  1. Thanks Guys for all the positive feedback! Si - Im glad you enjoyed the jokes! I tried to make it funny and hoped people would pick up on some of the little things I put in the story. I tried to imagine a world were Zombies weren't just a pest and where the liberal minded people would try to integrate them into society regardless of the obvious dangers. The arms are aftermarket parts called Crazy arms! V&A Steamworks (Guy) from Flickr makes them. They are literally my favorite "custom" piece out there!
  2. Great effort folks I'm voting as follows: The penguin 1 point Brickstar Runner 1 point Iamwillgibson 1 point Well done everyone choosing only three was very difficult!
  3. If you like after market accessories look up Guy Himber on Flickr - his name is V&A Steamworks he manufactures custom extra tall Stovepipe hats which look great for Steampunk figs. f you are a purist take a look at the Orient Expedition figures too :) -Other figs that are useful are soime of the CMFs - The bagpiper and detective Detective (sherlock holmes) torso's especially. I've used them here myself and I love steampunk - I've made quite a few figs and such myself. (please excuse some shameless self promotion)
  4. Agreed Love the AWACS dish on top! Very nice with some swish editing on the background too!!
  5. I would love to see that happen too! This is possibly my favorite theme and I thought Blacktron and Pirates were going to take some beating!
  6. Good luck Spidey! sounds like a dream job to me. Mine is very unglamourous. I'm just building out desks and formatting and reinstalling old laptops with XP - very dull!
  7. Congrats Brickthing on getting that frown turned upside down! :) I for one will be buying every and any set that does make it into production. I have a ton of friends who don't collect lego but were wow'ed when I showed them the project on Cuusoo. If they bring out any small sets - maybe a test subject and the robo's then I'm certain they would at least buy those as desk buddies :)
  8. I believe thia was a polybag from the Sun promotion. Not the last one but the one before. :) you can buy it on ebay for around £4. :)
  9. Hey fella it says these files aren't public yet?
  10. Oh I'll try and do some decals then :( I guess paint isn't allowed then as that old be classed as modifying, does this also EDIT*aplly* to friends figs in our scenes? Guess I will have to brick link some expensive parts too :)
  11. Quick question - I have some Lego tiles with plank designs printed on them. Am I allowed to use these, the parts are available in the haunted house but I can't afford to buy the amount I need for my entry!? I have painted some of my own tiles in this fashion too, are they allowed? Cheers
  12. personally I am hoping they do a set with the Nazgul on giant Carrion a nazgul on an undead beastie would be awesome. Maybe they will do a set with the monted Nashua chasing Arwen and Frodo? It was a great scene in the movie. :)
  13. I'm not seeing all the entries in the original post - am I doing something wrong?
  14. I have friendsified my avatar. The secret identity of Outlaw Paco Laco appears to be Peter from the Friends family! No wonder he can afford that big house! What will Anna do when she finds out he is a bank robber, it could mean a costly divorce or perhaps she will turn a blind eye Carmella Soprano style!!!
  15. Just the seen the new pics of series 8 on Big Cam's flickr stream!! Am really excited about the following buts Old School Diver -Helmet the Hamlet "ruff" DJ head phones The Bat Conquistador Arrmour Bagel Santa's sack? Fairy wings!! My mind is going mad thinking of exciting new possibilities for these accessories. at the top of the list has to be BIG Daddy minifigs for the diver helmet and action shot Batman Vigs!!! not to mention finally having a loot sack for all those outlaws out there!
  16. I love the tentacle coming trhough the grate - the posing of the chap fighting him is also particularly nice. I can't wait to get hold of the swamp monster set myself!
  17. Your Cuusoo project is just so spot on! supported - Wild encounters is a real example of how Cuusoo should be used. Good Luck!

  18. My painting skills are weak but I enjoyed trying a bit of modelling. "Ruxpin" on the left has had extensive head surgery and remodelling. Jimmy fala-Fala has had a haircut and some paint. Should have gone for another colour other than black with the red bandana though :( Left to right Ruxpin Flyboy The Deadman Jimmy Fala-Fala (2crows) Big Ernie
  19. I have been inspired to join in the friends fun! Among my many projects I'm building Olivia's house with a twist! Sci-Fi guys and gals we need to represent!
  20. Edit reread the poll I would say white all the way!
  21. Loving it in SCI-FI!

  22. There seems to be some confusion about the arm cannon. I have posted another picture to clarify. The "shield" part is actually a radar dish skeleton, it's a remnant of the pre-war build. In my story I imagined that the arm was repurposed quite quickly and certain elements of the mech were best left in to save build time in a war situation. --------- I built a sword shield combo independent of the mech and then used the katana because I liked it so much last minute - in another variant it had a powermaul which was more in keeping with the colour scheme (light grey). I was kinda iffy about putting a close comabt weapon and gun on it but I had already put a lot of effort into the cannon arm so I went with it anyhoo. the shield is built - tonight I will build out the the other arm and post a picture of it as I think it's worth a look. As always thanks for the positive feedback and constructive criticism! :) SCI-FI has become my home here at Eurobricks!!
  23. I misunderstood this as an answer the sensors are surely data stealing tools? I asked what counted as a tool and you said the above? I thought listening devices would count as a data stealing tool? Also my question also stands of where are the tools on the spyrion drone? It doesn't have any grabbers or hand held tools either but scores 8.8.? I don' see the consistency there? Does the robot count? If so then it seems a bit harsh that someone else got marked down for putting their drone in a ship? Updated my photo took it in daylight! :)
  24. Picked up LEGO 6257 Castaway's Raft from a local charity shop - no shark but only £1.50 Totally made up!!! I've decided to build it up and am doing a version of it "on steroids" :).
