information about why you are 'the good guys'. Either way from what we've heard both sides have their faults."

    Sorry to be away for so long, been sick and busy. Dreyrugr equips all of his equipment that he had on before they were knocked off him by the hulk and takes a smelling salt, mead, nostrum, soma and mulled wine. "There's something of a war going on, heroes have been hired on both sides and you can't put 1 and 1 together? Brains aren't required to be in Heroica it seems. My group just seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time."

    Dreyrugr for a moment wonders how he could be hit so hard his armor and gloves came off but also not kill him instantly. "Mind swapping targets for a bit. The big one hits hard." Dreyrugr quickly grabs his shield and scythe again and attacks Myconid Rot Mystic B from the back row.

    "Oi." Dreyrugr is surprised at the hand and falls backward to the back row still attacking the hulk.

    Well my electricity is back so hello. "There isn't a need to add to the conversation if all has already been said." Dreyrugr turns to the mushroom like beings. I'm assuming the Rot Mystics are humanoid/plants as well. Dreyrugr attacks the Myconid Hulk from the front row. Dreyrugr will attack from the back row if this action is thought to be too risky. I've got a 2 in 6 chance of killing the hulk and only a 1 in 6 chance of being killed. Let me know if you guys don't think it is worth the risk.

    Tree on our powerline so someone else can take control of Dreyrugr as I'm not sure when it will be fixed.

    Because this got lost somewhere. Dreyrugr now gives each of the other party members one mead. Dreyrugr turns back to Grishnod. "You guarantee Valentino's release after the bridge is done and that's all well and good, you can sort out your own politics and we'll be on our merry way but what evidence can you produce that you'll actually keep to your word?"

    "Perhaps some form of thanks that we did get you here even in chains. And if your people had the strength to slaughter us I think you could have dealt with those rebels a bit easier. And is it that hard to perhaps discuss with Valentino that the terms of his release are giving you back and him not interfering with the bridge building? Why everyone today seems to want to ignore the elephant in the room rather than lead it out the door with a bag of food is beyond me."

    Ooc: Apologies I'd have used my phoenix essence but my laptop charger being plugged in caused the circuit breaker in my house to go haywire. If this causes me to be late again Darkdragon can take over Dreyrugr's actions. IC: Dreyrugr looked around at the carnage but then drew his attention to the armored Orc. "Call it a heroes luck."

    I wasn't talking about making a Star Wars game I was talking about how the Jedi Temple acted as something similar to Heroica (ok half the time the missions were important but the other half it seems like they are stuck doing odd jobs that somehow become dramatic and saved planets but at the end of the day was still something incredibly simple), which is why I said an Apocalyptic setting would be interesting because as I mentioned earlier Star Wars has already done a similar type of thing for a Sci-fi setting.
