While the initial set-up seemed like an insult to us, your clear explanations have done more than explain it was a misunderstanding/not to be personal , I feel that it was a sign of respect, and one that has completely turned my opinion on the matter. This collaboration will do fine and I am sure that due to the age limit the process will go unhindered from our side of the fence. Maybe talking to us before its creation would have helped the transition and also given you greater "media coverage", I am 99.98% sure our Admins would have been open to the idea! Expect my registration some time in the future, all I ask is that you reconsider the no linking option, obviously we as members of your forum would not excessively do this, but consider the fact that both sites could then display such things as Cpt. Green hairs comics. Or other discussions that are worth while, for example our thread with all the suspicion surrounding the new pirate line. I feel this sight could be a great resource of information and inspiration for your members, without damaging your own community. Thank you for explaining your reasonings with us, I hope Phred, Phes, Cpt. Green Hair, Mr Tiber, Bonaparte, SlyOwl and ImperialShadows as well as Sinner a frequent visitor are not insulted by you thinking they are too busy/lazy I am sure they are too busy A new slate shall be made, let us make it of Marble! Perhaps C-P will merge one day with F-C, and EB will link it! Regards, Cpt. PB

REVIEW: GIANT Castle Chess Set (2008)
Admiral Blockbeard replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Great review, now I really am going to have to do my MOC of the piratey Chess Board... Off to get a job for some money, off to spend some Money on Bricklink or one of my Adelaide Connections... hmmm... Anyway back to the board, I love how the pieces are removable, if the first chess set had been non-skellies and non-glued I would have considered it more, On Lego.com this is available to Australia, however I am not sure if it is in stores, it is a real shame it was not in stores for all our recent sales! 20% off this and I would have jumped at it... Again Great review Whitefang, it is of your usual high standard! Looking forward to all your future reviews! Regards Cpt. PB -

Could you include the name of the reviewer, so some credit is given? Also I am fairly sure Black Monarchs Castle was in a review combined with Knights Strong Hold...

And another clone brand springs up to challenge the true Lego Brand , sure this is a little different, I am not too sure why they have set this site up. It provides an alternative to this one sure, but this one discusses the same material, it could not be the age restriction as we have a +18 rule, and if they think they can stop young one joining they are joking! Kids who can't do something want it even more! If they truly wanted an alternative they would have no age restriction. I think it is more the case they want to be the admin of the site and not have to be "under" anybody else, and also notable ex-members from here, ("that euro-place"), probably wanted to get in on pirates again... Its non-for profit type stuff so money cannot be an issue. Sure competition is good in a market where consumers are concerned over price, just look at the no competition prices of petrol! However for fan sites it will just complicate who is who, for example I could join their site under Mister Phes if I wanted (will not do)! It splits focus and people are not sure where to go to find what, their no referencing us is a tad misplaced for a fan community that is supporting Lego and destroys any unity between the two sites, it actually sounds like they value their sites branding over Lego's Brand! shame F-C and C-C Admin, Shame! All that said, it does have an area for ESPG... C-C is always a good spot to visit and was always neutral with the castle forum, hopefully this can turn around and end up a bit like that Sir Dano, maybe you could explain to us (me) why the site has been started, as of yet I see no reason for it. EDIT: I re-read what i wrote it was to harsh for my opinion of C-C, and a few spelling issues

