  1. I'd like to see your batcopter. as a child I had a die cast set of three models, the original batmobile, batcopter and batboat! they had small static characters that sat in the cockpits/seats/ loved them! I particularly like your batmobile although those snot wings are definitely to die for!
  2. A windmill would be awesome - evil dead style.... :) In all honesty they seem to have covered the classic monsters in this first wave as mentioned by others. I love the figs and you can never have too many zombies so I guess I'm hoping they do some more of those.... Maybe a Jules Verne type submarine as a a vehicle On the subject of monsters Maybe Some better Skeletons - a Jack o Lantern or headless horseman perhaps? Maybe even the Grim Reaper himself. I do hope this theme continues, I'm sure that with the popularity of zombie lego those sets at least will soar in price once discontinued.
  3. Ships Boats sounds like a very good and authentic idea! :)
  4. Is my question not valid?
  5. Unbelieveable tekkers! I love the way you have managed to incorporate the lines of the scooter with so many otherparts. It's seamless!
  6. Excellent decals designs! Really like the brick sabbath designs! top work fella
  7. Hey hey ! Welcome fellow UK dweller! Did you manage to get any of the Sun paper giveaway sets? Drop me a pm if you didn't and I'll sort you out with a couple of the baggies to help you on your way. If nothing else I'm sure you would appreciate a batman on jetski! I did exactly the same - got into the minifigs then realised I needed bricks too! Welcome aboard fellow new person! If you haven't found flickr yet, I would recommend you take a look too! It's great for image hosting and a lot of the peeps here are there too!
  8. I've been working on the same sort of thing - I was playing Red Dead Redemption the Zombie expansion. I'll put it on the back burner now I've seen yours! excellent work peeps!
  9. Unbelieveable tekkers!!! I love the head and the gun especially - the pose is also excellent just like the toy box art work!!1
  10. This all sounds very reasonable but can lego not get around this in the same way they did with POTC battle packs. The Figures are still construction toys in that they are made up of parts. If Lego really wanted surely they could just sell them disassembled - although this would probably require a change in packing to make them more appealling from a marketing/shelf prospective?
  11. My favorite is the Lego Series 1 zombie. Not sure about the drumstick or shovel accessory but I love the fact Lego acknowledged such an adult theme. I'm sure that it's popularity has played a part in the recent rush of TLG monster fighter zombie mini-figs releases. Other favorites are the series 3 MIME and the new Series 7.5 Olympic Boxer!
  12. I think this is wonderful! The tantive is particularly nice!
  13. Thanks All for the kind words! I'm glad people like it! AXES - They are supposed to be rudders rather than axes - I should have mentioned in the description. :)
  14. 1988 for me BLACKTRON!!! I was 11-12 years old and the slightly boring peaceful but still my favorite line of clasic space was rocked by the introduction of BLACKTRON! In came these new BAD-A$$ guys with blacked out visors, cool uniforms and black sleek stealth vehicles. BLACKTRON FTW!
  15. My votes go to – Oky – Nighthawk 1pt – KielDaMan – Vagabond – Champion of the masses 1pt – BaraSH – Crazy Pumpkin - 1pt Well done all some great efforts and nice back story!
  16. Thanks all for the positive feedback and comments!
  17. Hiya just to clarify What exactly counts as data retreival tool - can the toll be panels or radio receivers. I've completed the build but not in the correct colours yet. If I've got the wrong end of the stick I will alter it. Also are we allowed to add custom decals to our designs. Just something simple but it would finish my moc off if I could just stick a little extra detail on it. :) thanks.
  18. V&A steamworks On Flickr. A mad genius called Guy Himber sells them. I absolutely love them he also made the stovepipe hat which the bird is coming out of :)
  19. I love this. I think you have captured the feel of a TLG set very well. The brother with th torch is my favourite too. I particularly like the cross on the central piece. Excellent!
  20. The Great Soprendo conjures a dove from his Hat!
  21. UNBELIEVEABLE TEKKERS!!! Well done to all who contributed. Looks absolutely stunning!
  22. Thanks Yes they are brickforge pauldrons. :) Also used crazy arms to get the right grip on the controls! This was prety much a table scrap so I only took one more picture. Took the pictures lying down in my garden and edited out the flying stand in paint :).
  23. There only reason that would stop me buying lego is death. :) Seriously though only financial constraints such as the birth of a child or mortgage would stop me from getting a little fix now and then :)
  24. Lovely! and what a great TV series that was. So long and thanks for all the fish!
  25. Captain Quentin Horatio is piloting a Navigator class Turbine Sail, although primarily a short range reconnaissance vehicle it can be launched directly from one of the Queen's Zeppelins to check out enemy targets or clear landing zones of enemy personnel with it's two wing mounted Lewis-Hamilton guns.
