ITS A TRAP.....
-
I built this for Ma.Ktober over at Flickr, Job done - A power station needs repair. A faulty belt has been replaced and tossed. It started life as a microscale Jabba's palace you can see the bit on the left hand side which I started with... I think Now it's been scrapped I will try and finish that off. Comments and criticisms always welcome!!

Christo's Custom Minifigures
Hammerstein NWC replied to Santaduckz's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Hiya - If you contact him directly and ask to buy a bunch of figs he will do them at a decent price. I've got around 9 or so of his customs and they are top quality customs. :) -
Great builds all! My favorite three are as follows: 5. gid617 - 1 point 7. Krystel - 1 point 16. Julius No - 1point Very tough to choose!

I like the largest one, the freighter the most. The back is particlarly nice. The coloured strip on the Corvette is a nice touch which breaks up things. I don't like the asymmetry of the fighter but that's just me

[MOC] My own planet : Kashyyyk - Chewbacca - Oevvaor
Hammerstein NWC replied to DanSto's topic in LEGO Star Wars
very good!- the orbit of the planet finishes it off nicely! -
Apologies Mods I meant to put (MOC) in the title. So I poured my heart and soul into a mech I built for a competition. What do you guys think. I had to incorporate 3rd party pieces into it as part of the rules. So here are the origins... Comments appreciated as much as faves! In 2085 the Orbital Gateway decloaked and appeared from the dark side of the moon. Drop Ships from World #2785 shattered the tranquillity of Earth soon after. The Ministry from Dimension X had arrived to spread their Gospel of Death. ABOUT THE “DEATH SENTENCE” MECH The Name "Death Sentence" was thought to have originated from the unlucky units who were sent to fight it. In actual fact the moniker was adopted by the Pilots of the mech division itself. The mech is comprised of an organic exoskeleton and a Titanium-Ceranium metal alloy base. It has been invigorated by "Technomancy" (technological necromancy). The mech does not use an atomic fuel core as per human technology, rather it is powered by Soul- Fusion technomancy (The CND Logo has been painted on by support Crew to mock Earth Mech pilots). A Pilots soul will power the mech for up to 1 year, exertion such as combat or self repair rapidly depletes this time frame leaving visible signs of physical degradation. Organic batteries (human sacrifices) can remove the leeching effect temporarily but piloting the mech is effectively a martyrdom. The memories and experiences of every pilot the mech bonds with are absorbed along with its life-force. In this way even "green" recruits are instant combat veterans. I have a couple of spares if you would like them?
-
Hi guys and gals I built this rifle for a comp over at brickarms. I was pretty pleased with the results what do you think? I would like to have made this in dark grey but just didn't have the required bricks (a common problem in my household). The support crew are part of my ministry faction. :) "Frank and Radar give the Volcano the once over before it is cleared for use in combat operations." Radar decides to change the ammo belt. Frank and Radar discuss earthling sports - they have seen Liverpool FC are in the relegation zone and find this very amusing.

As I said before I don't understand why these figs can't be realeased without the backing card later. Look at Superman - he was a comiccon exclusive and now you can get him for peanuts in the Luthor set, does that mean the Comic con ones are worthless. Superman with backing card $150-$250 without $10? I'm pretty sure it's exactly the same figure but it's the packaging that makes it valuable. it's the same principle as other carded toy figures. without the card they are "common". I'm really only fussed about Venom and it appears he will be coming out as a fig in another set anyways. :)

[MOC] Monster Fighter Spooky House
Hammerstein NWC replied to Hersbrucker's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
this just gets better and better! I love the "outcrop" that the house is built on and the minifigs are nicely posed too! Lots of nice details to enjoy - I can't wait to see what you are going to do next! -
As above I love the roof! The smoothness of the whole scene is always very pleasing! I'd like some of that ice cream!! Ben and Jerry's or Haagen Daaz!! nyom!