Mystery Castle - Day 10
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I think Fred is a Loyalist, I to vote for him thinking it a bad move. I think Dragonator has left a group Traitor free, the Guards, though I can only speak of my own allegiance, I also believe Quarryman to be a Loyalist. Unvote Commanderbly42/Paul Vote Adam/Fred ((I am in my lunch break, from study, dropping crumbs on the keyboard )) The person who has dragged your suspicions away from a near conviction is in Lord Savril, I have done some thinking and I think that he is to be examined. For tomorrows consideration I present the reasoning behind this as 1. "you know at least one other Lord is a Traitor" to which he said EEEEAAAKKKK... 2. We try to make a majority twice in the last two days only for it to be split today by him an Kyle 3. While he was bonking, he forgot to stop a suspect killer of killing Loyalists (pigeon kicking), reason for such an act "I forgot", I read it as, I needed him to kill a few more Loyalists so my chances of winning increased. 4. Although he was "announced" as a "Loyal" he was never a target of Marcus even after he was exposed as the bonker, the two could have been in league with each other. (Dragonator said something then Savril pounced on him saying he gave too much away, only for Ritz to come along and show just how he did not say anything) Very cleaver! Anger over exposing Marcus?!? 5. He is experienced in these games, and would know what information to give or not give to hide he is a Traitor 6. The first day he acted as if he had no memory and gave very little away until he understood how we behaved and deducted. 7. He is a Lord of the castle and could have been jealous of his brothers power and in League with Ash. 8. Now that we have illuminated Marcus killer of the Loyalists, Savy has been trying to make Dragonators chance killing his new Death in the night 9. He has Evil eye brows, I am actually serious, as does Kyle who he has just defended. And if you look at the paintings the face is normally a give away, some look mad, others frowning and others normal, those that look angry to me have been traitors! Look for yourselves http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=322718 10. Kyle turns to Savril for his defense in day 9, we all then unvote him and run after Paul, with very little time left , now Paul is cleared by Kyle and we all run after Adam... thinking number wise this makes sense, we get near a conviction from loyal voters to be mislead by the few Traitors, saving each other, i think i have found the remaining Traitors, what you think? ((I need to get back to study already 5 minutes late...)) I beseech you, to think about this, I had forgotten my own advise, look beneath the obvious, how could have i been so blind! It is too late in the day to change, Adam/Fred is gone now, just tomorrow lets not change direction... -
Mystery Castle - Day 10
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
((Okay this is my last post that I can do today, the exam is on Friday and I need to study hard tomorrow (being technically today (1am Wednesday night/Thursday morning)))) I unvote Paul, Vote Trexxen/Kyle, hope we don't have a random killing, and at least Kyle has been suspected for a while. Don't think you out of the woods though Mary and Paul... and by the looks Gary and Adam (+all the guards) and Rotrigious just about the only person not suspected is Savy, that makes me suspect him... no I am missing one ah the friar, nope he is suspected by some to... the further we look for traitors the more we seem to get lost , maybe if the traitors could kindly get lost then we could search shortly and find them, khfgkugctg *head hits key board*! and on that saad note i think my typist has fallen asleep. Night night Blocky Now all you are stuck with me! haha (Stauder, you may use Byron to his Anoying maximum in my absence!(he likes poo a lot )((sorry guys but he is kinda funny))) ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ -

YOUR MEAN I.S. I think I have found us a solution to us being spelling retar... ahh related, http://spellcheckplus.com/ Just apply to affected area to get optimal results. WhiteFang, i think this is a one off, and if there is to be more it will be about knock off vs the real deal! Any suggestions for the next clone review (if there is to be one), Mini figs? Colour difference? Plastic bend test? Regards Cpt. PB

I am only hoping to learn from the best... Seriously though, I was surprised the Clone was so close! Where did Byron get too, actually where did my Mrs get too? Oh great, I got a bad feeling about this.

Oh, no you DID'NT! Sprinkles runs to warn Savy that Strawder, likes his name spelt like this Stauder -
Okay, I will relearn how to spell your name! ((I hope you did not take it offensively, I realized it was some good material, after the afore mentioned spelled it wrongly...Mrs PB also says sorry. )) Stauder... Repeats 10x... I think I got it now... However with your record are you sure your spelling it right regards Cpt. PB (looking forward to your involvement in MC) Ps. Am I annoying? Edit: I see, then read in first post where it says "host" read "temporary host"
-
Settle down... I was calling Strauder the host because he has been claiming it for a while now behind your back... read it carefully now... I assumed something had shuffled... Regards Cpt. PB

Great work ISC! I hope to see more of your work here! I agree that it looks a little like forbidden Island. great story, I think this is the first MOC where the Pirates and Soldiers are friends and dealing! My favourite part would have to be the great rock construction, like the break away part! Regards Cpt. PB

Cpt. PB; Welcome, to EB Olds Exhibits, the knock off of EB News Presents, he he get it... Mrs PB; See what I have to put up with Alice, at least IS is funny... ... half the time Your not here to heckle me! Your here to do all the wif... ahh never mind... You better stop there before you dig any further buddy, get on with it, or I'll get my whip! Okay, as i was saying, welcome to the big shoot off, Here we will put to the test, the Knock off of Lego "Enlightens" shooting cannon against the Lego shooting cannon, let us see whom shoots the furthest! HE HE HE What?!? Your the one doing all the shooting off here! Oh grow up... *clears throat* On with the contest of the cannons Yes on with the contest, my ugly half! I didn't do all that measuring for nothing! That was rigged and you know it, with out further interruptions here are the two cannons... First task for our audience is to guess which cannon is which... which is a Knock off, and which is Genuine LEGO... Green or Red decide for yourself now before going on... While you are deciding, here is our panel of judges; Byron, Majiko and Dragonator. I can now reveal that the green cannon is the knock off, and the red one is the Lego! Congrats to those how worked it out! Not that it was hard or anything, has anyone told you you got pretty eyes!?! Byron, don't make me regret you being on the panel! On with the shooting! Here we have the battle of the clone wars... On the left we have the Clones Reds and on the right we have the Lego Blues I like the blues, its groovy music man Yes... (not with her at all) I read that! *SLAP* Moving on... we have a close up of the teams! Who do you think will win Blocky? Oh great now even your saying it... I think Lego will win by a Lego Mile! How long is a Lego Mile? Twice the length it is from the start to the middle now shut it. With out further fighting between the bone heads I present the resul... what is this? It a appears, Fabuland is making a surprise entry... That bunny looks dangerous. Don't worry i am all stocked up on my Holy Grenades, what is this now... He He this guy is cute, he so small! Dwarfs get angry easily please be polite! Quiet, I'm trying to watch Letterman Okay, the results are as follows. Dwarf is 160 studs Killer Bunny is 96 studs Lego is 192 studs Clone is 176 studs Dwarf not using chain pull! 176 studs! And that dog just jumpped 26 feet! Please note that the measurements were taken from where the ammo hit the ground, not where it ended up. I thought you were watching Letterman Ad break, shh its back on... I'm hungry go get me something to eat! *leaves to go get some food* *Scream* *returns quickly with food* why do you scream! I didn't, that girly squeal was Byron... look i took a photo... The killer bunny was not happy about losing huh. wait i didn't know Dragonator could fly! Strauder; So whad do you thinc your doing hear, huh! What that red dude with the space helmet just say... I think thats the ("temporary") host of EB News Presents *whispers* I know him from his spelling... Quick burn everything leave no evidence *The signal cuts out with a haunting scream* ((Killer bunny scene by Mrs. PB, all other photos (the bad ones) by Cpt. PB, hope you enjoyed!))

Enlighten Brick Boats Review
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Admiral Blockbeard's topic in LEGO Pirates
1. yes total rip-off, but with no actual Lego product available from Lego resembling these creations Lego has/is currently sacrificing this market to the Modern day pirates 2. pray tell, have you ever seen these bricks in person? I have done a little research into these bricks, they are abs plastic, to my understanding the same as lego, the plastic colour is about the only inferiority it has, along with the molds having a bump on the stud, instead of the word Lego. 3. If Lego wishes to sue them, they should email me and I will do the ground work for them on the condition they do release a new Pirates range! 4. ... thanks for your opinion, it is one shared by many on this forum. Did you at least enjoy the review? SHOOT OFF POSTED SEE HERE! i need a brake from my revision Regards Cpt. PB -
